You know how a song can be a reference point in your life? Well, my sister left for her freshman year of college the year this came out. She went to Marywood college in Scranton Pennsylvania (at the time, an all girl school). We went to pick her up for the holidays and she informed me that the school (Marywood) ...unbeknownst to her, was a complete lesbian retreat. She also told me that Solsbury Hill was like the lezbo anthem at Marywood. She didn't last there. That was my little Solsbury Hill lesbian story. Hope you liked it. ...hence Solsbury Hill will always be an anthem for lesbians in my mind.
