Yeah he played with him his three season when he won rookie of the Year. Then they traded him to Baltimore the next season he had Devin futches and Ted Ginn
They are only horrifying if Stefan is happy. If he decides to be upset, he might just take the whole season off and just run out there like he’s in practice. This is why a bunch of other teams did not try to trade for him. There must have been some serious issues that the other owners and GM knew about.
It’s crazy how people think the only things that matter when evaluating QBs are super bowls (the ultimate team achievement in the ultimate team game) and a subjective, media-driven award. Who cares about data or metrics designed to measure individual performance when evaluating…individuals? We have all lost our minds regarding QBs.
Because everyone for years has said Josh Allen is the best QB in the league, said he’s MVP, said he’s an all time great, despite having accomplished basically nothing. But when Nick pushes back on it, he’s a hater? Nah.
Josh Allen has been the medias puppy for the last 4 years and has NOTHING to show for it 0 MVP’s, 0 SBA’s. Despite this for the last 4 years, every single year the bills have been the favorite to win the Super Bowl….why?
Bills have been projected to have the 2nd most wins since 2021. Only 1 combined projected loss more than the Chiefs who have been to 4 Superbowls and won 3 lol. The gap between his hype and his production is crazy and Nick has been the most accurate on him the entire time. He's still top 5 QB but the fact people really thought he was #1 despite several accomplishing much more was laughable
@@bernyourhartyah steve smith was just garbage right? Cam had 193 career pass TD to 123 career interceptions. Allens currently at 167-78. Math says Allen has a better ratio.
Allen excelled with Diggs and Davis basically invisible during the last 12 games of the year. With these two gone, a solid #2 now on the books, and a younger faster #1 on the way, I think he’s going to be just fine.
Josh has high highs and low lows. People love to forget the low lows for some reason. I still think he is one of the best in the league but we cant just forget about the downsides
The reason we know early on QBs now is because the QB position is easier to play than it used to be. Its entirely in the QBs hands and the defense is praying for mistakes.
My take on the entire Josh Allen discussion is: Over the last 4 years Josh has been slightly overrated as a regular season quarterback. But Josh Allen in the post season is starting to get really underrated. He simply is an absoulte all time great playoff performer. All his passing stats are ridiculous and he is the Best running qb threat of all time up to this point in the playoffs. The Bills have underperformed but Josh Allen has done the opposite.
Numbers say otherwise. How many running QBs have won the SB? I make is easy on you, ZERO. Running QB want hide the fact you aren't very good at playing out of the pocket. In the NFL sooner or later you have to make plays from the pocket. Not bonehead plays like Allen.
One moment they should run the ball more with their backs to take some of the offense responsibility off of Allen. Now they do that and now the coaching staff doesn't have confidence in their QB.
Yes, Nick, having a running game helps any QB. He treats other players so differently than "his guys." I just wonder how it would be if Allen was with Andy Reid and Mahomes had a defensive head coach his whole career....
@bethanygee6939 I'm not saying he wouldn't be good. Allen is very good. You can't tell me Reid hasn't played a part, though, and that Allen wouldn't be a lot better with Reid.
I believe this trade was a blessing in disguise for the Bills and Josh Allen. While the Bills were a potent offense with Diggs at times, they had a hit or miss type mentality offense. The Bills have all the pieces on offense to be more dynamic and efficient. Few teams have a legit pass catching rb/te dynamic and the Bills have one with Cook/Kincaid. Just look at the Lions offense. That alone can compensate for a weak WR room at the moment. Anyone who has played the game of football understands this. Elite running backs and tight ends together in the passing game can draw attention and put pressure on linebackers and safeties which open things up more for average WR's. Do we need Stefon Diggs? Naw not really. Besides, he's regressed in his route running ability and seperation skills which is why we have moved on from him. Curtis Samuel provides that electric run after catch threat that this offense has been missing for awhile now. Lots of underneath stuff for him via screens, jet sweeps, ect. The Bills will prolly need to draft a legit outside WR in round 1 but it's prolly a lock at this point now. Allen will continue to be the best QB in the NFL and book another playoff birth this year.
By definition the peak is the single most point of highest achievement. Which translates to not a stretch of seasons but one season at the most. And broussard persist in pushing a narrative as a given that Josh Allen's the top five quarterback as if it's not debatable. Well that's one man's opinion perhaps more than one but that's all it is is an opinion
Completely disagree with Nick and I think it’s cause his philosophy on qb’s is off. Most quarterbacks need development in general, even the ultra talented ones. CJ will probably be very good next season, but if he does happen to slip a little bit it wouldn’t surprise me. Guys put up way too much expectation on the quarterbacks shoulders when they are fresh in the league.
I think the Bills got the better end of this trade. Diggs is older, declining, and has a bad attitude. And with how deep the 2024 draft is at WR, the Texans would have been better off drafting a WR and acquiring another defensive player through trade or free agency. But I do think the Texans are top contenders in the AFC (along with the Ravens) to challenge the Chiefs.
Question is, did Diggs help or ruin the Buffalo Bills chemistry with his drama from time to time? Time will tell. Good luck Texans dealing with that after a "team first" year.
Lamar being a two time league MVP being on the same level with Allen is laughable. Saying he is a better passer also is not proven by stats. Since 2018 Josh Allen has an average passer rating of 92.2, Lamar Jackson has an average of 98, with his lowest year coming in 2018 when it was 84.5, that same year Allen also had his lowest at 67.9. Allen has 78 interceptions in that time frame, Jackson has 45. Over that same span Allen’s highest completion percentage for a single year was 69.2 in 2020, Lamar’s was 67.2 in 2023. 2 league MVPs speak volumes.
I aint a Josh Allen guy as a patriots fan but the guy is clearly a top 5 QB in the league so i have no idea why Nick gets so annoyed with him...i can only assume its because other people like him and Nick thinks everyone should just rim Mahomes...Allen is just basically the Manning and Mahomes is the Brady of this era...great QBs and one has a better situation than the other...if you put Allen with KC and Mahomes with Buffalo i don't think it changes which team wins the most titles
Of course the bills needed to run more. They were close to the very bottom of run percentage. You can't throw the ball effectively if you don't have a run game. Football 101.
So now Nick considers cap hit when talking about the "most valuable players" in the league in regards to Stroud, but all during last season refused to hold that take when discussing Purdy as a potential MVP candidate. Mr. consistency?
One the few rare aspect of Nick I don't like is when he gets caught out on a take that shows his position to be hypocritical and inconsistent like with the 'We know pretty early about players these days.' And Brou mentioning the Prince Nick will get snide and petulant and do this debate tactic thing of 'Oh I didn't realise we were talking about THAT today! We can if you want?! But since we prepared THIS discussion let's have THIS discussion today and we can do THAT one later! OKAY?!' As though EVERY conversation isn't expanded on due to off the cuff comments and random comparisons... It's very, unpleasant to watch, shows a lack of impulse control and he did the EXACT same thing a little while back whilst criticising someone and Wildes brought up how that same criticism would apply to Mahomes and Nick lost it in the exact same way. Actually it seems Wildes gets under Nick's skin a lot because Nick will say things to Wildes he'd never say to Brou. There's actual a subtle amount of needle occasionally in what Nick says to Wildes because he'll go after Wildes reasoning/thinking rather than what's wrong with the take itself. And because Wildes will choose to deescalate 99% of the time, usually by making a self-deprecating joke, I think Nick has got the impression Wildes doesn't actually have an argument to defend his take with. That kind of behaviour on Nick's part has subtle school bullying vibes to me, where the aggressive/violent kid will go after the passive/pacifist kid and because he doesn't fight back the bullying gets the impression the other kid isn't CAPABLE of fighting back. Obviously it's not as severe as that, but that's the 'thinking' behind it I believe and is what bothers me. If you don't believe me or think I'm exaggerating just keep an eye out for it, you'll see it. Thankfully it doesn't happen every episode but it is still there.
Josh Allen. 221 total TDs in his first 6 years in the league. The most ALL TIME in that period. What are we talking about? Top 5? He’s the best player in football now, hands down. What will these clowns say if he ends his career with the most of the most important individual stat you can have - TDs. MVP is a popularity contest, who cares? TDs don’t lie. What’s a step back? 40 TDs? Clowns.
It's easy for a fan to get complacent and start running their mouth when they get used to seeing their team win no matter what. Josh Allen is a bigger threat than Brock Purdy will ever be.
You can always tell Nick feels a bit threatened by Allen because when you watch the Cheifs and Bills play, I personally believe Allen looks better than Mahomes a lot of the time. Mahomes has a much better coach and organization behind him.
I don’t get the Nick hate, he criticizes Josh just like everyone criticizes Lamar with his actually achievements. No one wants to admit Josh Allen needs to be like Lamar to succeed but they glorifying his passing numbers. The same way they used the argument when diggs was eating they were losing when Allen and bills were running they were winning that’s an indictment of the qb as a passer not just the wr
Nick says buffalo runs the ball because they don't trust allen. Is that why Andy Reid ran 20 plus times a game in the playoffs and superbowl because he don't trust mahomes? Makes no sense bro. You can make the numbers look anyway you want to
Don't ever put Josh Allen's running ability in the same breath as Lamar. I don't care about stats or none of that. That man will never be as dynamic as Lamar is running the ball

Josh must have stolen his car. Seriously don't get his HATE for him. It's stupid.
So corny it’s like he knows him personally
Because everyone for years has said Josh Allen is the best QB in the league, said he’s MVP, said he’s an all time great, despite having accomplished basically nothing. But when Nick pushes back on it, he’s a hater? Nah.
Josh Allen has been the medias puppy for the last 4 years and has NOTHING to show for it 0 MVP’s, 0 SBA’s. Despite this for the last 4 years, every single year the bills have been the favorite to win the Super Bowl….why?
Nick is so offended that anyone would DAREE compare another quarterback to Mahomes
How is Josh Allen better than Cam with nothing to show for it with much better rosters, coaching, and front office? Doesn't make sense to me.
cAuSe He HAs tHe arM TAleNt😂😂😂
Completion percentage for one
@@corning1Yeah does that include in those completions Allen throws to the other team and Cam never had a WR like Diggs.
@@bernyourhartyah steve smith was just garbage right? Cam had 193 career pass TD to 123 career interceptions. Allens currently at 167-78. Math says Allen has a better ratio.
Same amount of SB rings
Allen excelled with Diggs and Davis basically invisible during the last 12 games of the year. With these two gone, a solid #2 now on the books, and a younger faster #1 on the way, I think he’s going to be just fine.
Cam had far less help than Allen
Fax
Josh has high highs and low lows. People love to forget the low lows for some reason. I still think he is one of the best in the league but we cant just forget about the downsides
They give Nick a whole segment to hate 😂
The reason we know early on QBs now is because the QB position is easier to play than it used to be. Its entirely in the QBs hands and the defense is praying for mistakes.
Cam better than Josh? Stop.
Nick hay what about the chiefs receiver haven't heard you mention him
Nick just needs to admit Josh is better than Mahomes. Don't be afraid Nick.
There’s no chance Nick really brought up passer rating… moving the goal posts once again
My take on the entire Josh Allen discussion is:
Over the last 4 years Josh has been slightly overrated as a regular season quarterback.
Nick 😂😂 blood oath😂😂
One moment they should run the ball more with their backs to take some of the offense responsibility off of Allen. Now they do that and now the coaching staff doesn't have confidence in their QB.
Yes, Nick, having a running game helps any QB. He treats other players so differently than "his guys." I just wonder how it would be if Allen was with Andy Reid and Mahomes had a defensive head coach his whole career....
Pretty sure Mahomes would have excelled no matter what, but Allen might be better in that situation.
@bethanygee6939 I'm not saying he wouldn't be good. Allen is very good. You can't tell me Reid hasn't played a part, though, and that Allen wouldn't be a lot better with Reid.
Why is almost 10 minutes of this video focused on the Bills instead of the Texans lol
Because they already talked about the Texans side of it in a different segment
Seems like diggs disappears when they need him the most
because his numbers down means he wasn’t affective? so what about the game plan the way they treat black receivers is ridiculous
As a player I think Josh will still be excellent and hopefully without the turnovers
But as a team, they’ve got some problems to fix
Maybe they will trade for Aiyuke
4:11 I mean technically he has 4 seasons above average. 16th is above average in the NFL
Question is, did Diggs help or ruin the Buffalo Bills chemistry with his drama from time to time? Time will tell. Good luck Texans dealing with that after a "team first" year.
Josh Was 1st in most TD in the NFL last year
Lamar being a two time league MVP being on the same level with Allen is laughable.
Mahomes
Burrow (when healthy)
CJ
Nick Wright just called
Josh Allen & Lamar Jackson
Dak Prescott (indirectly) 🤣🤣🤣
weird ranking when Josh Allen and Lamar have been consistently better than the bottom two.
I agree with Nick
Josh Allen= modern day Tony Romo
The cam did respect is crazy cam came in throwing for 4000 yards and carrying a team with no true #1 Josh Allen looked pitiful before digs got there
Wait I thought Nick didn’t care about passer rating??
Of course the bills needed to run more. They were close to the very bottom of run percentage. You can't throw the ball effectively if you don't have a run game. Football 101.
So now Nick considers cap hit when talking about the "most valuable players" in the league in regards to Stroud, but all during last season refused to hold that take when discussing Purdy as a potential MVP candidate. Mr. consistency?
terrible argument, it’s so bad i don’t even feel like correcting you 😭
One the few rare aspect of Nick I don't like is when he gets caught out on a take that shows his position to be hypocritical and inconsistent like with the 'We know pretty early about players these days.' And Brou mentioning the Prince Nick will get snide and petulant and do this debate tactic thing of 'Oh I didn't realise we were talking about THAT today! We can if you want?! But since we prepared THIS discussion let's have THIS discussion today and we can do THAT one later! OKAY?!'
As though EVERY conversation isn't expanded on due to off the cuff comments and random comparisons...
I think Josh will be better this year without the dogs pressure mark my words
40 TDs?
Clowns.
Nick talks about Josh Allen like he’s literal garbage when he’s the only one to have made Mahomes sweat in his career, so bizarre.
Mahomes has a much better coach and organization behind him.
lol
I told y'all diggs was out the door when he got low yardage and less plays for him
I don’t get the Nick hate, he criticizes Josh just like everyone criticizes Lamar with his actually achievements. No one wants to admit Josh Allen needs to be like Lamar to succeed but they glorifying his passing numbers. The same way they used the argument when diggs was eating they were losing when Allen and bills were running they were winning that’s an indictment of the qb as a passer not just the wr
“Is he Lamar?” Oh c’mon Nick, I love you man but this is insane. Josh Allen is clearly better than Lamar. Jesus.
Yea he lost me with that. Allen runs sporadically. Lamar runs with more of a purpose if that makes sense.
@SuperGetmoney15 josh allen has by far the most touchdowns. He's better at sack avoidance than lamar. Is derek henry not as good of a rb as any other because he doesn't make quick cuts?
@@crustybs46 hes not as dynamic running as lamar. hes just not.

Passer rating? How about QBR?
who cares
You heard 👂 it here 1st as soon as Diggs feels he’s not involved enough in the offense. He will become a distraction I feel sorry for CJ.!!
Don’t feel sorry for CJ he’s primed for a 5k yard season now ! Diggs will be happy now that he has an accurate QB that doesn’t throw all those air mails into the stands & 18 ints !
@@michaelharris6441 Yeah if only diggs could catch 😆
Over 100 catches in 5 of the last 6 seasons…each of those over 1k yards with 67 career TD … yeah the bum can’t play 😂
Josh will have a great season not having to force it to a diva
Nick is so pro-Chiefs that he can't see other QBs very objectively, especially Josh Allen. Ridiculous. Brou is hilarious! Nice guy, but his "I think" takes are 10% stats and 90% "My gut tells me" takes. Can't take his reads seriously in any way.
