I believe the heart of a modern living home is open kitchen/ pantry area .. where you can entertain a visitor while preparing the food .. the kitchen / pantry here looks very closed in and separated ...bit outdated in contrast to rest of modern features..it would have better incorporated the automatic access to the beautiful garden space inside ...slightly decorated bathroom walls would have been nicer with high quality amenities..which is already there ...in the long run will you feel homely with very high ceilings n pillars...that’s how I see this property...love the garden area both front and inside and very practical washing area are the best features ... living..... room... in this house moist outdated n
Thank you for the feedback. In our experience most Sri Lankans prefer a closed kitchen because otherwise with an open kitchen the smell of food drifts through into the living, dining and the rest of the house 😁
Again, in our experience most people like the high ceilings as they don't feel like they're closed in or claustrophobic which some people feel when in apartments. But thank you for your honest feedback nevertheless 😇

I like the overall structure and design of the house, but one downside would be the lack of a proper dining room. Plus the fittings look rather gaudy, especially those bathroom tiles.

The major problem of Sri Lankan architects is the lack of construction detailing which leads to quality of construction. Not sure you get what I mean, it's a broader topic and has never been paid attention to.
Nice house.... But I think the review was too long..... I've watched quite a few of your videos and they seem to be getting a little longer recently! Shorter videos, especially about house reviews will be more engaging. This is just my opinion..... Just a constructive criticism!
