Like NOBODY shows the actual wiring and I can't mirror link using the instructions... I mean people made videos to show you what the radio walks you through... Nobody has advice on how to fix it when it doesn't work... Infuriating...
I think it's for ancient phones that nobody has no more with old ass operating systems because I bought one too and it don't hook up to mirror link at all and I'm a mechanic who used to be a car stereo installation tech.
Can somebody help me i got s9+ the mirror screen has been worked out for me but i have found another issue that when i rotate youtube or my screen to landscape mode..it wont show full screen..the image is landscape but it looks like be cropped as portrait screen..what should i do?

It has an icon for miror on the home screen but nothin happens when I press it. It also sometimes freezes so it even doesnt turn off with ignition switch like it shoul, stays on and drains the batt -i had to install a hiden kill switch for that because It hapens 1 of5 uses.

Ok it took me a while to figure it out but you have to turn off the window mode so when you back out of youtube it doesnt go into window mode. If it goes into window mode it bugs the unit out and will only be a small square when you rotate it

@@wackykoy Ive found out that my s9+ doesnt work because it has android 9 on it. My S7edge on the other hand, with android 8, does mirrorlink. You have to dothe debug story, and what i found out, turn your display settings to basic. That should get it to work, at least it did for me. :)

Only a few phones recognize mirror link. If you don't have a compatible phone it won't work. Look up "Mirror Link compatible Phones".
