By the way he reacted, in his defense, I do not think that the flagger witnessed the car flipping. I have been to that track and it is one of my favorite clay tracks. They should have an extra override switch up in the announcers booth that could place the track red lights on in an emergency situation.
No it's not man like mobile international speedway it's a huge high banked half mile asphalt track with no walls in corners and no wall near back straight it's like 60 feet off the track I'd rather roll off the top of the hill in the turns then got a wall at full speed there I have raced late models and a sprint car there it would kill drivers having a wall at some tracks with no safer barrier
