Striker 1945,sonic wings,raiden,and raystorm are my favorite shmups epecially striker 1945 make me interest to fighter plane/jet and then ace combat series came a arcade flight simulator game and make me a military nerd especially fighters plane/jet
Ok I disagree with you on Crisis Wing, the review you gave it, or issues you were saying it had.. Was more of you not liking how the game plays because the dev chose the style. You said you had to reset because you couldn't pick up power up items, so do you mean there is a glitch.. Or is it just that way? Ship speed doesn't need to change unless it's actually slow, that isn't the case here it's balanced. It's very compact in level design so turning up the speed would have been a mess. It would have messed up the gameplay, not once did really ever here you tell how it played, was there slowdown? Was it lagging?
one of the happiest days was when i found that METAL BLACK was released on ps5, what a great day it was. i have to disagree about ANDRO DUNOS, the music is insane good, especially level 1, it ranks hight, and i think it is one of the easier games. Gleylancer took me by surprise, insane to think it is a genesis game. Phelios should be on the list also, great game.
I have all these on Switch except Takotan and Natsuki Chronicles which id love to see on Switch one day Qute ported Eschatos to Switch so im hopeful they'll port Natsuki Chronicles and Ginga Force one day and Takotan looks pretty good maybe that'll get a Switch port maybe not id definitely play it if i could
@@Johnnygrafx you definitely need to play final 2 as well all the way through in my opinion it's like two different games the first three levels don't impress me much but after stage 4 it picks up in the gameplay and graphics department with its notorious difficulty
Loving the shmup content :) I'm surprised you didn't cover any of the M2 Shottriggers games (Battle Garegga, Ketsui Deathtiny, EspRaDe Psi), they are the best on the system (although strictly PS4 games rather than PS5 native.)
yes. buy a vastly underpowered 2014 era tablet that probably doesnt have access to around a third of the arcade classic shmups (could be wrong here). youre even bad at being an elitist, because if you had said "Steam Deck" id concede because you would get access to legit releases AND the never released on console games like Dimahoo. try harder next time
@@deadeyezayuh Honestly, I don't care that much about which system is best. I stopped with the PS4 and can care less about next gen systems as games are non existent or lack charisma and the fun factor. Now it's like having a car with 5000hp but the speed limit allowed to drive is still the same. Idk....I'm not an expert in video games as I used to play them just to have some fun.
Nice to see some modern shooters that are not just more Bullet-Hell games.

Yeah phelios is awesome. Still need to try Metal Black. That arcade archives collection is loaded with great shmups!

I haven't played final 3, but I remember not clicking well with final 2 that much so I've held off. Do you recommend it?

Yeah I do enjoy a bunch of M2 stuff but like you said it's mostly native PS4.
