I'm a bit late to the build but enjoying it. I'm looking at starting a build myself and have some questions if you don't mind: you said you are building in Aus, where in Aus - because location determines weather, price and local expertise for me.
What size shed do you have there?
Did you buy the shed&land or are you renting it?
Would appreciate any info you are willing to provide.

Sorry for the late reply. I lost the one I had written, but apparently not posted.
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have though I can't say I'll know everything you might want to ask about. I'm building not far from Melbourne.
The shed was actually built by the owner of the yard to accommodate this boat. An agreement between the yard and former owner of the boat. I'm renting at a pretty fair rate. The yard owner is an experienced builder and there is a boat painting company working out of the yard. 3 schionnings and an Oram being built/rebuilt right now. Plus several smaller restorations, mostly multi due to the shallow entrance.
Like I said, happy to help if I can
Good to hear from you, hope you follow along once we get back to OZ and Wilda.

Id like to see a JSA and associated paperwork applied to working in a "high bubble risk area " :D

      Thanks Andrew.
It's a fantastic project and I have really enjoyed it so far. Despite being overwhelming at times.
Right now I just wish I could be there working on the boat. Can't wait to be able to get back to OZ and building. Hope you follow along once we get back.
      Thanks again,
      / Axel and Rox

Just curious how are you going to glass inside of the daggerboards holes.... :)

      😂 Good question.
Actually the cases are glassed before going into the hull. A hole is cut, the cases inserted, then cut to shape. All that is then needed is to tab them in place. Not an enjoyable task at all, but done now 😂 it's in one of the early episodes.
