A bit late to the game with my comments but I do want to say that I own l'Air and absolutely love it. I agree that it isn't very versatile but I would never personally reduce the score of a frag because of that. I feel perfumery is art and should be treated thusly. Uniqueness should never be penalized.

You know...it really pains me to say this but I agree with you about the versatility of this one. It "pains me" because I have been so engulfed in the beauty of the scent I never bothered to think of of its versatility. That's how mesmerizing it is...it is one of a handful of scents (Feve Delicieuse, Norne and Tobacco Vanille being the most recent) that make me forget the world and draw me in with its hypnotizing scent. (To me) This is not just (about) perfumery...this is perfumery, art AND "psychology" (being able to transport you through concept and scent)...something I myself strive to create...

Moroccan is one of best countries i have ever visited. this perfum does show that beauty. I love it
i actually got this one last summer. Now have the best memories from it. I wore it going to PA, through the hils and mountains, farms and beauty. The scent was so natural and made such an impression on me in the heat of the summer, its actully my best time wearing it. Love this stuff... Now i dont wanna waste my bottle! LoL

Im a late-comer to this masterpiece and I love it you do a great job describing it TAUER has gone to a rectangular aluminum box with a sliding lid this is a LIGHT INCENSE/AMBER to my nose this is a classic that I always see owning I love that it transports me to an exotic locale JIM from MIAMI BEACH
7 years later and 02 is still rockin'! Got a new bottle few days ago and today ordered Coeur du desert. It's worth having them both. Same vibe but Coeur is more pungent,thick,potent,like Marocain brother bodybuilder. 02 more open,easier to wear,real definition od EDT intense. Intoxicating!

A lot goes into the making of a fragrance review and it shows. Well done and thanks 🙂. Just got LDDM in the mail and of course had to know what I was smelling "in-depth". Needless to say, Brilliant review! I got everything I needed from this short and loaded review. God, I love this game.
Oh, and have a question. Would you agree If I say that LDDM/ACDD and Atelier Des Ors' Larmes Du Desert have points of similarity? Just the vibe perhaps?
Liquid husband. The first time I smelled this it brought me to tears. Atmospheric, evocative and strangely tender, LDDM is a fucking masterpiece. It feels somewhat cool and distant (like air or memory) yet simultaneously warm and enveloping. There is a soft, powdery plushness that runs throughout, compliments of a salty amber, but it's decidedly masculine overall. It poignantly clings to the skin like an embrace; alive and lived-in, warm and lethargic. For me it conjures images of resting in the arms of my soulmate. Relaxed, reassured and perhaps a little overheated by our closeness I am fortified, protected and loved. And since I have yet to find my said soulmate, for now I can just break out this bad boy and fantasize as I bask in it's warm and moody glow.

I love his service but it just takes sooo damn long to ship. Like I ordered it last week Monday. Thanks Steven. I can appreciate you rating this for uses that your readers would have in terms of limited versatility. But knowing how it smells, I actually want something that stands out, so would rate this much higher. It's a fabulous and unique scent, and I would adjust the amount used to the occasion. That's kind of how niche scents are generally used, anyway. I agree it's more for the fall and winter as it is strong and would be overwhelming in the heat. The quality and thought put into this scent is top notch.

Good review. This was my first in store luckyscent "scent bar purchase" with my wife's enthused approval. I have never really considered this a daring scent. I enjoy wearing it out to dinner on a cold night, or any cool day for that matter.

I have to say.. This one in the beginning is too challenging, too much incense type resinous of a scent.. But as it dries down it gets better and better. Something about it begins to get addictive and it gets less challenging the longer it is on. I don't find it overpowering but i find it to be a full bodied fragrance.. I actually really enjoy the dry down and think it is wearable.
stellar review man, i really like this stuff, i only have a decant, it seems to be much more pricey in the u.k, i wish he did 100ml bottles, i'd go through a 50 in a month hehe.

The heat that is generated in these areas is what allows the fragrance to jump up off the skin and "project." These areas are the sides of your neck, your wrists, and the insides of your elbows among others. I will try to make a video on this soon. Thanks again!

Hey Steven, is this a scent you can easily go nose blind to me. It's kind of funny that this scent smells like me. Women always call me Mr. Smell Good even when I don't wear anything. Does this scent have a natural but good skin scent after awhile? When I wear it, it smells like me. Normally I wear ambers, rose, oud, sandalwood a lot of naturals. This one confuses me, I like Ambre Sultan, Ambre Nuit and Mitzah the most out of my collection. Thanks for being part of our community. You seem like a teacher I would like. Just wondering what you teach. I would guess English.

Great stuff, I don't own this one but have the sample.. I own 03 Lonestar Memories :) both excellent though, the rubber ring to hold the cap is just a standard O-Ring, but doubled up, like you get in gas cylinders, in my line of work for diving, we grease the o-rings up with lubricant to stop them from breaking down :) a tiny bit of Vaseline around the rubber ring would also work.. to keep the rubber fresh and easier to pull the cap on and off
