This is why I love Sensui, he's so topsy turvy. Like when we first encounter him he's a calm, eloquent, charismatic figure. But then he turns into psychopathic Kazuya with a friggin gun on his hand and we find out we haven't even met the real Shinobu. Who turns out to be the most powerful and unhinged personality out of all 7.
Shinobu is his original self (also the most powerful one w/ sacred energy), Minoru is the negotiator/manipulator personality. He has other personalities as well for different purposes (or to keep his original personality "sane").
@@anon3631Let me clarify my question. My question is how are they different? Minoru is a manipulator but Shinobu is ALSO a manipulator. Minoru knows martial arts and Shinobu is ALSO a martial artist. The only difference is sacred energy, but personality wise, they both seem exactly the same. Even their VOICES are the same.
@@darkvalue505 It's all a matter of degree. Remember what Itsuki said: _" _*_In Shinobu's reality_*_ , he has never committed a crime"._ The Minoru personality was created to engage in levels of manipulation and deceit that Shinobu consciously felt uncomfortable doing himself. The fact that Shinobu's original personality actually does engage in trickery and manipulation at least to some extent exposes his own hypocrisy.
@@darkvalue505 That being said, there are some significant differences between the two personalities. Minoru likes to talk and screw with his opponent's heads during fights while Shinobu prefers to let his fists speak for him. Additionally, Shinobu (for all his flaws) adheres rigidly to his own code of honor even when committing savage acts of violence (much like Younger Toguro).
That voice actor was excellent.

Robert is so good at voicing villains. I'm so excited to hear him as Doflamingo in the Dressrosa saga of One Piece.
Listen to him as Date Masamune in Sengoku Basara
This is the same guy that voices Reiner!?!?

This reminds me of young Daniel vs Terry silver in anime form 😮
So what's the difference between Minoru and Shinobu? They both can fight. They both laugh maniacally. So, can anyone explain.
