I have never heard of the foam glue before. I have had great results with a waterproof PVA (think it has a rubber in it). Sets off really hard but gives you time to move things into place.

The foam tack glue is really good but I suspect that it costs more than the PVA, so if that works for you I would stick with it. TUN.

Beware, superglue will eat expanded polystyrene. Stick to PVA :)

I've made this mistake before many years ago, also the same thing with plastic glue.

Very good informative video. I use PVA on my first layout but changed to copydex and but only use that on the base (i use cork) and I have started to screw the tracks in place as I find they stay fixed and resist expansion better (and its less messy). I did like the section on the power base and should have used that on my incline but I'm getting results with out it so will leave well alone. I have subbed to your channel and look forward to the progress.
    Regards
    Steve

Thank you for your wonderful comment Steve. I have pinned and screwed track in the past but I am fortunate that the temperature in the layout room is pretty constant throughout the year. I once laid some track on a loft layout in the middle of winter, come a summer heatwave I got a little worried, so I can understand why you might want to screw track. Re your layout if it isn't broke don't fix it. Once again thanks for watching, TUN.
