i’ve been looking at this bike for a while. i’m almost 6ft tall, and i was wondering how tall you were so i could kind of take a guess at how it would fit me
wow. I was looking at this bike since last year but there is virtually no reviews on it back then. I loved the look of it and the colour being NOT black was also a plus. Thanks for this! looks like they've changed things a little and upgraded some stuff since I first looked at it. They need a dual motor version with big battery. and I doubt they ship to Canada.
@@eugene188 same recently been looking at this bike and i also live in canada its on ali express and they ship to canada but not sure if i should risk it
What is the max current it draws under load? Is 1500w the peak or the nominal? Going to AKEZ site it seems it only has a 28amp controller which is 28x48v = 1344 watts max. A little lower than the 1500w claimed. However at full charge at 54.6 volts the theoretical maximum is 1546w however with voltage sag you are never going to get that. I want to know if possible when putting it on the "current" setting on the display what maximum current you get out of it. Have you tried adjusting the wheel diameter to make the speedometer accurate? Thanks. Great video.
Thank you for watching. I just went and checked the speed limiter. The speed is limited in each pedal assist level, even when controlled by the throttle. That is how it is set from the factory. The M5 controller may be able to be setup to get around this, but this is the factory setting.
@@everythingebike Trying to find that setting in the P menus. I have another bike with an M5 and it doesn't do that. But I have this one too and it does. Weird.
Thank you for watching. If you’re just going to ride it using the twist throttle, no problem. But if you are going to try to pedal it, you may find it too small. Hope this helps! 👍
Lol, your knees are nearly hitting your arms! All these moped style ebikes look lovely but I need a height adjustable seat so none of them are appropriate for me sadly.
Thanks for watching. That’s exactly why I showed it. The moped style e-bikes are fun, but you’ll never get any exercise riding them. An adjustable saddle would be the best! 👍👍👍
@@everythingebike It really is a shame as they are amazing and I can't stop watching reviews of them. The prices are so low, the specs so high. Everything ticks all of the boxes apart from the seat problem! I guess fat wheels are another problem when it comes to efficiency. I can't imagine trying to ride one of these things home if you ever ran out of battery. Good luck with that!
I have a 20” folding fat tire bike that I was reviewing on a ride at Mammoth Lakes, CA and the battery became disconnected. I ended up riding 7 miles back with no power, just gears. It’s an 78 lb e-bike and it took some work.
@@everythingebike Me and my girlfriend have ridden ebikes for 6+ years now and our 26" bikes both ran out on the way home recently for the first time ever. Getting up hills felt like we were pedaling through thick syrup. Ebikes have made us feel like we are superhuman and the realisation that we are in fact not when the battery runs out is quite a shock to the system! Happy riding :)
I was looking at building a moped style ebike and I really like this frame. I saw a similar frame on Aliexpress but it's 600$. I can't understand how they manage to sell this eBike for 1300$ when alone the frame (600$) + 1500W rear hub motor kit (330$) + 48V 20AH for 100-1500W Motor (250$) is a total of 1180$. 🤔 So, it's not even worth trying to build my own eBike when I could just buy this one for cheaper.
I purchased this ebike on Amazon for $1199, and I’m really impressed with both the quality and their excellent customer service. I’m so happy with it that I plan to get one for my son before Christmas!

The pedal assist settings cap off your throttle speed? That doesn’t seem right.

I’m 5’11, would I be too tall for the bike? I have a slender athletic build weigh about 168-170

Should I change the battery? they say it's a fire hazard
Thanks for watching! I’ve had no problems with the battery. Who is saying it’s a fire hazard.
