  • This ASMR Sleep Hypnosis will help you to overcome fear, anxiety and panic and replace it with peace, calm and relaxation. In particular we will look at managing your fear of this experience or your fear of fear, as this can often become a problem in itself. I am a doctor of clinical psychology and I have used this technique to help many of my patients to feel calmer and more confident in their ability to manage anxiety, panic and fear.

I am the Lead Clinical Psychologist at The British CBT & Counselling Service and find that I am often the first person with whom my patients share significant and intimate thoughts and memories. I feel at ease being a therapist, I feel I can empathise with people’s distress and discomfort but don’t feel overwhelmed by it, I can understand their problem and know how to help, it has always just felt like what I should be doing.

The fear of fear is often the biggest fear of all and if we can become more comfortable with the experience itself it generally becomes less of a problem......I've just read this back and it sounds like a riddle, maybe this is appropriate, our fears, worries and anxiety do tend to tie us up in knots sometimes!

the pace and rhythm of your speaking is immaculate, I get almost as strong a sensation from the anticipation as from the sounds themselves.

As stupid as it sounds I’ve been watching a lot of Criminal Minds and it’s been making me scared to go to sleep. I have closets on 3 out of 4 walls, and I’m terrified that someone or something might pop out of them. The show has made me somewhat afraid that there could be anyone around to hurt me. Thank you for helping me finally achieve a *good* sleep.

I’m sorry for that! Off topic, but it’s a great show so I know why you’re watching it. I’m watching for the second time and so far I’m on S11

Bruh I had the exact same thing happen with the same show 🥲 it’s hard to stop watching because it’s so good though! I made a rule for myself to only watch during the day, only one or two eps at a time, and not too many times per week.

I have been experimenting with lucid dreaming and I keep wake up-looping into nightmares so now I‘m terrified to fall asleep. Thank you for this video, I hope it‘ll help me rest

Emma - I hope you and your family are all safe and healthy, and that you are taking some time for OWN mental health. Make sure you’re not the best barber 💈 but with the worst hair of your own etc (okay bad example - your hair (hare) is always stellar!). We are all so very blessed to have your expertise & talents at our fingertips. Thank you. 🙏

I’m making your channel my new normal ASMR video I fall asleep to. I’m excited to learn things too as I fall asleep! This specific video I’m watching through multiple times through this week, seeding the thoughts into my subconscious mind. Thanks for all you do!

Are there any Supernatural fans out there who believe that ASMR Psychologist may be the British version of Danneel Ackles (Jensen Ackles' wife)? Every time I watch her ASMR videos, I think Danneel moonlights as an ASMRtist. Either way, your whispers are so relaxing, Doc!

I just had a panic attack today from seeing a giant spider ( it was a wolf spider. But my arachnophobia made me believe it to be alot bigger then it was.Either way it was huge.)
Even though i know its dead. I have been horrified that im going to wake up to a eolf apider right beside me, crawling on me, or in my room again. So ive been refusing to sleep. So im hoping this works.
