I think it's a bit unfair to say that Jemma was "racist" towards Inhumans at first. If you remember, Tripp had literally just died from a terrigen crystal and she had to pick up all of the broken pieces of stone that were once her friend. She was grieving and quite understandably upset and distrusting of anything terrigen related at that point in time.
Sounds like rationalizing racism. Doesn't mean she's evil, but we *know* the prejudice is wrong and that Inhumans are very arguably another race (or at least easily seen as one by non-Inhumans).
Character development at its finest... from being racist and scared of anything alien to becoming an Inhuman whisperer.
