Translation from Swedish of the text on the SEA carton. "In 1956, the glass furnaces at SEA glassworks were lit for the first time. Since then, decorative glass and gift items have been shaped and blown in the cabin without interruption. Glass as a material has always fascinated man. Hard and brittle. Soft and beautiful. Ever since the days of antiquity, respect has been great for those who can tame the glowing mass of glass. Our admiration is still great for the masters who shape the glass into beautiful art and practical objects. In the cabin, the tradition lives on. The glass is shaped manually in a fascinating teamwork. The craftsmanship remains at all stages and contributes to each piece of glass produced has its own form and personality. Like frozen moments of time." All Love from Sweden
Hi from Sweden. SEA is the namn of a glassworks established in 1956. More modern than Orrefors and Kosta. The text on the back of the box is just about the historia of SEA. Good buy! Bye from Sweden
Interesting that you mentioned the Goodwill "campers." There has been a lady at the Goodwill near me almost every time I've gone in there. I go twice a week. At first, I thought she and I just happened to pick the same days to shop. Then, I thought she might work there when she was helping a lady who fainted due to the heat outside. Recently, I realized she was there every day for hours waiting for the carts to come out. She really pounces on the carts before they have even quit moving. I love the term "camper" because that is what she does!!
What a Great Ending with Hank And Juliet and your Daddy! Looks like a Beautiful day! Laurel growing up so quick!!! You are so Blessed! Andrew just Compliments You ALL!!! Ashton is Going be the tallest in the family. He is so Handsome. Nothing but the BEST! GOD is GOOD!
At 2:45 the sleeping cat is House Of Lloyd, Christmas Around The World and it came with a little oval wicker cat-bed-basket with a Christmassy soft bed inside and the cat lays upon it. I've had mine since I was a House Of Lloyd hostess back in the 80s. I still put it out every year.
Jocelyn, your Dad turned and smiled at you and I swear, I have never seen a parent and child to look more like each other than both of you did in that moment. Now I know for sure where you got your fabulous smile and laugh from. The washer / dryer debacle is hilarious 😂. When Juliette rounded the corner on the tractor I nearly passed out from laughing - she is her mother's daughter for sure. What a super cool little girl 💕💕
I have a trivet like the one you picked up today and mine is scratched also because my kids when they were little used to turn it upside down on the kitchen floor and spin on it.
I love it when you film from your home. Good to see Andrew and the baby together, your dad always popping in. And Juliet was so proud of herself, and she drove that little lawnmower/tractor up the driveway. Wonderful memories.
I Love when you go home and I get to see the cutee patootie baby Laurel. Such a little angel and she wanted her momma. Juliette is your mini me, been watching you for years and shes growing up so fast, pretty young lady. Thank you for sharing!!
03:49 It'd seem that was someone else's fave trivet as well, so much wear on the Lucite. 04:30 That's a different item, anyway. Too bad I'd bust it all to pieces using it. 04:41 We can always hope. 07:53 Hah! Relish tray? Tidbit tray? There's no foot so it can't be a cake stand (unless some Bright Young Thing at this G'will taped it together wrong way up). 08:23 Yep! Defo a tea-light stand. 09:53 Good ol' Google Translate ... "In 1956, the glass furnaces at SEA Glasbruk were lit for the first time. Since then, decorative glass and gift items have been blown and shaped in the studio without interruption. "Glass as a material has always fascinated man. Hard and brittle. Soft and beautiful. In endless variations and shifts. Even though the glass really only consists of molten sand. "Ever since the days of antiquity, great respect has been won for those who can tame the glowing mass of glass. Our admiration is still great for the masters who shape the glass into beautiful art and practical objects. "In the studio, the tradition lives on. The glass is shaped manually in a fascinating teamwork. The craftsmanship remains in all stages and contributes to the fact that each piece of glass produced has its own shape and personality. As frozen moments of time." 13:27 Honestly, the painting's so poor, especially around the eyes, that I wouldn't have 'em if you gave 'em away with a pound of tea. (The charm of indifferent craftsmanship largely passes me by.) 15:36 Now that is an enormous improvement on the hog-wire "burning basket" my grandparents used to have in the Sixties for incinerating their trash. (Their house was just outside the city limit, so they didn't have city water-and-sewer or garbage collection.) The burning basket was the place where I learned what happens when you pitch an empty can of Aqua Net hair spray onto a fire. 19:00 At that rate, by the time Juliette's sixteen all you'll have to do to get her driving is teach her how to work a clutch. And before that you can have her spelling Andrew and Ashton, mowing the lot. (Yeah, it needs the emergency brake set.) 19:57 Guava-pear-strawberry doesn't sound bad, even to this ol' geezer. (I wonder whether it'd work better if you deleted the pears?) 21:22 Hm! I need to go diggin' round in my copy of MasterCook then, and see what kinda winter soups I could find ya to share. Unfort'nitly, the winter soup season in Texas isn't long.
Watching your daughter drive the John Deere tractor was priceless. Those are the type of memories that will stay with her for a lifetime. Father's and Grandfather's help build a child's self esteem. It's a good thing. Peace love happiness 2023
I had a pressed flower trivet in the 70’s when we were newlyweds. I loved all that cool stuff. It was so my style. Love watching you, Jocelyn. You’re so smart and knowledgeable about vintage items.
Jocelyn, the Lucite Flower Trivet…..we had that Exact one growing up back around 1969. In Dallas, Tx. Brought back so many memories of it sitting on our dining table. It was used everyday with our family of 6. Good Catch!
You crack me up! You use the immersion blender by immersing it into the soup to "blend" it. The soup looks delicious. I think I'll make some too but mine comes in a carton. 🤣🤣🤣
Good job Juliette....love your spirit of adventure and willingness to work!💗And,your capacity for pure Joy! Never forget to have some Joy y'all...doesn't cost a thing!🥰
The LEGOS! My husband is a LEGO maniac also. His favorite build was a Millennium Falcon, his biggest build (to date) Hogwarts Castle and his least favorite was Yoda. Too many green bits he said.
I like the 'different looking" bunny children, I'd have scooped them up too. That family was pretty darn cute, but so are your kids. Laurel is very entertaining
You have inspired me to look for colorful odds and ends pots, canisters, or containers for planting herbs. Once I opened up to acceptable options I found 6 or so affordable planters. One is even a less than perfect Hull large vase for $6.00. Perfect for a planter
I have three Czech divided dishes in different sizes that are candlestick duplicates. In three beautiful colors. And Ballerina were similar to Russel Wright dishes back in the 50’s (darker colors). The trivet will blend well with your yellow accessories in your new kitchen!
It's a great GW day when you get two crazy eyed bunny people..lol 🐰 😆 🤣 😂 😹. I was hoping you would get the light up Christmas piece. I hope you tell us more about the sea pieces..love to find out more. I so wish our GW was better.. 🤔 did the family get the washer / dryer home? Great seeing all your family..miss my dad everytime your dad is on. He seems like the best dad.Treasure him! Love to all !
15 min jasmine rice and raw or pre cooked shrimp to the soup and boil for a few mins. You have shrimp and butternut squash curry with jasmine rice on the side. Never tried making butternut squash soup/curry. Maybe I shall try.
You have the funniest life EVER LOL hank squawking in the background, kids on tractors, people everywhere OMG I just love it. Thanks for sharing. And yes Facebook mkt place can drive u insane😂
I'm not sure if you will have any more whatnot sales past January 22, but I just wanted to remind you that Valentine's Day Is February 14th which is less than a month away if you want to remind people that you have all kinds of wonderful items on Ebay that would make wonderful gifts for viewers.
Cooking tip 👍 Cheats version to roast the pumpkin for your soup. Start with a little oil in the pot and put the pumpkin and onions and extra veggies in and stir it around until the pumpkin and onions get colour on it them. add your stock and whatever else you put into your recipe. We call it 'burnish' the pumpkin in Australia. Makes cooking time a lot less and just as tasty ☺️
You are a saint!! I KNOW those campers knew you were trying to see the “wine” artwork and that you only had 1 hand to use!! How do you maintain such composure when people are so rude???? Loved the video but loved all the “after” even more!! You should have a TV show!!❤️
😻 Thank you for sharing family time. It's a nice change from shop, shop, shopping& sell, sell, selling. YA. Your dad teaching sis to run the farm😁 PRICELESS

The cat with mouse curl up together, I have that, your missing two pieces. It's a Christmas item, a pet basket with a plaid Christmas cushion, it's a beautiful piece! .

Thank-you very much!
Not all heroes wear capes! Thank you!
Oh wow! Ty! Very interesting!❤❤❤
Beautiful 😍 knowledge TY!
Bravo!
If you are feeling crafty, you can pour a thin coat of clear resin over that trivit. It's self leveling and will fill in the scratches.
So very nice that your Dad helps you out. You are very lucky to have the parents you have.
I look forward to your videos every day. I'm a disabled, retired nurse and you make me laugh every day. Love your home videos also. ☺️

Tusen tack!
I come for the thrifting but I stay for the time spent with your adorable family. 😁
I’m lovin’ the lifestyle content! ❤
Me too! My fave and she’s so generous to share them with us ❤️
Your dad and Sis make a good team. So good to have your parents close by.
The Sea Glasbruk Glass Sculpture are Moai Renate Kosta, should have a etched signature. valued around $50-70.
Omggg I CANNOT with baby Laurel.. she is TOO CUTE! And becoming more vocal and expressive.. I miss that stage!
Watching Sissy climbing on that tree made me miss being little and the fun of climbing trees ☺️
Watching your dad with your kids really makes me miss my dad! But I love watching your videos with the family at home!!

Oh no the bunnys!! Juliette is quite the driver and Laurels face eating was great. Soup looked good.

Laurel is just the cutest. I miss those baby smiles days. Enjoy each moment ❤️
23:26 Baby Yoda! What was that? A toy? I love The Mandalorean and totally taken with Grogu.
Juliette, you did a terrific job riding the mower. ❤️. Baby Laurel is such a cutie pie, and Ashton is getting so tall.
Sissy is bound for great things! She's always so positive and helpful and adventurous! I just love her enthusiasm!

Thanks to you, Jocelyn, I spotted a Dedham pottery cat today. I couldn’t put it in my cart fast enough…💕
You could try some car headlight cleaner / de-hazer to polish the scratches out of that flower trivet. 🚘
3:30 -I have that Angel! She came in a pair my grandmother gave me that she said was from the 60’s
The ones I have are blue and white. Would love to know when it’s listed to get the red one!
I really enjoy your footage at home. Such a lovely family.
So glad you shared your family with us today. I love watching you thrift Jocelyn. ❤️

Butternut squash, chicken broth, cut fried bacon topped with parmesan cheese. My favourite winter/fall soup.
Your family moments are the best, thanks for sharing with yes

Way to go fearless Juliette! Your dad is such a great daddy and grandpa. And I think the Swedish glass is going to be great.
Used to see Kost Boda glass snowballs in Goodwill all the time years ago now I haven't seen them for awhile.
Those bunnies are hilarious. I’m glad you saved them.
4:06 I wonder if you could use a car compound kit to buff out the scratches. That or maybe one of those car headlight cleaner kits.
The bunny kids are grotesquely fabulous!!! They are creepy weirdos and I’m into it! 😳
Baby Laurel wants to talk! Too cute!
I have three Czech divided dishes in different sizes that are candlestick duplicates. In three beautiful colors. And Ballerina were similar to Russel Wright dishes back in the 50’s (darker colors). The trivet will blend well with your yellow accessories in your new kitchen!
Love the 2 angels. I'm glad you found both of them

Juliette's driving is awesome!! Baby Laurel wasn't too sure about that baby food tho...

I absolutely LOVE the bunny ladies. I swear it's Lucille Ball and Ethel Mertz! I want them sooo bad! They are so freaking CUTE!
How lovely of you to not only take us Shopping but into your home for Family time very special Thankyou xx
Enjoyed today's look into the more private side of your lives. That Baby ! She's Lil Andrew.
I love Laurel’s expressions.
...especially the fish face. Looks like she has the "blow out a candle" skill in the bag!
I am amazed that you have never seen Ballerina dinnerware. It is from the 50's and I see it around my area all the time

Central Missouri is out of Children Advil and such. We ran into empty shelves about a week ago. We too found Children Chewables at a gas station.
Texas is also having a shortage of Tylenol! We have friends looking for my granddaughters. Finally found some.
How we love your precious family and animals! So nice

Love the flowered trivet! Another great video. Loved seeing Laurel & Andrew.

Hi have you tried adding roasted garlic and peppers to your sweet potato soup - yum! x
You already got some info about Sea Glasbruk Glass. The name Sea came from the initials of the three owners surnames,Inge Samuelsson,Sven Ernstsson and Tore Andersson.
I was trying to find the piece you found but I couldn’t,I am sorry.🙏🏻😊
I thought it was so funny how Laurel and Andrew rejected the strawberry food!😂
I love your dog! I had a bluetick coonhound named Earl Bob and he was the best.
So glad you bought the bunny girls! Perfect for What Not...
Lol, I think the word you were looking for is emulsify. I was cracking up. That happens to me far too frequently. 😂
The little fireplace would look on your mantel for Christmas. Gail D.
I like that too, even though it's kinda kitzchy. Lol.
Nice haul Jocelyn! That czech glass platter that you looked at is known as a Czech Boule. I belong to a Candlewick group and took it over there and this is what they told me. Mine Glows! I'm learning more as well about Candlewick, it really is hard to distinguish it from other pieces but they told me the more authentic pieces I have the easier it will become to know the difference.
You always find such cool treasures 🤑 and sharing your family is so sweet!!!
??? Was that a McKenzie child platter ( at 1:42) ? . Maybe not probably not
Love the Angels😍 I really enjoy the family videos! Juliet hanging out with grandpa💜 Andrew and Laurel are so cute together but she definitely has your eyes. Andrew cracked me up trying the baby food.😂 and look at you cooking some fancy things!👩🍳
I always had luck putting Good tasting fruits on the tip of the spool. So meal on spoon and dipped it in a sweet fruit! All goes to the same belly! 😊
I saw that sleeping cat and mouse in a previous video and thought you should buy it. I have the same one. I got it in the early 80's. It came from one of those home decorator places that did in home sales. Someone at the office had a party and got it for me as a gift. It came with a little basket/bed for them to sleep in. The cat with mouse curl up together, I have that, your missing two pieces. It's a Christmas item, a pet basket with a plaid Christmas cushion, it's a beautiful piece! .
No wonder she likes to spend so much time with her grandparents.😼
Love that Hank!!!
He’s a nut. How could you not? 😂
The shelves at this Goodwill are so bare, the shelves here in Calif. have piles and piles and piles of crap on every shelf. You cannot see any part of the shelf bottom.
I am not a fan of marketplace either. I get my son-in-law to do it!
I used to have to hide lots of veggies. You can hide a lot in burgers and meatloaf!!!
I so love the Angels. Sweet.
We have the same dog. He did come from the north east before I adopted him.
