Superb video Jim , really enjoyed that . Much more interesting and entertaining than the big production films from the tackle and bait companies . Raw , pioneering Carp fishing at its best 👍👍👏
Great watch mate, amazing carp in those French rivers and canals. Look really well kept too, no litter or shopping trolleys 😂. Look forward to next adventure 👍🎣
Awesome Jim! Lovely fish as always, love those canal stretches, they really do hold some jems there. Glad to see you and shaz are doing well, keep up the great videos man 👍🤘
Cracking carping trilogy Jim, some strong fit fish, tell us more about your wooden ball hookbaits. Another addictive adventure for you two. Great stuff. Many thanks.
Cheers Danny 👏🏻😀 I’ve been using the wooden balls when fishing in the crayfish infested waters. The Crays were even trying to eat my tiger nuts so I had to try something different. The soaked in food source wooden balls have been doing ok but the jury is still out on them 🎣
See you’ve got a Cobb Jim…..they’re great. I’ve done a Christmas dinner in mine. Gourmet food on the bank. Well done on the fishing…..effort equals reward !!
Great video again jim..I enjoy these as much as I do going fishing myself 👍. I'm off for a couple of weeks now to a couple of public lakes in creuse and maybe the river creuse for a couple of days..Once again great video and keep them coming mate.
Cheers Stephen, that’s a top thing to say & much appreciated 👏🏻👍🏻 I’ve never fished the river Creuse but have heard good things about it. Hope you catch from it mate 🎣
Excellent vid mate only found your vids by chance thinking of targeting a canal or river in France for a long weekend any tips on research locations areas to start looking. Familiar with carte peche I need but happy to research don't need direct spots but where do you start the research to target the endless rivers and canals would be helpful cheers mate
Cheers Davvers, I’m always looking for unfished areas & uncaught carp so there’s never no info out there. If there was I would look to avoid it 😀 All mine is just by cycling & walking the towpaths & fishing likely areas..very hard if you’re just popping over or on restricted time frames. Virtually all canals & rivers in France will hold carp. You will always get a few carp around lock gates as there is inevitably more oxygen around these features as the water rushes through when operated. Hope you find a few & catch 👍🏻🎣
Cracking fishing my mate! As always great to see a fellow salfordian, love your style of no frills old school producing some cracking specimens! Well done pal Ps…. Are you in France full time or just visit regularly?
6 day adventure, your living the life Jim.
Cheers Chris..giving it my best shot 😍👍🏻🎣

Great watch Jim - that last common seemed to have a lovely pink tinge - would that be from the crays ?
Cheers Andrew, yes mate deffo result of a crayfish diet. There’s loads of them in the canal & they are bright red 🦞🎣👍🏻
