Wailea Beach Path #2, Maui, Hawaii, DJI Osmo

- I recorded this walk using a DJI Osmo. The distance of the walk is 3.2 miles from the Andaz hotel to the Fairmont hotel and return on the Wailea Beach Path on Maui.
The entire recording at 4K was 24GB for 50 minutes of video. I found no problem with battery life. Worked just fine. Holding it while walking was easy and not uncomfortable. I used an iPhone 5s.

I walked this path myself everyday as I stayed at the Fairmont. It is one of my favorite experiences in life. I love watching this every day. I wasn't sure about the sound you added at first, but I like it; smart choice. Thanks!
The alternative is hearing my footsteps which even annoyed me. Also, the conversations as I passed by can be distracting. I had one guy said the bird sounds were not indigenous to the area. Reminded me of a very funny Brian Regan segment. :)

Thank you for sharing this incredible walk /jog / run ! You did safe my life ! I have been on Maui 3 times and never discover this simple ,amazing ,wonderful path leading (myself ) to heaven ! For me is the heaven on the beautiful mother earth !! Can not wait to see my foot prints on this path! SOON VERY SOON !! Love you for it !!!
I have been 8 times and I don't think enough is enough. We were scheduled to go in May, but postponed until next year. The thought of wearing a mask in Maui just spoiled it for me. I can only hope by 2022, it only gets better.
I love watching these videos ("Wailea Beach Path" series) especially during our winters. I just got a 4K TV and noticed that on TH-cam, the original 'Wailea Beach Path' and Wailea Beach Path #3 goes up to 4K resolution option. This one (Wailea Beach Path #2) goes as high as 1080p. Do you remember if you uploaded it in 4K and maybe TH-cam encoded it up to 1080p only ? I see a difference in my new TV between the two resolutions.

We think the best way to film would be to get a drone, then it wouldn't bob up and down and you wouldn't have to hold anything. I enjoyed the sound of the surf, and appreciate that you aren't talking.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have the original OSMO. No filters. Post processing in Final Cut Pro.

This could be much improved upon by looking to the left and right to give some idea of the view. Would that be unlawful.
I initially did that when I first recorded it. However, it was very distracting and not as natural as the POV view.
