I was a passenger on a plane with an APU issue. We had to sit on the runway at Heathrow for about 3 hours, which meant that anyone who was connecting in Charlotte missed their connection. There should be a way for pilots on int'l flights to communicate with Border Patrol in the receiving airport to let them know about a delay so Border Patrol can be more prepared for that because we had about 300 souls on board and only a couple of Border Patrol people checking passports.
Awesome video! How does the cart start procedure work? Do you put one engine on at the gate with the cart, then you push and start the other one with the crossbleed?

Another day, another vlog, another amazing piece of aviation pie 🎉
Thanks for documenting your day, super fun to watch
Brilliant Joe to see where you have got to over last few years due to your hard work. Great insight and great video mate.
This was rad! Cool to see insight into everyday operations and challenges that the general public doesn't know about!
4 leg day with inop APU that sounds like the universe telling me to take the day off 🤣🤣

I’ve refused every APU(electric) inop aircraft for the past 8 years. 319, 320 and 321s. No bleed is ok if it’s cold outside. YMMV 🙂
When are you going to be on vatsim
Spirit?
Sun country?
Looks like Frontier based on the clues I picked up
