There is nothing out of place in my house, but there is also no fun, family gatherings, or celebrations. Your life is full of joy, family and friends and sometimes messes.😊

I'm pregnant with my 3rd and honestly I feel better seeing your mess. I know you are an amazing mom and it just makes me feel better about not being able to keep up with my mess. Thank you for keeping it real. My second is 16 months and still makes her way to our bed in the night. Her sleep periods in her room get longer every week but I don't have the energy to try to put her back to bed in the middle of the night. I love co-sleeping, I also love having my own space. So I will be glad when she is sleeping longer in her room.
I read this quote and love it . Makes you really think we don't know everyones circumstances. Maybe that person has grandparents in their lives. Maybe they have a cleaning lady . You get the point Maybe you think someone doesn't have a lot on their plate compared to you. But maybe their plate is smaller than yours and doesn't have a lot of room to begin with. Or maybe their plate is paper, and their flimsy paper plate can't hold as much as your sturdy ceramic plate can.
Why is it the bedroom is always last for cleaning. I put stuff in my bedroom corner and there it stays! I can relate to your bedroom! I think your bedroom is perfect! Sometimes life just gets in the way. Family is more important than a clean bedroom! Having your last baby IS bitter sweet. Ha ha, the table leaf story.😅😂 The person probably doesn't miss it! I thought I was the only one that stores stuff under beds! You are so real and I love that about you!
There’s a product called Restor A Finish that will transform your wood furniture like magic. You can match most wood colors, just wipe on and wipe off. It can be found at Lowe’s and Home Depot. Love your content!

I recently saw an IG story from Brittany Vasseur (also here on YT) about dancing. This study says dancing is the number 1 best treatment for depression/anxiety (I screen shot the chart she showed). Sooo guess who I thought of first???? So now that I've been working on my walk-in closet a little at a time, it's time to start dancing along with you and get it done 💜💙💚💛🧡

I have the Cherry wood furniture in my house too. I use the Gel stain to refresh any scratches on mine. It takes a couple of days to cure , but it works great! It’s a lot easier than refinishing or painting. Love your channel and your family….. and girl…. You look fabulous ❤

I watch your videos in the morning while I sip my coffee. You motivate me to get so much done. I had 5 littles at once, then I had 5 teens at once, teens are much worse. Everyone told me I was going to miss it, but as an empty nester, I don't miss all the mess and chaos. I still have the husband making messes, though. So, it really never ends.

I’m retired my kids are grown with their own children and I’m English but my husband and I have retired to Spain. It is difficult to be away from our family. The best of it is we have a large house, and our family spend holidays with us and it’s hectic but quality time and fun. When my five kids were growing up it was like you are experiencing- chaotic. It’s impossible to have to keep on top of everything and really as long as you have kids the house will never be how you would want it to be. Time goes so fast and kids along with yourself move on. I can’t believe how quickly the years have gone. You are both amazing parent, I don’t know how you fit it all in, your kids just have amazing times. Enjoy the little things and don’t worry about others homes. I bet your kids will remember the happiness and fun they have for the rest of their lives. Homes that are warm and welcoming are homes like yours. Love to you all. Xx 😘

Good morning, Kim! I am that clean & organized homemaker. Even I have moments of messes. For example, every time my dog goes outside, he brings a leaf in and chews it up. It looks like a tornado of leaves took over my floor. It's a phase, it's funny, I'll vacuum it up eventually. 🤣
! Solution for the towel in the bathroom. Put a command hook by the sink. I mean you could get a fancy-looking one but I'm sure you already own a command hook in your house and you could just stick it up on there. 😊 But if you want it to look more aesthetic and pleasing you can get a nice one. But that would be great to just stick up and have a little hand towel on for you. May eliminate the frustration I would say it's worth it if it annoys you everyday. Put a little happy in your day. 😉

I have a wide age range of children as well. 3, 10, 14 and 16. I have passed the torch of the elf on to my older two kids. It’s their responsibility to do the elf stuff and they actually really enjoy it. Takes a lot of stress off me!
Girl, as a mom myself my room is the one place where everything ends up..I toss stuff in my closet to get it out of the way and just close to door so I don't have to see it.. My room is always the last room I think about cleaning because I have the rest of the house to handle..I love watching your videos because it reminds me there are more important things in life than worrying about a messy room and closet..My kids are happy, my family is fed and the rest of my house gets tended to.. I'll worry about my mess when I feel like it 😅..Those wanting to judge everything someone does or doesn't do to their standards needs to mind their own 😁
You should get one of those rails that you put over the cabinet doors so you can keep a towel at the sink. Much easier than drilling and putting up an actual towel ring.

I've got so much clean laundry piled up in my bedroom, it's mostly mine. But I put up some Christmas decorations in there and it brought it to life even with the laundry pile!😂 I will get it to when it's time!
Idea for your bed frame; paint it! You can choose your style or even distress it. Would look great and inexpensive. Okay what idiot said you look pregnant; you are slim with a practically flat stomach! You look amazing.
The only thing that helped me after watching FARMHOUSE ON BOONE, was editing my clothes and linens. Some of my kitchen stuff. So hard with all the kids different activities! Joyful times!
I struggled with the Elf on the Shelf too, but now my oldest son loves to do it for my youngest son. He really gets into it and it makes me so happy to see how much joy they both get out of it. I bet your older girls would like being apart of the action, especially since the kit you bought seems to have everything already included for you. Just a thought! Kim...I only have 2 kids in sports, clubs, and we homeschool....I clean my kitchen 4 times a day and yell at my kids to clean up after themselves 18 times a day...lol I have a senior in highschool and try to remember the 4-6 grilled cheese sandwiches will not be happening a year from now...I'm sure I will not miss the mess per say, but I will miss watching him cook for himself!!! 😊

I too have 5 kids. The oldest is now 39. The youngest is 23. My house was busy and crazy all the time when they were young. You will miss these times.

You could task the bigger girls into doing the elf for the littles. I assume they know... BUT it is great way to help them bring the magic to others!

I struggled with the Elf on the Shelf too, but now my oldest son loves to do it for my youngest son. He really gets into it and it makes me so happy to see how much joy they both get out of it. I bet your older girls would like being apart of the action, especially since the kit you bought seems to have everything already included for you. Just a thought! Kim...I only have 2 kids in sports, clubs, and we homeschool....I clean my kitchen 4 times a day and yell at my kids to clean up after themselves 18 times a day...lol I have a senior in highschool and try to remember the 4-6 grilled cheese sandwiches will not be happening a year from now...I'm sure I will not miss the mess per say, but I will miss watching him cook for himself!!! 😊
