I remember some comments from a month ago i think that some players wanted to send feed back about them wanting them to take some break. It is quite awesome tbh.
i personally did on the last survey at the end, doesn't cost much to just say thanks for listening and working hard for our enjoyment, and since we know that they actually DO get feedback on our surveys it's just a nice gesture to keep them motivated and proud of their work, i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one that did it
Time will come when "Devs listen" would be one of the major driving forces for players to stick to a gacha game When more fun and quality games come out like Azur Promilia,NTE,Mugen,End Field, Duet Night Abyss etc. people would find fun in all these games but since there's a lot they'd probably stick to the game where they mostly get what they want. That's where the "devs listen" and are actively involved with their community would get the advantage. Although the "devs listen" won't apply to the members of the Hoyo cult in Genshin as they worship Hoyo and that game regardless if the devs listen or not, no other gacha game is or would be better than Genshin ever for them so no amount of "devs listen" would matter to them lmao
I sent in two requests for incredibly minor things and they both went through. I assume it wasn't just me that sent this feedback, but it did make me feel like they were listening to me. 1: In 1.1 Mt. Firmament nexuses wouldn't heal the player while loading in; I requested that the player be put slightly closer to the nexus. Not sure if that's the fix they did, but the beacons do heal you automatically now. 2: When buying multiple items from an NPC shop they would say their "thank you" line every single time and even cut off the line and restart it if you buy multiple items quickly. I requested that there be about a 5 second cooldown on the NPCs repeating their line. NPC shopkeepers no longer spam their thank you voice line while you are shopping.
I would like to thank you for actually caring enough to give feedback on your 2nd point. Those NPC lines was obnoxious af but i didnt care enough to give feedback on that lmao

Maybe we should collectively wish for the next database update to have a echo to echo XP item converter. The drawback is that it doesn't help level up the database itself and it can only convert around 20-30 echos into XP items daily. This way players who are later into the game aren't plagued by too many diminishing returns in the echo department. Plus gating it behind a database level means you'll still need to spend more time exploring for newer echos. It'll drive the incentive more.
WuWa is still far from perfect and got lots of room to improve. However, they never fail to surprise me on how fast they responds and improve. Still waiting for the update on echo exp drop rates or echo adjustments 👏
I got that same feeling of recognition as well. Asked for more co op gameplay on all the surveys, next thing I know we're getting co op gameplay events two patches in a row! Loving this game and company, think I will try PGR as well.
"for the rest of the gacha" more like for former genshin players. genshin is the only gacha game i played that dont listen to their playerbase, at least not to the global playerbase. its not like wuwa is special for listening, most wuwa player are just former genshin players and thats why "devs listening" is new to them but its really not the whole gacha industry that does not listen.
Genshin after 4 years of goofing around, suddenly they now realize how powerful the "Devs listened" dynamic with your player base is, now they're trying to whip out that good boi card. This is not even about wuwa even, their own other game received SO MUCH better vibe from player base just by acting well. Hell, they know they can't do shit with that anymore, so they even make another open world game RIGHT NOW, literally pulling the plug from genshin. Game ain't gonna EoS, but they will try the "devs listened" in their new game and probably stop trying here in genshin. The game right now is walking the same path as HI3, fucking up, trying to fix, not working, then move tf on to the next game. Eventually it will phase out of people mind and just become a distant memory, as with all gacha games that are old, but when it phase out with such reputation, people just don't want to think about it.
Some said "You can't hate something if you never loved that thing before" That hit me like crazy. I kinda hate what genshin doing to their game for a long time, because I really love that game before Well I still play them now, didn't spent anything (ony ever spent some welkin for ayaka skins tbh) but I'm more focused when playing wuwa right now Usually I finished new content on genshin around 1-2 weeks after it launched, whatever it is a region, story, or limited time event. Now, genshin almost hit 5.1 and I barely finished exploration on natlan 😂 Goddamn, wuwa really did a good job to distract me from genshin and I love it 😂
i love that kuro is listening to us bc that is obviously a good thing but i could never sit here and pretend they care about me as a person and that its not about my money. they are listening to me bc they want my money 😭 and thats completely fine. im not gonna act like kuro is my friend or smth. some people in the fandom talk about gacha companies like its some parasocial relationship and not a business.. which is just weird idk.
I have been asking for years for a story skip function not because I dont hate the story of Genshin, but because listening to same NPCs for dailies over and over again is tiring. Why is that hard to understand?
I have played wuwa from day one, and recently picked genshin out of curiosity and im actually having a good time so far, I don't know why people hate so much on one game or the other, being that having competition makes both games better, your video makes really interesting points and I hope that your channel keeps growing.
The critical sentiment against Genshin are mostly from Day 1 veterans or older players. If you are one of those, you know how they always turn a blind eye and us players shouting towards deaf ears. For new players, it'll be fine as a game in itself. But I'd say the criticism is well-deserved. Even the recent Natlan QoL updates and inclusion of mobility options like Saurians are so mediocre when compared to the industry (WuWa and even ToF) but some players are acting like it's the second coming of christ.
the hate to GI comes from players that have been playing since launch or a little later than that, players that have been seeing the dumb things they could fix and yet decide to not do anything about it. Personally i think this people are way too dramatic, because if I don't like what a devs are doing with a game I stop playing, they have been crying every patch this whole year and we are in September almost October. They love to throw shade to other games that are doing good things that make their players good by playing the game. Right now the big annoyance they been crying are the qol behind a paywall, like the surf mechanic or the strings mechanic that they gave to the new characters, or the pet thingy locked in the new region. At this point I muted everything regarding GI because every patch is the same cry babies incapable of just having 2 braincells and do something instead of annoy the whole internet. And that's the reason I could never even go back to genshin, if the players that have been playing for years hate the game there's no point of even trying it.
@@jm8165 Yeah I got the shark girl (She was basically my whole reason to start playing) and while it's cool to explore the new region with her, in the other areas it feels kinda sluggish, like they just made her to be good in that one region, that's the only complain I got so far and hopefully they do something about it
@davidespinosa7824 That's kind of why I stopped playing genshin. After playing warframe, I couldn't stand how slow movement in genshin felt. Maybe they'll improve now that they have competition, but they're just as likely to just release more limited 5-stars that can move fast :p
Genshin feels more outdated and they don’t respect your time with the lacklustre rewards they give. Also for personally, I like the combat in Wuwa that feels like you’re actually fighting the enemy rather than Skill>Ult>Switch. I’ve completed most of the content in both games and I feel like my time has been better spent in Wuwa over my 3 years worth of Genshin gameplay
✨Kuro Devs listened✨ I’m a simple player. Treat your players right, make the game fun, make efforts to evolve the game. Do these 3 and you have my time and wallet. EZ.
Bro the hate only comes from 2 types of ppl first one which is.. I cant play wuwa on phone optimization is bla2 and another is genshin better wuwa is bla2 bad lore bad music bad (stop playing at 1.0 or not even playing but hating because of competition) ppl invested to their game way too much already and when their game got threatened they retaliate so even if they think wuwa looks better they wont want to know about it
W video now oli up excited for the future of wuthering waves and devs listened if you pretty much play games outside of the gacha market devs rarely listen to anyone most game devs or probably more likey the companies that run the games are out of touch though i think kuro and hoyoverse has done a good job at making us heard well in at least there other games KEEEPV PUSHING THE AGENDA NEVER STOP DEVS LISTENED no one knows the pain of being a 2k player
Genshin gained popularity bcs of Coronavirus, change my mind. There's nothing interesting in Genshin comparing to WuWa. The animations, gameplay, stupid elemental mechanics.
I mean during the coronavirus there wasn't a single open world gacha game on the mobile market with graphics and world like genshin everyone was still playing the stupid turn based sprite games like fgo and limited games like hi3 Genshin was literally the first open world gacha game on the market it's like pokemon so just like pokemon has competitors which people think are better than pokemon but ultimately pokemon was the first to do it Genshin is in a similar situation
At first, I was sure WuWa would surpass Genshin in a year, but now I'm certain it will take less than that. The only areas where I still think Genshin is better are the music and quality-of-life features, but that’s mainly because Genshin has been around for four years. Even so, WuWa's music is steadily improving. Honestly, I want to play both since I've already spent too much money on Genshin. WuWa is more for hardcore gameplay, while I play Genshin when I want something more casual. But with the Natlan content getting worse and requiring more time, as they seem to be intentionally making it harder to appeal to hardcore players, I’m starting to think I should leave the game completely. I simply don’t have the time to play games like I used to because of work. Genshin won’t improve much because they have to balance features between their three games. Plus, they have so many White Knights who will always defend them no matter how little they give to the players. Genshin is declining while HSR keeps improving. All the features that should be in Genshin go to HSR first, maybe for a year, before being given to Genshin. HSR is better than Genshin in almost every way, except that it’s not open-world.
The issue with hsr is that it “improves” in less places overall than genshin. It has more game modes yes but Relics are worse to farm even after the new change genshin got. It has a better gacha but as a whole there’s less pulls than in genshin The game suffers from the same issue if not worse at needing certain characters for teams to function. Lastly power creep is worse while they’re still keeping the genshin trend of 4 stars being significantly worse than 5 stars without buffing older units.
@@charginginprogresss there still good QOL that WuWa haven't have. Like minimap which can rotate that we can turn on and off. It's really helping for me at least which easy to lost. After seeing how many "devs listened" updates Kuro has been putting out, I knew investing in them was the right thing to do.
When a gamer developers listened to fan feedback. You know you are in good hand.
Some said "You can't hate something if you never loved that thing before"
That hit me like crazy. I kinda hate what genshin doing to their game for a long time, because I really love that game before
Well I still play them now, didn't spent anything (ony ever spent some welkin for ayaka skins tbh) but I'm more focused when playing wuwa right now
Usually I finished new content on genshin around 1-2 weeks after it launched, whatever it is a region, story, or limited time event. Now, genshin almost hit 5.1 and I barely finished exploration on natlan 😂
Goddamn, wuwa really did a good job to distract me from genshin and I love it 😂
Co-op boss raids is the one thing I've been suggesting/asking for since 1.1 and they're doing co-op hologram fights already in 1.3 🤩
i love that kuro is listening to us bc that is obviously a good thing but i could never sit here and pretend they care about me as a person and that its not about my money. they are listening to me bc they want my money 😭 and thats completely fine. im not gonna act like kuro is my friend or smth. some people in the fandom talk about gacha companies like its some parasocial relationship and not a business.. which is just weird idk.
I have been asking for years for a story skip function not because I dont hate the story of Genshin, but because listening to same NPCs for dailies over and over again is tiring. Why is that hard to understand?
Another dev that actually Listened. Gotta give that to Snowbreak dev. Those guy deserve more attention.
DaWei cried while drowning in cash😂
A certain open world gacha could never 😏
Is that a bad thing? The way kuro is moving theyll lap current day genshin in no time when it comes to Qol and care of their players.
✨Kuro Devs listened✨
I’m a simple player. Treat your players right, make the game fun, make efforts to evolve the game. Do these 3 and you have my time and wallet. EZ.
@@xyreanev2.067 agreed, 100 percent
Sales say better game >>> 'devs listen'
Crazy How zzz and hsr isn't like genshin, but both zzz and hsr devs are listening is it the company or is it the team behind the game 😂,
Same company so probably the team
Nice if we can clear mats dungeon multiple time like pgr it kinda take long
W devs ngl
I still play everyday by this reason😂
Bro the hate only comes from 2 types of ppl first one which is.. I cant play wuwa on phone optimization is bla2 and another is genshin better wuwa is bla2 bad lore bad music bad (stop playing at 1.0 or not even playing but hating because of competition) ppl invested to their game way too much already and when their game got threatened they retaliate so even if they think wuwa looks better they wont want to know about it
W dev
W video now oli up excited for the future of wuthering waves and devs listened if you pretty much play games outside of the gacha market devs rarely listen to anyone most game devs or probably more likey the companies that run the games are out of touch though i think kuro and hoyoverse has done a good job at making us heard well in at least there other games KEEEPV PUSHING THE AGENDA NEVER STOP DEVS LISTENED no one knows the pain of being a 2k player
Long term WW will rise up just like warframe
Genshin gained popularity bcs of Coronavirus, change my mind. There's nothing interesting in Genshin comparing to WuWa. The animations, gameplay, stupid elemental mechanics.
I mean during the coronavirus there wasn't a single open world gacha game on the mobile market with graphics and world like genshin everyone was still playing the stupid turn based sprite games like fgo and limited games like hi3
Genshin was literally the first open world gacha game on the market it's like pokemon so just like pokemon has competitors which people think are better than pokemon but ultimately pokemon was the first to do it
Genshin is in a similar situation
Wish they would listen about some dam male banners but aside fepm that their doing a notable job.
Considering coming back to WuWa. Should I reinstall chat?
yes :3
Bro genshin doesn't even have android controller support after 4 years, what the heck they have better QoL, no they do not lol
The issue with hsr is that it “improves” in less places overall than genshin.
It has more game modes yes but
Relics are worse to farm even after the new change genshin got.
It has a better gacha but as a whole there’s less pulls than in genshin
The game suffers from the same issue if not worse at needing certain characters for teams to function.
Lastly power creep is worse while they’re still keeping the genshin trend of 4 stars being significantly worse than 5 stars without buffing older units.
@@amari7782Ya I hope Kuro actually buffs older units to avoid power creep. As that is a issue I will say HSR has.
@@charginginprogresss there still good QOL that WuWa haven't have. Like minimap which can rotate that we can turn on and off. It's really helping for me at least which easy to lost. Official interactive maps, although not in the game but it's really helping when explore.
Dang, when I think about it the more I think that all this time they give Genshin player nothing. I mean 4 years and when have almost all of it in Wuwa which just 2 patch. This is pathetic.
@@amari7782 really? I don't play HSR so I don't really know it I just know it from what I heard from their players. lol
the only issue of this game for me is lack of male playable character😩
starting new season of dramas again😅
Now if only they'd add a way to save my login when I exit the game...
Alt+f4 to exit
@@charginginprogresss "'Hi, I'd like a QoL improvement in your product, can you add a power switch so I can turn it off when I'm done using it?''
''Just take the power outlet off, duh''
@@charginginprogresssyep, works like a charm
Simply don t log off and close the game
@@charginginprogresss i discover this by accident, been using alt f4 ever since lol.
Genshin is a cartoon game for kid so dev don't have to listen that kids
im not sure if you arent familiar with anime but both genshin and wuwa is anime style 😭
@@niconii3663 genshin is cartoon, wuwa is amine
@@vanthongnguyen4607 what? you must be trolling, right? either that or you really haven't seen much anime - if at all. genshin has like the most 0815 basic anime style, i don't think it's possible to look more anime than genshin does. cartoon artstyle is usually less round and less cute than anime.
dev listen but their player doesn't want to spend money. Wuwa is a good game for global player only bit for cn and jp this region love genshin more and we can see global player not the one who make a gacha game success but cn and jp instead. If you want prove look at how massive hoyo game earn compare to wuwa.
We are still waiting for WuWa to go EoS and Kuro go bankrupt, that's what happens when you bad mouth about Hoyoverse
