- Finaly the first run of my new project : the Scorwler. A mix of a Sand Scorcher and a crawler. Definitely not a shelf queen :)
Movie filmed with Nikon D3s and edited with iMovie on a Mac. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Nice looking buggy and I love the filming locations.
Thank you!
That's an impressive Scorcher, looks absolutely great. Your editing is very professional and fun to watch! Thumbs up big time!
Still love this vid 8 years later, this inspired me to build one of my own
Already 8 years … crazy! Thank you!
Me too!
As we have come to expect . . . Another masterpiece. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the chapters.
Thank you, happy you enjoyed it !

great vid men!!! loved the "paint work" and the front tiers
What an excellent video!
THAT was very entertaining! I can't believe the GRIP you got, in a 2WD Buggy!! Cool weathering too.

Great car and video good camerawork well done
Hi man! this is the best different style to make a video! and the idea of crawling scorcher is great! My best compliments! :D
Great film - full of fun :-) scorwler - priceless !!
Nice Sand Scorcher Scorwler, my friend! Well done!
Your Sand Scorcher look's awesome! Thumbs up!
Thank you!
Thank you!
That thing is so cool :)
tamiya = fun. nice vid!
Thanks ! Building the kit takes a few days, customizing it takes a few weeks :) but it's the fun part of the job ;) Probably my favorite kit ever, so realistic.
Je viens d'en monter et c'est un régale... CA donne des envies ta version et ta vidéo mais je vais rester sur un buggy des sables...
so so cool.
Great video ! And nice Scorcher ! :)
Yes and rear motor too :)
subbed! Can you help us with understanding the aging of the paint? do you just get 4 or 5 colours then sand it down after?
I love it :)
Thank you Gecko!
that looks great. love the dents in the body work especially. did you lock the rear dif? is that even a thing one can do? i don't own one yet.
phrawgg2 Thank you! Rear dif is locked to get better traction for crawling. That kit is awesome even though it's +30 years old. Just keep in mind it should be driven properly, it's not a wild basher :)
Awesome offroad performance for a 2WD car!!!
vwry nice paint job man veru cool \m/
@doctarbob Thanks, front wheels are the ones from the Subaru Brat, the rest comes from the kit. Front tower & rear cage are selfmade from brazed steel.
great car, beautifully shot, well done.
but wheres the driver figure?
i like all the diffrent camra shots
that is one cool little car.
Thank you, glad you like it!
Such a good video. It´s a real classic Scorcher vid, like "Tamiya Scorcher Goes Mad Max", or "Fast As Funk At Shell Island".
What tires are on it? I live in a muddy and snowy area so the sand tires do not work well :l
These are the Rough Rider rear tires, I just have shaved them for a more aggressive pattern.
nice video man !!!!!!!!
Great video, amazing shots, simply incredibly Great !
btw whats the camera you use ?
it's 8 years i want to do the same as you, i've even wrote you here down! I will do it this summer!
Awesome, show me your rig when it's done!
@@fullspeeddesign for sure! 😊
@@fullspeeddesign I have 3 original vintage sand scorcher bodies, I will use the worst one painted in red for my project of Scorwler. Some questions for you... are you running a brushless combo? Do you have a construction thread somewhere in some forum? is this Scorwler still alive? Still looks the same?
@@tiziano316 Awesome project, RWD crawling is fun ! No brushless on this rig, it runs the original Mabushi brushed motor. Sorry no buid thread. I still got it :-) like on this video : th-cam.com/video/x5VRVq6S3u4/w-d-xo.html
classic design...A+ job n driving
just want to say the use of your camera and your editing makes these videos enjoyable to watch. its like a story is some ways.
best vid and best rc inyoutube!
How make rust?
Have you a construction thread for this? I wanna know what tires wheels do you use on this and what motor...ecc...
+Tiziano (TIX74) Please look here : fullspeeddesign.com/rc/buildthreads/the-scorwler
Ok thanks a lot! It's about 5 years i see this video lol! It's time to make my own scorwler!
***** :D Just do it my friend!
I'm planning to do it with an original sand scorcher bodyshell, i have 3 of them..,it's a shame maybe but i think it fits also better for a "scorwler"! Then i want to make a Samba bus offroad version with the 1:10 Maisto toy, i have 3 bodies of them too! :D
+Tiziano (TIX74) I can feel your scowler 's gonna be awesome! I've always liked those samba too but could not buy one… maybe later :)
Hi, just wondering what wheels/tyres you've got on there?
Also you mention the hot glue is reversible. Can you just pull it out, or would you use some alcohol based substance to get it out?
Thanks
Does this use the standard scorcher gearbox? If so is the diff not locked as standard?
The ESC must get quite hot
My number 1 rc video on youtube for 2 reasons:-
(1) it was not ruined by music
(2)You went crawling with a scorcher
@fullspeeddesign i didnt know u have to customize but yours it cool i like the rust and etc
@Morongotongo123 Thank you ! Shot with Nikon D3s
@doctarbob all stock, I just locked the rear diff.
great movi !!! like it ;-)
where can i buy this i love VW offroad stuff
@diegobobcat Thank you ! It means a lot from someone who seems to like the Sand Scorcher at least as much as I do :)
How long did it take you to build the kit? Nice video!
;) Thanks !
Awesome vid!
What type of Vid-Cam are you using???
this Thing is so cute ;)
vintage buggy revisited ;-)
Awesome video the lights are from tamiya or customize by you?
@doctarbob I used hot glue, it is not the strongest method but if I change my mind it is reversible.
sweet....
@Xlife93 Such car kit (Tamiya Sand Scorcher 2010) is for sale… than you must customize it
@warracer03 Nikon D3s
@13377331able Re-release of the sand scorcher comes with all the parts you need to make it. You'll just have to reshape some parts, add a led kit and you're done.
@jacobtraxxasman Yes, 2 rear wd
@106poobug Thanks… The driver couldn't get ready for the first run… :)
Do you know that the VW Bug is a rear wheel drive car ? :P
c'est quel camescope ????!!!! superbe image superbe video!!!!!!!
Full stock, just locked the diff with hot glue on grease (reversible).
dude put some super swompers on it or put some sand tires on it
Hahaha "SCORWLER" !!!! 5 stars
Scorwler = Scor(cher) + (cra)wler :)
yes, my mother has a white one :)
i dont understand Scorwler
SCORcher + craWLER = scorwler :-)
