As an NRA instructor myself, I enjoy how you two worked together as a team for this instructional video. It was also quite informative that each movement that was demonstrated was given a clear explanation of why it was done that way. Examples of what could happen to cause issues and how they are overcome by these techniques was quite valuable. Very well done! Kudos... Carry on.
As an older gal who was thought basic shooting skills from her husband, Kim’s view from a female stand is most helpful. The step by step details you both bring up is very instructive. Your both doing a wonderful service for us all. Thank you so very much. 🌺👏🍦
Hey Kim, just wanted to throw this out to you that you & Neil have very helpful videos of training methods for the “drawing from concealments techniques” & glad that both of you guys always have fun with each other every day of not just on the training methods but just having fun together, lol 😂. Also you’re a very beautiful young lady Kim as well & how Neil trains you on those techniques are very helpful and I also send them to my dad as well that we both are here soon gonna will be taking classes for the “Carry Permits” & with your videos are very helpful, thank you sweetheart and thank you Neil 👍🤝.
The thumb riding down against the body when drawing the pistol is probably some of the best advice Ive heard from any instructor or firearm channel. I just need to get my girl to become more comfortable and experienced with firearms and hopefully a ccw one day. I would feel a lot more relieved when Im not with her and the kids.
this is why I love you guys! it goes against what a lot of places teach but it make perfect sense ....and it works. my wife Kim was practicing along with Kim. good job guys!
Clear explanation of the process AND the reasons for the process. As a new CCW, this is invaluable and helps make practice more productive. Great job as always GFA!
Great video! Good discipline with drawing hand not engaging the trigger when holstering/unholstering. Keep making the videos, it definitely helps the community.
Good stuff. Maybe a bit advanced for starters, but I was taught in law enforcement to get the barrel pointed down range as soon as it clears the holster. That way, you come out fightin', just incase everything ends up in arms reach.
I️ had a question that I️ forgot to ask. I️ usually wear durable button up shirts that aren’t too flexible. I️ already use my firing hand for the initial garment movement. I️ pull straight up and secure with off hand but sometimes my shirt either catches the rear sights, or the pistol grip since it isn’t very flexible. Are there any tips on that other than purchasing a larger shirt?
Luchi _ make sure you are pulling it up high enough and practice. If that doesn't work, then you may need a bigger shirt when wearing that material. Hope that helps -Kim
I have to say it - your content is just awesome, well thought out and very informative. I am tickled I found your channel and I wish you were in Arkansas. But I need to point something out. You can see the love in Kim's eyes when she's looking at Neil at 0:41. If only more ladies knew how to love out loud like that. I thank God my wife is that way, and I'm gratified to see that Kim is, too. Good on ya both!
Great vid! You’re just perfect for the job...we kindda always think bout’ guys doing the “by the numbers” drill. This brings reality to the vid! (2) thumbs up guys!
Wow, what an excellent point to make about the thumb contact! I appreciate that! Thanks!!! By the way, should I say something to Neil about his tugging and stuff on your fashions like that? Seems, I don't know, a bit rudeish, yeah? Betcha he wouldn't like it if'n you got some sort of -ish with his stuff!!!

Thanks Todd! Glad to help 👍
She has very fluid movements on that draw, like a reflex ,doesn''t even require thought. Impressive!
09F150 thank you! A lot of practice. 😊

Steel Punisher 69 always great to hear from you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wife and father! Stay safe ☺
Great tip about the thumb against the body. Many of us wear shirts tucked-in over the firearm and this helps keep the shirt from inhibiting the draw.
touring3d thanks for watching, glad you found it helpful

Also, stay strong and don't be afraid to fight someone off! A gun doesn't do you any good if you're pinned down and can't get to it!
J R GREAT point. I was also taught that way.
Great tip primarily during cold weather to use your thumb on body garment until good purchase and draw.
allamerican thank you for watching and commenting! 👍

I️ apologize for the way TH-cam put question marks instead of my “I️”. I️ didn’t meant for it to come out funny.
