Hi. Thanks for sharing. I am going to use your recipe. By the way, some recipes talk about butting the Turkey in a brine. What does the brining do? Did you brine yours or do you think it’s not necessary?
We have not had a real Thanksgiving dinner since my wife passed in Oct 2021. I will be attempting this for the first time. Wish me luck. I miss her so much and miss having a woman in the house.
I made this Turkey last year and when I tell you people were FIGHTING over the scraps😭 that was my first time making a Turkey too. It was 25lbs of perfection!! There were no leftovers😂 and a year later people are still fussing about not getting a to go plate. Safe to say this is now a family recipe and my husband will not let me use another one lol in fact he has been talking about this Turkey all year and how I better make it again 😩😂thank you for this! ❤

My son & I canceled Thanksgiving plans with our family due to possible coved. We decided to make our very own 1st Thx Giving Turkey ourselves... thx to your recipe & easy instructions our Turkey was a hit, it was moist & tasty . although it was just the 2 of us" it didn't matter as long as we were together" thx for making our Thx Giving a special one.
I made this turkey today. Butterball turkey came already brined. I spatchcocked my turkey so I didn’t end up using what you did to fill your turkey. I also didn’t use a bag. LET ME TELL YOU THOUGH…BEST TURKEY I HAVE EVER HAD. My whole family said the same and usually Turkey isn’t everyone’s favorite but this year it was!
@@nikirivera08 I don't remember sorry :( The video on how to spatchcock a turkey I used didn't cover it so maybe I didn't. I used a in oven meat thermometer so once the alarm went off to the set temperature I took it out.
I cooked my 18lbs turkey according to your recipe minus the chicken seasoning ‘cause I didn’t have it on hand, and the turkey came out so juicy and beautiful. I did spray the skin with some cooking spray before putting turkey inside the oven. Cooked uncovered for about an hour, then covered the whole time with aluminum foil since I forgot to buy the oven bag, and took off the cover on the last 20-30 minutes. I didn’t mess with the turkey while it was cooking. Turkey was delicious and juicy. Thank you!
This recipe saved our thanksgiving. Never tasted a juicier Turkey! Next year we’ll know to let sit overnight but I can’t imagine it would be anymore flavorful. Thank you!
@@debgal26 I don’t know about this recipe specifically. But you 100% have to brine your Turkey for at least 12 hrs. I do it for 24. Salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, and brown sugar are the bare necessities. Make sure your Turkey is dry before you put seasoning on. The salt will pull out the moisture, and then it will be sucked back in with the seasonings. I don’t use this bag, so if you don’t either, then make sure to brush off the excess seasoning before you cook, or it will burn. Baste with seasoned olive oil every 30-45 minutes.

Hey! I’ll be following your recipe this year and I’m wondering if I double any of the seasonings or anything because I have a 22lb turkey and you said yours is 10lb??
Awesome. I’m following your recipe.
Your voice is so calming, it makes me feel like I can actually do this! 😂
Awesome recipe i will be using it this year. I might use achiote instead of the adobo 😋😋😋
Amazing detailed presentation! Thank you for it!
