Deep pockets objectively bad. Try with and without, unless you are getting all 300 nitra in a mission alone as scout (most of them won’t have that much) it still barely saves you any time. Bring something that actually makes a difference.
I prefer white phosphorous over any of the effects in tier 5 for the boomstick, it adds that extra damage I need on big targets when my primary isn't able to be used, and makes killing swarms cleaner, especially with the blowthrough rounds.
I saw this build in another youtubers video and I think this is a very good crowd control. Deep core with bullets of mercy and Boltshark with specialist and electric bolts
If you don’t quite like the ai stability deepcore consider running armor break in tier 4. At first I really didn’t want to try it but once you use it it’s much like special powder. YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK. You don’t want to either
I remember when everyone crapped on the gk2 but since the last tweak it’s become the go to for most graybeards i feel. I always run electric reload since the recoil is already very manageable. Then I use slows and dub barrel. I can either load kite the horde than electrocute them to death or toss a slow with dub barrel and stand against anything. If you move like a scout you are basically unkillable in most situations. So fun.
The GK2 is still utter garbage without an overclock. Which is TERRIBLE for a STARTING weapon. The Garand is useable without an overclock. Everyone I’ve talked to who said the machine gun isn’t bad seems to have forgotten overclocks take time to farm
One thing I don't see mentioned is that for the Boltshark, I believe T1C (the static) makes the bolts unretreivable from T5B. T1C is my go-to as well for AoE shock/slow also taking T5A for longer shock timer the few times I run something other than the double barrel.
Man I hope I find cryo minelets soon because that looks like a good time haha What are your thoughts on bullets of mercy for the gk2? I found a lot of fun pairing it with phosphorus shells on my boomstick

The tip about throwing the heavy object and catching it midair after grappling is pure gold. My jaw dropped
You can do it with special powder too if you have to get up even higher but you have to keep spamming E to keep it by yourself
seeing you get a warden and an oppressor with the meteors was so nice using the environment without even thinking about it
Tier 3 A doesn’t affect your base m1000 damage, only focus shot, so you should’ve sticked to bigger mag and either stun or killing machine in tier 5

i would change the drak to have electricity so you dont need to run electricity on the boltshark, cuz omg the pheromone bolts are good
Pheromone bolts feel like cheating lmao, just hit a praetorian or two and boom the swarm eats itself
I love running the ricocheting bolts for the boltshark. Runs well with the base assault rifle.

Bullets of mercy is amazing too! I used that until I got AI stab engine
