You worked hard on this mattress and it was well worth it. Maybe it's not perfect compared to a new mattress but if someone doesn't have a mattress and is sleeping on the floor or on a really bad mattress or mat, this cleaned mattress would be a real blessing. I will admit that I have been an insomniac since I was at least a toddler as my parents can attest. But when I have to sleep on a hard mattress are the floor I cannot sleep at all. I endure it until I can no longer take it and then I get up and sit and wait for dawn. I feel as if I have been kicked and stomped. My bones are not very well covered and maybe that's the cause of it but it is very painful for me and the next day I am stiff and sore all over. For the first 20 years of our married life my husband believed in firm mattresses so I was absolutely miserable. He had open heart surgery in 2000 and spent almost two months in the hospital. Afterwards we spent a couple of weeks at his son's house in Houston so that he would be close to the medical center. During that period his son and wife gave us their bedroom as it was downstairs and they had a soft mattress. After we have been lying there the first night for several hours he finally turned to me and said, "Honey, I have to admit this bed is very comfortable". Those words changed my life and the day I brought him home I headed to the store to buy a nice, thick, cushy, pillow top mattress. It was fine for him but I still more, so I bought a 4 inch memory foam topper. At long last I was finally comfortable, but it was too much for him. So being a frugal woman at heart, I cut the mattress down the middle and put both sides on my side of bed. I, of course, was an absolute heaven. But he wasn't very happy as I was now 8 in higher than he was and he had to climb a mountain in order to get any loving 🤣 It was pretty comical and not terribly convenient so I did end up taking that second layer off. We still had to come together for sex but I did sleep so much better than I had for the first 40 years of my life
In our world this would be horrific but in the real world this is god sent, somebody in poverty would appreciate a good cleaned mattress rather than second hand or worse no mattress at all. In that position I sure would 😊 well done guys

This is a reminder to: shower before bed, use a sheet & mattress protector (especially if you have a job that causes you to get dirty), and to not eat in bed. Simple measures can prevent heavy staining. And for blood stains, hydrogen peroxide for blood stains.
There is also another incredible stain that can occur. It is from "spontaneous diarea" which is common in people over 70. That brown color looks to me to be that discoloration from this source.
As you certainly did a great job making this look new again, it makes me wonder how worn the springs have become from walking and jumping on it. Also, while the mattress dries if the springs rust and show rust marks from the inside through the material. I’m with many other commenters, no matter how clean you got this I don’t think I’d want it to sleep on.

It's a total waste of water. It's clear this was done just for the purposes of having a video to upload. The springs will 100% rust and the amount of water, detergent and time spent on this crap would probably be enough for a brand new mattress...

I've seen a facility in Las Vegas, Nevada U.S.A. that resells used mattresses that are usually from the hotels or from store floor models. Overall, they still look good. The mattresses are washed/cleaned/sanitized into a huge autoclave machine and giant dryer. They look brand new thereafter. Then, the matresses are wrapped in protective plastic before they go to the store display. They are a lot cheaper than brand new mattress. They are also good to sleep on like brand new matress.
Waste not want not. Not everyone in this world can afford to replace things so easily. For the owners of this mattress, clearly it was cheaper to pay them to clean it

For the cost of the amount if water and soap that was used, as well as the labor, you probably could bought another. But good on them. This transformation is crazy.

Yes, we use chlorine and baking soda during washing, which kills insects in addition to disinfecting

Most of the strangely dirty carpets have been used by their owners in workplaces and public places.
Many carpets are used by the owner in the garden for weekend cleaning, but they are not properly maintained and many are used at work and outdoors.
Some of the carpets that come to our center are due to flood damage, and some are due to sewage overflow damage

Во первых: никто не знает, какое наполнение у этого матраса. Если там есть кокос или натуральный латекс, все - этот матрас не пригоден для использования.
Во вторых: после таких прыганий на матрасе взрослого мужчины! все пружины, если этот матрас пружинный- вылезли, и если вы решите спать на таком матрасе- то будете в шоке от его поверхности. Поэтому, как ни крути, матрас на помойку!
