I forgot to mention this in the video, but this trick also applies to the Dreamless Echo farming. Always farm this domain on the LOWEST Difficulty IF you are just going for the Echo drop, since the Echo Drop Rates are PURELY based on your Data Bank Level. Also don't forget, you can eat food in the overworld, so if your characters are still not strong enough to 1-shot the mobs, eat some cheap Skewers or other cheap ATK foods! We have to craft them every week anyway for the weekly quest, might as well put them to good use Currently, there also appears to be a 'hidden pity' for Echo Farming. For bosses, if you don't get a Boss Echo drop, the next one has a very high chance to drop. For elites, if you don't get an Elite Echo drop in 3 kills, the next one has a very high chance to drop.
Did you know that you can garantee echo drop because there is a pity to it. elite -> after 3 elite didnt drop you are 100% getting an echo boss -> after 1 didnt drop 1cost -> no pity you can therefore farm your desired set using this info (or just go in a friend world endlessly) Enjoy the grind
The only issue with this is people with goldfish brain (like me) will forget the lowered world level and start farming tacet fields, forgery, bosses, etc 😅

One thing you didnt mention and is the most important, is a video that KokkyGacha did. There is a pity system for echo drops. Every 4th kill, youre guranteed to get an echo drop. So thats why when some people sre farming echos and theyre doing the tracking, theyll go kill the echo theyre looking for, then see another next to it and kill those and get an echo drop, then go to the next location of the one they want, not get a drop and do the same thing again. Which can make it feel like you farm forever and arent getting the echo tou want to drop, but its cause youre ruining your pity. So as people are farming, if they keep track in their head, they can gurantee the one they want to drop. It doesnt gurantee itll be 5*, but it might. So if you kill one, no drop, then kill two more 3 cost echos and still dont see drop, go directlt to the echo you want and itll gursntee you get one. Now you can definitely get one before the 4th kill and sometimes get doubles, etc, but if you hit the dry spell, you will 100% get one on the fourth kill. Same goes for bosses. If you kill Thundering Mephist and dont get a drop, the next boss you fight, is guranteed to drop. So when you fight a boss and dont get a drop, go directly to the boss you want and you will. The normal bosses share a pool and so do the weeklies. So if you want dreamless to drop, go back and forth fighting the turtle and dreamless. Again, all credit for this goes to KokkyGacha. Mtashed even made a video and showed the whole process and it worked 100% of the time.
one important thing - there's actually a limit on how many resources you can get from farming mobs (I guess I farm them that much to see it huh). So technically you lose out on some resources if you hit the limit, but echos are definitely a lot more valuable.
thanks for all of your hard work..! i've never lowered world level before in another game before but with the way this works, this trick has made farming echoes super convenient for me just go around and chop chop chop enemies super fast and speed through the world with double rider dreamless setups smacking enemies down

before you do this, make sure to use your waveplates because you can't access lvl 60 forgery challenges, and all waveplate activities are reduced rewards.

Good insight, but lowering your world means less rewards (currency, materials, etc..) which is not good if you have played Genshin and experienced the "grinding" of the samurai or flying bubbles. I would instead keep the SOL phase to farm both echoes and materials at the same time.
Hey I just noticed this last night, when trying to coop with my brother. I tried lowering my world level and realised the echo drops are o ly affected by Data bank level 😊
Am I unlucky if almost all my Echo drops range mostly from 2-3* and rarely 4* after lowering my WL ? Or the droprate isn't only affected by the databank
OOOOOMALORD this is game changing, me as an fp2 player so I save resources as much as possible. that is why I have low level echos even tho I main that certain character. lower the world level helped a lot in challenging cost-4 echos and having a portable waypoint closer to the boss helps me cycle 3 or maybe even 4 world bosses
Lets say you are data bank 21 and you were required to be at a certain world lv to unlock that....if you go back down in world level will you still keep the 100% on 5 Stars or will purples start to drop again?
considering how bad my luck has been with substat rng and boss main drop(had to kill money 74 times to get gold crit rate, got 5 purple crit rate in the process) I'm just gonna hold out on optimizing the best echos right now. Tacet fields should give more resources at the next world rank and so i'd rather use my limited energy on permanent progression tasks like getting ascension mats or forte upgrade resources. i spent 2 days worth of resourceson tacet fields and realized that maybe only 60% of the rewards actually went into my characters permanently, rest just got recycled to a lower amount because of substat rng. I feel like making permanent progress at this stage of the game is much better than min maxing end game echos, just my two cents.

Wouldn't make sense. The ability to lower down your world level is there because of the simple reason that not every single person levels up their characters correctly or beneficently, so this way they prevent a "soft lock" for those players, just in case they are literally uncappable of progressing further because of their lack of resources or power. If they nerf it, they would shoot themselves in the leg, cause not every single player is a tryhard like us watching these videos to farm correctly, most of the community are actually pretty casual players who just want to click click kill kill and that's ok.
If you only play once a day it would work exactly the same, you only need to switch your world level once a day. The only thing that changes is if you farm overworld or spend your stamina first or second.

Dreamless doesn't have a reset timer so you can go right back in if you kill dreamless fast enough.

I tried this after stream yesterday and I was zoooming! Plus you can use your wip chars or your Ambers without it being a chore.

After 60 of the tortoises i only got one purple one with Healing Bonus on it. Is there a trick to get Echos with Healing Bonus or Energy Recharge??
I did this method to get to data bank 15 cause when i hit 30 i wasn't data 15. the monsters were giga cause all my stuff was unleveled :3

If they nerf it, they would shoot themselves in the leg, cause not every single player is a tryhard like us watching these videos to farm correctly, most of the community are actually pretty casual players who just want to click click kill kill and that's ok.
the items mobs drop get worse tho right? so ultimately you'd want to be able to farm on highest difficulty but for now this is great
If you only play once a day it would work exactly the same, you only need to switch your world level once a day. The only thing that changes is if you farm overworld or spend your stamina first or second.

@@radlaw3476Havoc Rover is insanely strong, probably the strongest free character we have. Spectro Rover is more sub DPS/support, Havoc is pure DPS.
