- Join me for a trek through Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. Enchanted Rock SNA is located in central Texas and spans the borders between Gillespie and Llano Counties. The park is highlighted by giant granite domes, unique rock formations, and more.
Enchanted Rock sits ~425 ft above the surrounding area and rises to ~1825 ft above sea level. The park has 35 water-only campsites and 20 walk-in campsites. Day use is $8 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. Reservations can be made at the link below.
In this video I hike "The Big Rock" and several other "peaks" in the park. Spring is my favorite time to visit Enchanted Rock - The pink granite makes a beautiful backdrop to the wide variety of wildflowers. However, beauty can be found all year around at E-Rock.
Hope you enjoy the video! Head out to Enchanted Rock SNA soon to enjoy this great park for yourself.

Nice video. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Wow, what an absolutely "enchanting" area! I mean for real too! These are sights that are truly worth seeing, as they really are not something that you see everyday! Hiking in some of these areas really bring a certain level of peace and groundedness...so good to see someone else take the time to touch the ground! Take great care now and have yourself a wonderful week! Bruce and Otis
Wow that place looks awesome!
Awesome video 👍👍
Thank you. I really enjoyed that trip and making the vid.
Nice trip. Been meaning to get back down to Enchanted Rock for years now. I even had reservations for a month or so ago and then something came up. Like your trip, I wanted to get pretty much all around the park. So I appreciate your tour of most trails. Your editing and videos get better and better with each one.
Thanks man. I try to make it out there at least once a year. It's been 4 times this year :)
I have some good one's coming up. CO Bend and the Uintas in Utah. Lots of editing to do.
Nice video man, really need to plan a trip up there. Going to Big Bend next weekend!
Why don’t u comment Mel ?
I’m still watching! It’s so beautiful there!
