Fix Subaru Infotainment Blank Screen and CarPlay Connecting Issues - Reset Procedure

How to reset the Subaru infotainment system if you have issues with the backup camera, screen going blank or freezing, connecting to Apple CarPlay, or not displaying anything. My main problem was with my Subaru backup camera, which the reset fixed. The Subaru Outback had other issues at times CarPlay wouldn't connect until I reset the unit and updated my apps and software. Ensure that nothing is connected to the infotainment system when performing the reset procedure. Also, ensure your car is not started; just turn the ignition on. Finally, if the infotainment unit is getting no power at all, I would check your fuses.

The FM reader and aux cord are in the center console in the middle If you want to play music, you would have to do it through FM reader or an aux cord

any advice on the 2015-21 wrx MFD screen above the infotainment screen not working at all it started flashing then never turned on since
