Amanda, thank you for being real and for creating so much content. I can only imagine that can be exhausting for you. This is the meal that I have almost every day. It keeps me full all day, and I am rarely famished at the end of my fast. I used your framework to create a meal that I love and can make on the bad days and enjoy just as much on the good days. I use a bag, usually 16oz of slaw more some days, 4-5 oz of chicken or any meat that I usually prepare once a week and freeze in the correct portions, 2 Tb of extra crunchy peanut butter, a small handful of raw cashews 1/4 cup, some liquid aminos, a spicy chili/ garlic sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder (measured with my heart). I may add a bunch of finely chopped celery or peppers on the good days for crunch or green onions if I feel fancy. All logged by weight, it works out to between 850 and 1000 cal, which is the deficit that I am shooting for to get to my goals.
My go to meal on keto is cabbage and sausage. I fry it all up together in a bit of avocado oil. Then I put a lid on it and steam it (no water) on low for ten minutes. I make it in a huge double batch for two days (omad) and probably eat it 4 times a week. Keeping things simple helps me. I lost 30 lbs in 4 months. I'm adding all the seasonings you mentioned to create this egg roll in a bowl version. It looks delicious! P.S. Is this your actual kitchen? I LOVE it!!!!!
OH MY! I absolutely LOVE this dish! Not only am I impressed, so is hubby - the typical male meat eater who doesn't typically seek out veggies! Thank You!
I have been making something similar. I add a little sesame seed oil and dried pepper flakes after it’s done cooking. So good! Some call it crack cabbage😂
You've got a little bit of old school Julia Child vibe in your imperfect videos. I LOVE IT!!! Your ideas are great and more than anything REALISTIC! Thank you
Love your videos. How real you are. You speak to my heart. I’m constantly talking to myself and making fun and laughing by myself. My husband thinks I’m nuts. 😂😂😂 Seeeee. I’m not the only fun weirdo. 💕
I've made egg role cassarole (crack slaw) for years Google it, so good. Double the recipe. Sriracha, ginger paste, green onion chopped, Soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, garlic, Hamburger.
You're definitely going to want to split it up. We have a "Bariatric Bears" community in Facebook that you can find after joining the main Eat Like a Bear Stories group. Splitting a meal like this is the common strategy. Some people also have additional protein
Love how you added the BRUH!!! lol my kid literally says it allday long 😂😂😂😂

You are so funny!
I would use liquid aminos in place of soy sauce.
Yes, I think that's what I used in this video.
I use that too!
Where do you find your pre-chopped cabbage?
Carrot cake made me fat but not raw carrots. Thanks mama bear.

Love egg roll in a bowl.
I had the Gastric Bypass 15 yrs. ago. What if you can't eat a big meal?

You're lucky. I had a gastric bypass 21 years ago, and I can eat huge amounts of food. 😔
What about cooking eggplant
audio not good - can't hear it
Needs more fat and protein for sure. And that isn’t soy sauce but the superior Braggs Liquid Aminos. But good easy recipe.
Have some cheese separately and get some calcium! Or a glass of kefir, I put sugarfree coffee syrup, fruit flavor, in mine.
Why is called Egg Roll there's no egg please be kind I'm from the UK 🇬🇧
It’s the filling in an egg roll from a Chinese restaurant
