Hey great video Juat wanted to ask you about the leafsprings so they come under the axle or on top just like on your truck Because i was thinking Changing them on my truck Its 1988 Mitsubishi 2wd Still stock but was thinking Putting the leafsprings on top of the axle this way I'll get good lift also will be using new 6inch leafsprings So do you think its possible to remove them from under the axle and put them on top a reply would be appropriate it:) Thx for reading my comment
ghostspider KGS they should be able to on top with no problem. You will get extra lift by doing that. Maybe look up a lifted Dodge Raider? Same truck and you can hopefully find some info. Good luck.
If the fluid is like black when changing would it hurt if I put the new fluid in? I know if you do that to the motor or transmission it can mess them up.

Disgruntled Mule piece of cake. Just let the new sealant dry before you refill. Also make sure you add friction modifier if you have limited slip. You can check for that with your code on your door tag. Google it. Good luck.
Hi i really really enjoy your videos can u put some pocket riveted fender flares on that bad boy that would make it look sweet im 14 so i cant drive yet but i have so many ideas for my future ranger i too want to put some wheel spacers i have an offroad winch bumper for it too i plan to buy a flowmaster 40 series delta flow muffler plz look into those items for video ideas

Just curious :why are there a lot of people that use gasket maker When redoing their differential ,rather than buying a gasket?
I think the gaskets tend to leak. I’ve never had a problem with the gasket maker.
That's how it't done on the Ford assembly line.
@Curtis Sherwood I agree and next time i'm using a gasket. I'll also replace the cover. A new one is only $13.00 for my Ranger.

I’d say you definitely want to change it if it’s black. It’s supposed to be a clear, golden color.

How long did you let the gasket sealer sit before putting the fluid in and what brand sealer
Gmc 1974 it was an hour. I used VersaChem Mega Black. I haven’t had any leaks at all.

It’s some Magnaflow that came on the truck. It’s currently cut off after the muffler due to the lift. I need to fix that.

Confused as to why you have a 7.5 in an Edge model. Supposed to be an 8.8 in all Edges.
MUSTANG408W mine is the lowest trim level of Edge. The VIN tag decodes as the smaller diff.

Victor Espindola just the generic parts store version shown in the video. It’s all pretty much the same.
