League cannot handle mouse polling rate above 500hz or something so any new competitive mouse does not work well with League. This is a result of Riot being a small indie dev community :(
I think that instead of just 8 pings, they should have 26 pings, each representing a letter of the alphabet, that way you can communicate exactly what you need to say clearly in plain english

Playing jungle and just keeping track of buff/dragon/baron timers used to be a big enough advantage that it could easily carry you to gold as long as your mechanic are not utter ass.

honestly though, a darkin whip-sword enchanter that can whip her allies to give them lifesteal, attack speed and movement speed towards enemies, generally all of the aggressive things that would reward aggressive play, would be cool (and also something i thought about aaaaaaaaages ago)
The ward placement thing feels completely fine to me, even though yes, skill expression is technically decreased. Being good at placing wards doesn't feel like a skill so much as just another tedious thing you have to learn that isn't all that hard to execute once you have it.

Meh, I kind of like the theme of Darkin being more physical oriented than magic or buffing others. That said I really thought Renata was going to be a possessed darkin or void champ.

They should've added voice chat or at least make voice chat accessible at a certain honor level (Honor 2/3). Anyone under honor level 2/3 would be able to hear people using voice chat, but wont be able to talk back. I think this would be a fair system and can help encourage people to not be toxic so they are able to use the voice chat feature to help them with their games
