The craziest thing about this is that, between the two episodes, Sonic Destruction actually has a semi-coherent plot. There are actual theories about the lore that somehow *make perfect sense*. My favourite part about this series was going into it just expecting a few laughs and becoming actually invested in the story.

55:18 Nagito is from Danganronpa. He’s a character who acts evil when he’s trying to be good, and good when he’s trying to be evil. Hence why Sonic is giving off Nagito vibes, he’s supposedly trying to do good, but he’s acting very villainous while doing so.
I think some of the funniest things that aren't talked about are A) In addition to the weird father-son-relationship-switching thing between Eggman and Gerald in that one scene, Gerald isn't even Eggmans dad in the games. He's his grandfather. Everything about that scene was so messed up and i love it B) Not only does the list decide to Include descriptions for Espio and Big, and only them, some of the most recognizable characters in the series and _not,_ y'know, lucas the flaming centipede - it also gets Espio's origin wrong. He's from one of the games called Knuckles' Chaotix, not the comics
Sonic Destruction is literally what I watch when I feel really depressed or upset about something, even though I've watched it so many times by now it still makes me laugh just as hard!

Oh my god, that part always gets me to laugh, and sometimes it's takes a lot to make me *really laugh* but sometimes it's just the really stupid yet hilarious stuff that cracks me up, funnily enough. Like that for instance. 😂 I think I almost died when I first saw/heard that part.

46:05 The real reason AI dungeon is hesitant to solve the problems it has created is because it's supposed to be interactive, normally. So when it creates a problem, it wants the players to solve it. But since the players are all AI controlled, they also don't want to steal the highlights from the humans, resulting in them waffling around while every single character is hoping some human will take over and suggest a solution.
I like how things start out relatively mundane then just slowly devolve into madness from there. I like what one comment said, that by the time episode 2 rolls around, it just becomes a Hideo Kojima production. :P
