Dude I saw Sarah Carter in the thumbnail and could not get here fast enough... as a guy who watched this as a teenager ... she will always have a special place in my heart haha
@@TalkVillePodcast Hello, quick question. I just bought tickets to the talk I’ll live in LA, and it says for special ticket holders you can get early access and see Smallville nights before the show. But there is only one option for tickets. Are they two separate tickets? Or does the one ticket admission allow us to see both?
Tom deserves some appreciation for that scene with Martha. He really sold their mother/son relationship, which is a big part of humanizing the Superman character.
Sarah Carter returning as Alicia and pushing Clark Kent's storyline further was just beautiful. Pariah seriously though was just touching and just seeing Clark Kent's emotional breakdown was just gut wrenching. Also Chloe's shock with Alicia showing Clark's secret was a nice change.
I've watched a couple of these so far and one thing I have noticed is how incredibly genuine, thoughtful and intelligent the cast from Smallville have grown up to be. It's very validating to know the people who played your favourite characters are even better in real life. It almost feels like a happily ever after.
Alicia/Sarah was in her underwear in this episode (with shirtless Clark), but a screen-shot of Alicia biting the cup, at the ice-skating rink, is still the sexiest shot in the whole show.
I was a kid at that time. I rembember that scenes used to get me excited years before understanding what excitement was 😂. Alicia was hot, not gonna lie

The Alicia arc is one of those stories that stays with you. Because of how many layers, the connection, and synergy between her and Clark That spark is there, whether or not Clark was on Red K. Someone who could relate to everything Clark was going through. Even though on two different paths. Somehow, something brought them together, even for a little while. But also find calm, and solace Sarah is an incredible actress, and I absolutely love her performance as Alicia. ❤️💕
Can we appreciate how perfect the choice of songs are in the scenes where they're ice skating and also at the end of the episode where Alicia is crying in Clarks arms in the barn. Smallville has one of the best soundtrack's I've ever heard in a TV show
Last song was by Jonathan Rice called “break so easy”. I have had it on every device since this episode came out! 🤝🏽 hit a cord with me in my youth and now it brings me back to those nostalgic feelings. I also used it on my last mural. Check it out sometime! @damonsmythart
"It was undeniable the chemistry you guys had, undeniable. In fact, so undeniable, that I was jealous" Seriously, their romance felt so authentic and innocent. It made you really buy into their relationship. I really wish they had her on as a regular. There was so much potential.
Yup, such a shame they cut the Alicia storyline so soon. I know Lois had to be introduced soon but they could have had her for at least the rest of S4.
@@Davon85J I think the chemistry was too good to keep her on the show, it would have spoiled any future relationships with lana and lois if they kept it up for longer.
Sarah Carter. Hell Yes. Still a knockout and definitely one of the most memorable guest characters on the show. Cried my eyes out when her character died. Alicia was a real one.
I'm still in love of Alicia / Sarah! Great Character and Actress and is just adorable even when evil! You guys really do not know how much we were caring about Alicia in the series, definitely a great love story and a character we true fans always remember 🥰
I felt something when Sarah said "There was a boundary held. I was young. We were young at that time. It was the first role that I was managing that kind of chemistry and we were cultivating that love, that energy, that kind of sexual chemistry. And I was "doing my job" - my enphasis on her quotation marks - and I remember sombody saying keep it on set [...] and I've always being curious about it [...] WAW, I'm dangerous!!"
The Alicia/Clark dynamic is one of the most emotionally visceral and beautifully sad on the show, which is why its absolutely one of my favorite blocks of narrative.
Unsafe and Pariah were both amazing episodes for many reasons, but it's understandable why that story arc with Alicia didn't lasted longer. She was from the beginning seen as " meteor freak" who tried to kill Lana...and by the time she came back "cured" no one believed her, of course. No one but Clark. But I like how her character got kind of, heroic exit from the show. Chemistry between Tom and Sarah was really great. And I like how Tom always speaks highly about Annette. By the way, someone really, really loved Dido' s music.🙂
@@jdzspace33 She actually saved Clark from the bullet in this episode. That's heroic, i think. She loved him. And her last is "Pariah" where she was accused for something she didn't do.There's nothing heroic about that😀, but Clark was devastated after she died. She was the only one, at the time, who could understand him.
@misoboskovic we were all devastated when she died. She was the one character who disrupted the fuedal state of shipper culture back in the day. She was the one character everyone had to admit had something with Clark the others didn't
Michael seemed to completely miss the point about having her or other meteor freaks on longer arcs. He hates the idea because he wants less meteor freaks. That's the whole point! If you make them deeper characters with actual story arcs they aren't just freaks of the week anymore! This was one of the most effective arcs of a character who wasn't a recurring guest for the season. Kudos to them for exploring what does it actually mean to seek redemption after burning through so many characters in a more formulaic and disposable way.
Ngl, I think Clark and Alicia had real feelings for each other at the time they were together in Smallville. The way they both look in each other’s eyes is special. Alicia and Clark were special together ❤😊
I don't think anyone was complaining about the makeout Vegas scene - I didn't. Both Tom and Sarah were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I loved Alicia!! This really should have been several episodes if not half the season. 😢❤
I am so glad that y’all got Sara on the podcast. Her character was dark yet delightful. The scenes between Lex and his father especially towards the end of the episode was so powerful. Tom and Alicia had great on screen chemistry. Impressive fencing skills Michael. I loved Clark Hans Solo moment when he says I know to her I love you. Annette gives a great disappointment look. That was one powerful scene. Also Chole saying she slept with a bow tie wearing Jimmy refers to Jimmy Olson from the comics. Jensen did a great job. Great performances by all. Y’all rock.
Sarah Carter was my celeb crush for a while after seeing her as Alicia. Not only is she so attractive, but she's also an incredibly convincing actress that I felt like she and Tom actually had feelings for each other. That's just good acting. Also, 20ish years later and she is still just plain gorgeous and her smile is infectious. I wish we would see more from her. ❤
How cool you got Sarah Carter! I love her dynamic with Clark, even though it gets twisted, there was a sweetness and innocence there that still made you care for her character and their relationship. And I was truly sad to see her fate, and the way it turned out for her. I think this and the next one are some of my favorite of season 4.
So the crew thought that Sarah Carter was real life Kryptonite for Tom Welling so they had to keep them apart off set. lol, Love it! Sarah was and is still absolutely incredible!
They were so hot together haha but Tom was married and they have this incredible show being watched by teens. So they have to prevent that or anything that may cause to ruin the show.
Just startted watching these in March. I finally caught up to the current episode. I loved Sarah in everything she did. Her character was so impactful on Clark, both emotionally and situationally. She was someone Clark could share with. Her death hurt him. So much so that he was brought to the edge of killing someone. Good use of Lois to talk him down. She got to see Clark in pain and as man of power. The Clark reveal to Chloe was one of my favorites ever.
This truly is an amazing Podcast. The greatest thing to ever happen to the Superman universe was Smallville. It is so cool to relive these episodes from the actor’s perspectives. Bravo Michael & Tom !
I've been waiting a long time for you to invite Sarah! Thank you, Michael, for the great work! All Smallville fans can enjoy chatting with their favorite characters! Find out the answers to many questions, the opinion of the actors themselves! I think only Smallville fans have this opportunity.
This podcast makes me happy. This is really what we all wanted. To see A reality where Clark and Lex remained best friends forever. Watching their relationship fall apart on the show was really sad. It's cool to see them as brothers now.
They were right! The way that Sarah nibbles a cup or bites her lip is so dreamy! Sarah Carter was amazing in the role and the impression she made was unforgettable. Clark got to be HIMSELF with Alicia, which you didn't get until Lois at the tail end of the series. The fact that people wanted her to remain is testament to the writing and delivery of Sarah's performance. The fact that we wanted her, added to the tragedy. Alicia also played an important tool in the development of the Clark and Chloe's relationship.
If I felt the incredible chemistry between Alice and Clark, I’m certain Sarah and Tom felt it too! I absolutely love the show, the podcast, and the amazing actors. Thank you all for giving us so many unforgettable moments!
I actually watched this episode again yesterday. Always loved Alicia's character, who certainly showed a change from season 3. Was so fun and sweet seeing her and Clark together happy, such as at the ice rink. I believe she certainly redeemed herself when she took the bullet for Clark to protect his secret from Dr. Mcbride. Sarah Carter is always such a lovely, beautiful actress and person. So happy you got to have her on this week.😀🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Still can't believe this podcast is a thing. Every couple years I find myself rewatching Smallville. Even though I was a toddler when the show was running, it was super influential. Also, this channel is growing to be HUGE
It's great. You can tell he's having a lot of fun goofing with Welling and Carter, mostly because he sees the same reactions we do in them: tittering embarrassment and horny curiosity in tandem. There's still chemistry there, which is...cool.
I don’t get how Michael dislikes this episode so much. I love all the Alisha episodes. She and Clark have suck good chemistry and the couple of episodes move a lot of plot for the show. I get why they couldn’t be together because if Superman lore, but I wish she had stuck around longer
That’s super cool that you guys are bringing patreons onto the show. I’m really enjoying watching your reactions to the episodes and also reminiscing over a show I loved so much when it aired. I totally binged and watch all 10 seasons after watching the first episode of talkville 🤣. Thanks so much for showing up every week 💕 Hope you all have a fabulous Easter long weekend!
I know people who have revolvers and they wouldn’t die on this hill. It is technically correct to say pistol. Saying clip instead of magazine, on the other hand, is actually incorrect in most cases
Great episode and it was lovely to see Sarah on the podcast and she definitely portrays the dreamy persona that her character Alicia had on the show. Thanks once again for giving us such an enjoyable and at times hilarious chat🤩
Yay! Sarah Carter! Grateful that you guys were able to get Sarah on the podcast because Alicia Baker is a special character! GREAT to hear so much about the ice skating rink scenes! "UNSAFE" is a very distinct episode, and even though you guys didn't get into all the different scenes, Tom is incredible as Clark throughout! Congratulations To Charu!
Yay Sarah Carter!!! Great actress; she knew how to bring the psycho and the sexy but most importantly, she made our dear Clark happy -- if only for a little while. Loving the podcast -- thank you guys for doing this for the fandom!!! You all rock!!! 🔥💛💙❤️💋💯
Absolute, total AWARD WINNING EPISODE! This one is an absolute keeper! After I saw this episode I immediately started looking her up. She has an absolutely wonderful singing voice. Someone tell me Tom wasn't in love with her from the get go, lol 😊
This episode was a perfect showcase of why Sarah Carter was one of the most popular guest stars ever on Smallville. She throws herself at everything and displays such a wide range of emotions. She makes Alicia cute, funny, sexy, vulnerable, tormented and menacing depending on what scene she's in with the greatest of ease. You can see why she was brought back. The fans loved her. Thank you for having her on the podcast! P.S. Tom's scene with Annette at the end of the episode is their second best ever (after Vengeance). So raw and emotional! P.P.S. First Jimmy Olsen reference on Smallville.
@@DarthDread-oh2ne Trust me, there's going to be A LOT of ranting at the comments section next week. It's not just her fate, it's the way it all happened and how inconsiderate EVERYONE apart from Chloe was after.
Great episode, so good to have Sarah on the podcast and hear her take on acting with Tom. This is one of my favourite episodes, I loved that Clark got to be free and enjoy himself for a change. He has so much loss e.g., skinwalker girl and has no one to share his real self with especialy since Pete left, it was good to see him having fun and they were so cute together. Alicia was adorable and they has great chemistry. It would've been great if Alicia had been on for more episodes, Clark deserved to have a happy relationship for a little while especially with someone who knew his secret and he could be himself with.
Love listening to the excitement of having Sarah Carter on. Whenever i rewatch the entire series over and over again, i like the chemistry with her character. This episode was a joy to watch
Oh man yes! So glad you guys managed to get Sarah Carter! For me she was hands down the best guest star the series ever had, and there were some very strong guest stars. Been hype for this ever since I got the patreon notice last Friday! You guys rock!
I just find it weird to have her on for this episode instead of the next one, and not talk to her directly about being killed off. Even for just a 3 episode arc, after all the chemistry and connection they had, she must have an opinion on that creative decision for her character.
OMG, she's so adorable. Loved her character Alicia; so glad they brought her back, she was made for the role, so glad she finally got to come up the show, and she is right about one of the reason why the show was successful was because of the super aspect of it - it wasn't the only thing but it was part of it, and I have rewatched Smallville many times, in fact I just did a season 8 re-watch and I love it, the effects are great and hold up . I remember watching her first appearance in Smallville as the good girl, so we thought, but it turned out she was abusive to her parents. Loved the fact she sneaked into Clark's room and became obsessive, then tried to kill Lana. Funny thing, the doctor shoots her when trying to kill Clark, then rushes over to see if she's okay, and then gets shoved thirty feet into the air by Clark; love that scene. I agree, her biting the cup was so hot-so hot! Her chemistry with Clark was kinetic; finally, Clark had someone who he could be around and not hide who he really is and same for her. No wonder Clark lost it when she was taken from him. I love Martha's reaction to finding out Clark ran out and got married - love her reaction she is an incredible actress.
This is my most-anticipated episode to watch. Sarah Carter is an amazing actress and I would have loved to have her back for more episodes. Alicia and Clark should have been the main relationship on chemistry alone. I wish she had gotten a larger role in Final Destination 2.
Can I just say that cutting to Tom giving that little head shake as Ryan describes him turning down an invitation to a hot tub party, is the most perfect reaction this show could ever produce 🤣🤣
@Talk Ville Podcast To all still wondering, in Alicia Baker's first episode, Obsession, she teleported back to the Kent home after being caught in Clark's bedroom. It was there that she learned from overhearing Jonathan Kent that Clark "gets sick" around meteor rocks. It's true that this only explains green kryptonite and not the red from the class ring, but we're at least getting closer to logical storytelling now. Alicia also "decorated" Clark's loft and school locker in that same episode. Point is, this girl teleports, stalks, spies and learns things. Clark, being so introspective, also seems like the type to journal about these things however irresponsible that might be. Also, could she have learned from other inmates during her time at Belle Reve perhaps?
This was a REALLY good episode and podcast! I loved the storyline between Clark and Alicia! I really enjoyed the interview with Sarah, it was interesting to hear her thoughts on the show and how Tom and her connected as actors. You can see how professional they were and yet how easy it was for everyone to become friends. 🙂
Hi Tom, Micheal and Ryan!! Thanks for bring Sarah on the pod!! She is amazing, i just adore her! Tom you and Sarah had such a great chemistry, I am still so sad that Alicia hadn't a bigger part on the show😥. I really liked Unsafe because show a side of Clark we never see, the relationship between Clark and Alicia is my second favourite of all the show, the first one is the one with Lois, You and Erika for me are the one and only Clark and Lois🥰 Thanks again for this amazing podcast, keep rocking guys! Hugs from Italy
🌹🌹🌹YAY Sarah Carter as guest 🤗🤗🤗 her portrayal of Alicia was PERFECTION 👏👏👏 loved how on-point the guys are today: Michael very engaged and catching so much, and yes Tom great note about juxtaposition of the 2 (almost) sex scenes (the writers were on fire for this ep!) sidenote: love how Tom is simultaneously enjoying and embarrassed by Michael's comments (and voices smh lol) 😂 so cute! their banter and relationship is such a treat! the BTS was so so good today! how great that WB appreciated her presence! beautiful notes about Alicia's character nuances, and the incredible chemistry w Clark and the intimacy of feeling comfortable w each other and feeling accepted, and "young love". omg they told her to "keep it on set" ! well I guess that answers the question if the character chemistry spilled over into real life and the how the professional chemistry between actors can translate (sometimes transforming) into attraction. really great guest questions today from Michael and loved the energy between Sarah and Tom and Michael. Points to Michael! I think he is finally accepting Smallville for as it is and not for what he wishes it to be and maybe that's why I feel he's moving away from that negativity he was really down in for a while. (hopefully didn't speak too soon) but it really makes the podcast more enjoyable when he's on board. so cool the video call w a fan! thank you for bringing it up about Alicia's knowing of Red K, I've been trying to figure that out since my first watch lol... really appreciated their conversation and discussing the plot and story arcs. To answer Michael's question about why come back for more despite moments that weren't great: those moments were so few and far between. the series is so well done on so many different levels despite the limitations of the time and budget and all the road blocks along the way. it's just an impressive show. the first few seasons were so cinematic! and the last few seasons were so fan-satisfying...I've been a Superman fan since I was 5yrs old crying that the movie was over lol. and of course All Hail to Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman, but Michael's performance of Lex was so good and without apology I'll say that Tom's performance was the BEST Clark Kent. Ever. wow they rated lower than I was expecting! lol...I originally gave it 2 roses and then bumped it up to 3 after dissecting all the elements, so interesting that they bumped it up but this is def an ep I would show someone who had never seen the show (although I think we're moving away from that metric cuz now the show has progressed to the point that you really would have to start earlier lol) 🌹🌹🌹Really glad for this podcast and you guys make it feel like we're part of the conversation with you ❤️
Well said! I had to give it 🌹🌹🌹 roses too! I think their scale is more on the storyline when it should be moments. And there were just way too many good moments to make this an epic episode!
Then Unsafe happened and I WANTED ALICIA BAKER IN THE SHOW SO HARD. They chemistry was unbelievable. It was a nuclear-like chemistry. Heat, destruction, creation all at once. I'm from Brazil and I felt it from here, in a total other continent. I know that Tom was merried before with Jamie and I knew that at that time but despite that I whished so much that Tom and Sarah even came along romantically speaking out of the set. Those strange things that fans cheers for, you know hahahahahaha
Yesssss I always loved watching the episodes with Alicia. It’s crazy that she was only featured on three episodes! When I remember smallville she stands out. & the next episode almost always makes me cry. It’s one of the most emotional scenes in smallville for me.
This episode hit so close to home I can't even believe how emotional it made me while watching it and even some things brought up with Sarah and Toms conversation here about how damaging certain love can be for young hearts just really punched me in the heart. Such amazing writing and acting for sure🤟
That Alison Mack fact where she urged teens to practice safe sex is so morbidly ironic it's hilarious but in a very dark way. Ryan's reaction was also funny.
I very much appreciated the dark humor of it on rewatch. I had forgotten it was on THIS episode. The guys basically didn't talk at all about that storyline, which was admittedly very afterschool special. I don't know what I expected I guess I just figured they might make SOME direct acknowledgement that the PSA at the end was ridiculous for multiple reasons instead of sort of grimacing until the conversation moved on.
Omg my favorite crush from Smallville in addition to Lois like wow she is just exquisitely beautiful on a whole other level! The hair flipped over during the podcast 😮 🔥🥰😍🤩 wish I could meet her in real life! She was definitely a favorite from the show for me
I was looking forward to you inviting her for her episodes! She had a great character, it was refreshing to see a character like her in Clark's life. I really enjoyed her appearances on Smallville!
Man, I had a humongous crush on Alicia! 😅 Her redemption was so well written, I wish she could have been a regular on the show. Sarah is amazing, stellar class and gorgeous!
Smallville was my show growing up! Watched from beginning to end as it aired, and it’s like yesterday that this episode came out! It’s so memorable! I agree the fact that she wasn’t just another freak of the week and that they gave her character an actual heavy storyline for Clark’s character I felt really amplified the maturity of this season! Love and feeling connection play a huge role in Clark’s story and they did such a good job expressing those emotions in this episode and the next. But you also have to give it to Sarah Carter! Had such a crush on her when she was in this show! Even I was jealous Tom welling got to share screen time with her! Still such a beautiful and charismatic woman! You can tell she has a lot of love to give and I strongly believe Tom and her had actual chemistry while shooting! I’m no intimacy expert but you can feel the tension STILL from those two in this interview as if there was unresolved feelings that never got to fully be explored! The fact they they had to be kept apart was definitely a sign 😂
Great podcast, guys. ❤️ Loved the interview with Sarah. I have recently watched Smallville all the way through for the first time, so it's cool to revisit these episodes when they are still fresh in my mind. Michael and Tom's interactions remind me of my husband (who's 47) and myself (44) while I was watching the show these past few months . My husband watched Smallville during its original run with his mom, who passed away 2012 (which is one reason why Smallville has a special place in his heart,) and I'm here watching it for the first time. During every episode, my husband is making funny comments towards the characters' left and right while I'm absorbing the story and the character development. 😅 I hope you guys continue this Podcast until the end of Season 10, because honestly my favorite scenes are the Lois and Clark interactions. But for this season 4 episode, I really liked the point that was made about Clark and Alicia being an example of young love, feeling different and out of place and finding someone who understands. Also, when Clark's mom yells at him - wow. I felt that in my soul. LOL. I have a new appreciation for this episode as I watched this podcast today. 👍❤️
This was a favorite episode of mine, I always loved Sarah Carters character Alicia Baker. Her and Clark’s young romance was spontaneous and very innocent at the same time. Two teenagers with a budding love story. All three episodes she was in was magical. 🌹🌹 roses for sure.
Clark running into Alicia in like season 8 just long enough to find out she got her shit together would have been something different that you just don't see often
Iirc she dies in the next episode Pariah, not before facilitating one of the big consequential moments of the shows - showing Chloe Clark's secret and her choosing to not confront him until at least a season later
I appreciated this episode for showing like, yes, she probably HAS been cured to some degree of her sociopathy and isn't a threat to society anymore. Can't believe Michael equated being released from mental health treatment to a murderer getting early release from prison, okay Mr mental health podcast guy! But recovery is a journey not a checkbox. She is clearly still not in a stable place, hence mucho drama this episode. But it's her doctor's possessive relationship with her stunting her rehabilitation - to be honest, a wrench in the episode that really kept it from its potential of genuinely exploring mental health. She played that line of somewhat but not totally mentally well, really well!
Then the next episode takes it a step further to genuinely no "abnormal" behavior. Just one HUGE decision borne out of the natural frustration of a young person who feels unfairly treated.
SARAH CARTER IS STILL SMOKIN
GOOD LORD SHE IS FIRE 🔥🔥
When I saw her later in other things, I called her always Teleporter Girl!

Sarah Carter as Alicia was one of the most memorable characters from Smallville for me. So glad you had her on! 😊
Sarah Carter is my absolute favourite Smallville guest star. ❤
Absolutely.
I don't think that was her exit from the show. I think she's in one more episode and... she doesn't go out like a hero
She was the one character everyone had to admit had something with Clark the others didn't
looking forward to next episode. big one
Both Tom and Sarah were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved Alicia!! This really should have been several episodes if not half the season. 😢❤
Her character(that did not become a regular) had the most impact on Clark than anyone else
Y’all rock.
this ep was on fire 🔥 fantastic performances, writing was tight, whole range of emotions. just so well done
She was my girl crush!!
Her smile had me seeing stars 🤩
I think they did have feelings tbh
Sarah Clark. Totally Hot and sexy. Where she was bitting the cup and her smile.wow
I agree. Tom and Sarah had excellent chemistry. The episodes with Sarah in them were some of my favorites.
One of my favorite two parters of the whole show. And Ive loved Sarah Carter ever since Smallville. Glad to see you got her on the show!
It's one of my favorite episodes... I love the interaction in the ice skating and hot coco scene... Sarah Carter was a fan favorite!
Someone should compare Michael's ratings to his screen time per episode lmao
Sarah has not aged a day omg such a great guest actor for these episodes and allowed Clark to open up the most.
She's the same age as my friend's older brother but her character was a couple years younger then us.
This brings me so much joy. So glad yall got Sarah on the show ❤
hahahahaha "Anettes performance was realy good in that scene" and Tom being like "YEEE SHE WAS GREAT THANKS RYAN!" :'D
“If you noticed we are wearing different clothes….. you’re smart.” Made me lol.
It’s hilarious how Michael keeps bringing up the romance between Tom and Sarah’s characters. Lol
It's great. You can tell he's having a lot of fun goofing with Welling and Carter, mostly because he sees the same reactions we do in them: tittering embarrassment and horny curiosity in tandem. There's still chemistry there, which is...cool.
the balloons for Tom when he was choosing the scene was golden. lol
Tom: “its a revolver”
Everyone else: 🙄
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A revolver is still a pistol. So Tom was just wrong. Not sure where he heard that
@@KBWrecker Someone who handles firearms would call a revolver "a revolver"
if you know why they do this you should understand what Tom is saying.
They did Alicia dirty.
@@DarthDread-oh2neYeah the next ep was like 😢
I wrote A better ending for Alicia.
@@DarthDread-oh2ne Trust me, there's going to be A LOT of ranting at the comments section next week. It's not just her fate, it's the way it all happened and how inconsiderate EVERYONE apart from Chloe was after.
That’s because Chloe was their baby, they sidelined two characters from the comics and undermined two great characters for her.
Toms look of confusion with the facetime balloons at the end was priceless 😂😂😂 1:05:18
So good to see Sarah carter again!. Love this podcast!. Thank you for making this.
I will never forgive them for what they did to Alicia. 😢
Also, fun fact: Sarah was on The Flash as the villain in one season.
I remember that 🤘
We loved Sarah because she made Clark smile. He had so little happy moments and there he was, smiling. We always talk about it
Michael didn’t like the episode because he’s STILL jealous all these years later of clarks and Sarah’s chemistry 😂 😊
This is my most-anticipated episode to watch. Sarah Carter is an amazing actress and I would have loved to have her back for more episodes. Alicia and Clark should have been the main relationship on chemistry alone. I wish she had gotten a larger role in Final Destination 2.
Yeah if only she had been the Lana replacement the show would have been insanely better.
Toms reaction to "pound town" 😂
Alicia was such an integral part of Clark becoming Superman, loved the arc she had. Glad she could be on the pod
Been looking forward to this one, so glad it's RosenTom Wednesday.
I really enjoy Ryan's point of view, watching for the 1st time
Can I just say that cutting to Tom giving that little head shake as Ryan describes him turning down an invitation to a hot tub party, is the most perfect reaction this show could ever produce 🤣🤣
@Talk Ville Podcast
To all still wondering, in Alicia Baker's first episode, Obsession, she teleported back to the Kent home after being caught in Clark's bedroom.
This tracks! Her obsession, wanting to know all she can about him, wouldn’t take a big leap of faith to believe her spying on Clark,
This two episode set is one of my favorites in the whole series
Best scene was Clark and Alicia ice-skating. Both so happy and care-free.
This is one of my favorite episodes and I knew the special guest was going to be Sarah. Let's go
Hi Tom, Micheal and Ryan!!
I loved having the patron guest . You guys should do that much more often.
🌹🌹🌹YAY Sarah Carter as guest 🤗🤗🤗 her portrayal of Alicia was PERFECTION 👏👏👏
loved how on-point the guys are today: Michael very engaged and catching so much, and yes Tom great note about juxtaposition of the 2 (almost) sex scenes (the writers were on fire for this ep!)
sidenote: love how Tom is simultaneously enjoying and embarrassed by Michael's comments (and voices smh lol) 😂 so cute! their banter and relationship is such a treat!
the BTS was so so good today! how great that WB appreciated her presence! beautiful notes about Alicia's character nuances, and the incredible chemistry w Clark and the intimacy of feeling comfortable w each other and feeling accepted, and "young love".
omg they told her to "keep it on set" ! well I guess that answers the question if the character chemistry spilled over into real life and the how the professional chemistry between actors can translate (sometimes transforming) into attraction.
really great guest questions today from Michael and loved the energy between Sarah and Tom and Michael.
Ever.
wow they rated lower than I was expecting! lol...I originally gave it 2 roses and then bumped it up to 3 after dissecting all the elements, so interesting that they bumped it up but this is def an ep I would show someone who had never seen the show (although I think we're moving away from that metric cuz now the show has progressed to the point that you really would have to start earlier lol)
🌹🌹🌹Really glad for this podcast and you guys make it feel like we're part of the conversation with you ❤️
Well said! I had to give it 🌹🌹🌹 roses too! I think their scale is more on the storyline when it should be moments. And there were just way too many good moments to make this an epic episode!
Loved Sarah on Falling Skies. Big fan since Smallville
"I just can't believe that you're like me. I mean, not exactly like me, but just...like me. You know?" - Alicia Baker to Clark Kent
that's it
This episode hit so close to home I can't even believe how emotional it made me while watching it and even some things brought up with Sarah and Toms conversation here about how damaging certain love can be for young hearts just really punched me in the heart. Such amazing writing and acting for sure🤟
"In the ring, I never really knew fear." =Toms hoodie is dope!
That Alison Mack fact where she urged teens to practice safe sex is so morbidly ironic it's hilarious but in a very dark way. Ryan's reaction was also funny.
I forgot about that. I was wondering about their reaction. Lol.
Haahahahahahaa she makes some remarks throughout the show and it made me realize how ironic her role was ahahahaha
Omg my favorite crush from Smallville in addition to Lois like wow she is just exquisitely beautiful on a whole other level! The hair flipped over during the podcast 😮 🔥🥰😍🤩 wish I could meet her in real life! She was definitely a favorite from the show for me
One of my all time favorite episodes. It always brings a tear to my eyes.
Micheal biting that cup was way too good 😂😂😂
I was looking forward to you inviting her for her episodes! She had a great character, it was refreshing to see a character like her in Clark's life. I really enjoyed her appearances on Smallville!
Michael I didn’t know I needed your impression of Stallone and for that I thank you ❤😂
Ryan’s reaction to Allyson Mack’s PSA had me in stitches😂
FINALLY! I've been waiting for this episode. I watch this episode at least once a year.
From Smallville to Falling Skies to The Flash as Cicada. She is so friggin awesome
Sarah Carter❤️ lmao you called it Rosie we all gotta crush on her
Man, I had a humongous crush on Alicia! 😅 Her redemption was so well written, I wish she could have been a regular on the show. Sarah is amazing, stellar class and gorgeous!
Rosey, you need to make the possibility of hosting Sarah Carter on Inside of You a reality. Do it for The People!
No way should Clark's parents have been upset when Clark was on red K. That's like being pissed off at your kids actions when they were roofied.
I hope you guys continue this Podcast until the end of Season 10, because honestly my favorite scenes are the Lois and Clark interactions. 👍❤️
The chemistry between Tom and Sarah in their episodes together was undeniable. Had the internet been what it is now, it would have been insane.
Alicia was dead already
