how do you tell a story in a world with no good guys?

  • there might be a reason why people like the villains in your stories more than the the protagonists - you've made them interesting.
    it's the same with your world. making a side purely "good" or "bad" can make your story/game feel like a young adult novel and end up being pretty unrealistic.
    pure evil is a tool. use it well, instead of painting with it as a broad brush.

    Dude i know it was a throwaway line but i never got the "YA novels handwave x adult thing" like, i remember the novels i read when i read YA. That shit was brutal and descriptive and unambiguous.
