It's important to look at the overview map to see which regions have gold mines since they generate a lot of extra income. Most of them are in the mountains, in Dwarf or Orc territory. Ports also generate a lot of extra income and even though they're not shown on the overview map, settlements next to water generally have ports.
It isn't cumulative at all, this guy simply doesn't seem to understand money in this game. The total wealth the second tier building adds to wealth is what it says on the building. But why did he lose more than 350 (around 500) when he destroyed the building? First off, if it did add up the total wealth lost would've been much higher than 500, as 250+375 is 625 and not 500. He kinda went fast and stupid with the math there. Secondly, it seems he forgets that the central building of a settlement adds not just wealth but also *upgrades all buildings in a province* that *have wealth* output with a certain percentage, like at around 35% at this tier of building. What does an increase of 35% to 375 get to? That's right, 506.25. What does this mean? You are better off upgrading the main bulding of any settlement than upgrading the wealth producing buildings and more cheap low tier wealth creating buildings are more effective at generating tax than one high tier wealth generating building.
@@Quetzietse Oh okay, I get it. So if I have the option available I should always go for building brand new low tier tax generating buildings instead of upgrading my higher tier ones I'd previously built, as the percentage bonus available will be more effective and efficiently utilised that way. So every building that says it generates "income" is in actual fact just generating more "tax"?
Appreciate the dedication to these videos man. Thanks for the effort put in to them, they really have helped me out throughout my Warhammer experience ay.
No one wants to trade with me because I'm the vampires. The only faction that doesn't hate me is some tribe of greenskins but they can't trade anyway. Is there a good way to make up for this with an alternative steady source of income?
i have the same problem when i play vampire counts. i have problem at the end of the game, because i don't have any alliances, they all attack me at the same time.
cosy up to ostermark? in one of my games ostermark randomly asked me to trade with me. I guess since they hate the empire and I had been bullying Empire allies. also we had a non-aggression pact. I had invaded them previously and they had no way of beating me and I didn't have the resources to hold their territories yet so we I took their non aggression deal. I got some trade out of them before chaos marched south and empire supporters took their corpse.
the thing is with the empire they have the offices system and you have along with franz, as emperor there is the patriarch that gelt will auto fill in and the grand theologist spot or name equivalent that volkmar will fill in by defult. this leaves you with the rikesmarshal the office for spies the master enginer slot etc you will need to fill up all of those offices to get the best use of them and that would require a general of the empire with the approperate rank as needed to fill in. so you will need at least counting all of the offices at least 5 generals to fill it 2 for the legendaries and 3 normal ones so you need 5 armies to do it what do you do about that.
It's probably because, oddly enough, Kislev isn't counted as being part of the empire provinces. This i discovered from playing vamp counts and having a mission which required me to sack or raze 3 different settlements belonging to empire provinces and Kislev wasn't among the potential targets.
Very useful tips and good explained. Thank you! Just one thing, please try to speak a little bit slower. Its hard to keep up with the good information if not an english native speaker ;)
Commerce in this game is so fking bullshit ... Compleatly useless. You invest money on getting resources that you can only trade with other factions ( First fail, no internal commerce no matter how big your empire is) then you have to find somebody willing to trade with you, problem is the bigger you are the worse are your diplomatic relationships with the other factions. Eventually it becomes impossible to trade with other factions cause everybody hates you and you lose any money you invested in all those resources. They really didn't think this that much. My advice is don't trade. Conquer and get money from new provincies and new buildings that's it. Other ways are so aids is not even worth it to talk about them

Thanks for the tip, about the cumulative incoming from buildings. I never realize that.
+Andre NMailho you are welcome again Andre. I missed it for awhile too before I started looking
it's not cumulative any more. or is it only cumulative under some conditions?

Sack everybody around you, then repeat when you start running out of money.
Cameron Mcindoe i never fully defeated the chaos i aLmost let them dry but didn’t put the finishing blow with bretonnia dwarves and empire
Nick Dzink wampires cant gain much money but their soldiers are cheap I use zombie armies
Clan angrund starting position sucks I only trade with border princes and Wiesenland I can trade with dwarves and other people

in TWW1 there are less factions and when is start conquering more lands there are less people to trade with
I conquered half of the world man, thx to you
Your videos is so great but i don't see you release any new video about wh2 ? I hope you will keep creating these guidance videos thanks.
Could you make one about Warhammer 2 if there is any difference
3:47 Odd, I can vassalize bretonnia, but not Kislev. I can occupy both's territories.
