Countless video of trouba walking around without favoring his ankle, no limp, no boot. Cracked under pressure. These vets can’t take the spotlight.
Bring up the rookies, put pressure on the vets. They won’t half ass knowing their job is on the line.
Trouba trade or buyout.... Trade Kakko and move up in the draft is ok... It will clear more space for that impact player. Let Lindgren walk sign Zadorov. Rangers need size and grit.
You don’t let Lindgren walk, he’s an RFA we can get very good assets for him we need to trade up. Qualify him and trade him and then replace him in free agency with Skjei or Zadorov in my opinion, Kakko and pick 30 for 11 from BUF or maybe 14 from SJS, trade Trouba even with retention on our end and also get rid of Mika
So the title is just clickbait. It’s just your opinion. I’ve check several media outlets and never heard of any of these rumors.
They need to get rid of Trouba , keep Kakko another year and give him an opportunity or if they trade him it has to be for a comparable player ( not a throw in), don’t over pay for Lindgreen ( injured a lot) , trade Chytil ( he’s always hurt), Trocheck should be named captain, get a 1RW, get players that are big , hit and have playoff experience. As for Igor while he’s good I can’t see paying more than 10 million,if he wants more trade him. It’s obvious that teams win win cheaper goalies. They would get a boatload of players, picks or prospects. And then maybe these lack luster players will play some defense and not rely on Igor.

Bigger and more physical, nobody saying anything about the #1 center that cant physically play against other centers, 3 Vinny trocheck and we got the cup, never going to happen with these guys.
Yep. Mika is not gritty. Chytil is not gritty and Kreider is not gritty! Who were our best top forwards against Florida? Trockek and lafreniere! The other clowns are not made for this type of hockey.

It's stupid to trade kakko to get a higher draft pick, I want to win now!!! They need to get rid of trouba and if they have to include lindgren in the deal, let it be!! We need more cap space to sign better players

trading up in draft with kappo, is silly. we wont even sniff the top 10 and draft after 5th pick is horrible.
You’re getting nothing for Trouba without retaining salary, and even then every other GM in the league has seen how bad he is. As for his leadership I mean…where? When? The one time he threw his helmet? Tantrums aren’t leadership; they’re what someone does when they’re out of ideas.
Trading Kakko for a higher draft pick also frees up 2.4 million of cap space to pursue a right wing free agent for the first line.
here is the thing imho if kakko does make it as a top 6 player it wont be with us as he needs to shed the 2nd pick label. mgmt may feel that his 2.4m is better used on the UFA market like towards better scoring rw. t/f using kakko to move our pick up makes sense.
As a Ducks fan, I’m kind of intrigued about a deal for Trouba and Kakko. I wonder what that deal would look like. Zegras?

Could not disagree more on Kakko...He is soft, passionless, does not score, does not set up goals, does not hit, is allergic to the net-front, no deflections, no greasy rebound goals...People fall in love with his "analytics"...But he does NOTHING with that puck control...He flopped on the first line and the benching proved Gallant correct...5 years in this is who he is!!
I agree 100%. Been saying it for a couple years. Move on. Bring in Othman and let Cullye play a bigger role. They can handle it.
People need to start looking at Kakko as a $2.4 million 3rd line player who is a strong on defense. If a different team drafted him and we traded for him the way is now for 2.4 million, people would be loving it. Kakko will most likely never be the 2nd over all pick we were hoping for but his contract is pretty cheap.
Rangers need size on both offense and defense.
I'm older remember 94 cup real well would love this team to raise it as well.

Trouba and Lindgren are the ONLY grit we have. And we need grit. Stupid to trade either one. Build our team thru our farm system! Big Ben and Engstrom would be logical. McCay/ McCann? also. Miller is soft. Constantly gets beat when his long reach stick check fails. Plays like he's 5'7" 165lbs. Or convert him to a winger which he used to do. Othmann is awesome scorer and plays big.
I think Zibanijed is soft BUT he does everything else well. The top line needs RW with grit, could be Othemann.
Trouba has stunk here since he arrived, AND Miller is too big to be so soft. I think Lidgren is better than Miller.
Lindgren is EASILY better than Miller! Love Miller, but he's too inconsistent sometimes!

All these players want is a big contract, but in order to get those big contracts you have to play good yr in and yr out, the owners have spoiled these players by throwing big money at them and when the players get the big 💵 money they play but not up to expectations, like Vinny trocheck he earns his money by playing up to his expectations but Drury needs to get guys who want to win not these prima donnas who are just looking for the money and could care less if the team wins or loses, now it's up to Drury to fix this problem and I hope he gets players who want to win the cup and want to play for the team. GO RANGERS.

Collin is completely right about Trouba and we all know that in a important game or playoff if a player is not 100% healthy you don't play him and remember during the season he got hurt and Schneider covered that position with expertise so yes your hurt don't hurt the team as a whole. Do you guys think Kakko failure is due to how they use him.

Sorry, can't keep hearing the Trouba trashing, Fox played like crap in the playoffs. he had mild ACL. Fox will never be Norris guy again. You imagine Jones, Fox, Lindgren and Gusty, 4 dmen 6 ft or less, think we got beat up physically? Jones Fox are smurfs against FL type teams. TB had 6 Dmen 6'3" or bigger during Cup years. Our defense is crap. Trouba just easiest to trash. You should trash Chytil who hasn't done anything but get hurt in 6 yrs.

No one is taking Trouba. The Rangers are stuck with him and his ludicrous contract, which I said was ludicrous when they signed him from Winnipeg. I never liked the guy. Kappo needs to become more assertive, I believe his issues are psychological.

No offense to you guys but you seem to think these guys are your video game and are suppose to do what you want when you want it. Do you guys work for a living and do your job EVERY DAY FOR EVERY HOUR? I don't think so. These are human beings just like you and all though Trouba was bad you guys are going over the line with your bashing. It's not his fault Gorton over paid him! Guys you need to understand that as long as Sather is alive he will be whispering in Dolan's ear and Dolan thinks he's the GOD of hockey. Believe me Drury has to deal with that big time. For 20 years Sather traded away most of our picks and prospects and we won NOTHING. Tony is right you have to keep young players in the system. It's tough to balance but it's the right way. If not you will only win 1 cup every 80 plus years

Hey Johnny! To be honest, if I were Trouba, I'd want all that money too! Not blaming him for the contract Gorton handed him, it's just up to Drury now to find a way to get a better, cheaper defenseman.
As far as Fox goes, he played through the playoffs with an ongoing injury, and still managed to record assists and play solid defense. Seems like a big difference to me, but I would love to hear more about your opinion too!
