what u have here is the best punk gig ive seen in ages. havent been to many of those lately, but thousands in the 90/00s. this is it for u hax out there. and now theyve done their own thing with slater, cowgirl clue et al and are still delivering fucking EXCITING music reliably. as u may be aware. still, this, right here, this is gold, to me, a cut above
i don't even know why i like this so much. i'm not even really into punk that much. very little punk really does it for me. lots of post punk and some noise rock though, so i guess some of the appeal comes from there.
I know every drummer has their own style but man fletchers fast paced drumming with him just looking like he’s fucking having the time of his life and then even In the slow paced songs they still put every ounce of energy into it…. Man I love this band:)
I liked these guys in 2012. This is a cool studio session basically. Not feeling them after they got all famous though. Btw that girl in the back used to date one of the twins (her band is called The Meow Twins) dont know which and its super cool that the drummer from the Coltranes makes a cameo at the beginning haha

There's something oddly cinematic and good about the bored audience while The Garden is having a good time. You couldn't recreate it any better.
Murrieta is just full of very dispassionate, boring people
Kinda like when Wyatt says they make music for themselves and whoever likes it like it
