Yes, his numbers as a pure passer are very much a rollercoaster. If you use his QBR which take into account other facets of the game that he excel in and influence the game just as much as throwing it, then its not as up and down. He will have 3 or 4 great games in a row, it's just some of them are more scrambling based than pure pocket passer based. Not much of this is based on this season though lol

Obviously, everyone knows that 13 seconds playoff game was a brutal hit to the Bills franchise but one of the worst things to come out of that game for them was actually the belief that Gabe Davis could be a legitimate WR2. That game was an aberration for him, he should be a WR3.
Whoever they make #2, he'll end up just like Gabe Davis. Davis has 16 yards per catch for his CAREER. Meaning they either ask him to run long routes all the time or that Allen will only throw to him when he sees him run long routes. That's not easy on a receiver.
Well said! It also shows a problem with Beane and McDermott. They keep investing so much cap in defense. At the deadline, they get defense and washed up running back. They draft DBs every freaking year. No #2 WR.

I think it's a fair segment. They're not saying Allen's toast, though the Bills as a team may be this year. If they replace the head coach who knows what next year might be like. As long as Allen is healthy he will be dangerous. It'll be interesting to see if he can rebound.

As a Patriots fan I knew the moment Brian Daboll (also an ex Patriots coach) left Buffalo, Allen would go back to looking like the qb he was before Brain Daboll got there.

They rank 26th in turnovers per drive (0.16), but as the Bills showed Monday night, sometimes there’s nothing that a coach can do to prevent turnovers from happening.
Not sure why the OC is being fired when its Running backs fumbling and Allen throwing an absurd amount of interceptions that is costing the team wins, not the play calling.

Broncos Country was drooling at any chance to get Josh Allen. Because the best comp is like young John Elway. ABSOLUTE cannon for an arm, big boy who can truck someone, fierce competitor who wants to make the big throw. Alot of people were hoping we would get Allen while Elway was still involved with the operations- thinking he might be able to bring the Elway out of him.
