Hi there! Thanks everyone for participating and showing love to Modbap. We're overwhelmed with your positive feedback. Unfortunately not everyone could win..but we got a lucky winner: @SonRawMusic Stay tuned for more electronic music and gear content! If you haven't check out our IG page @voltage.labs
Been producing for quite some years, but only recently started my modular journey. Seems like this could catapult my basic modular set up to a whole new level!
Because discovering new sounds and ways of making them is the only thing that makes sense in my life. I'm an amateur and Thomann has been the main source of my physical synths, this would be a welcome addition. Long live Thomann and your great customer service.
I am an architect u loves modular and produce music since 97, now I have Lyme disease and I can’t work and have money for modular, that’s why i will be a very happy human with that module.
I’m excited about the Modbap Trinity because I already have plans to integrate it into my small format eurorack setup. My goal is to pair it with samplers like my Polyend Tracker to create some improper, experimental modbap. Winning this module would help bring this vision to life and push my creative boundaries even further. It’s the missing piece I need to dive deeper into unconventional sound design and rhythm exploration.
For me, Modbap gear was among the first modules to convince me that as someone making Hip Hop, Eurorack wasn't just a viable format to work in, but an exciting space that would allow me to seek out new ideas. I'd be most excited for the Trinity because the Modbap modules I do use have always gone beyond their initial use case. For example, the Osiris is a great wavetable synth for jams, but I'm just as likely to use the sub-oscilator to make a modulated bassline for a beat otherwise built around a sample. Likewise, I've made entire compositions with the per4Mer's pitched glitch repeat function. I'd really like to see how far I could push the Trinity, in that regard
@@SonRawMusic great to read how you’ve used modbap modules. It’s really good to hear your use of the Osiris sub osc. We really focused on making that like a hidden module within the module that could total handle the bass line duties in a beat. Nice to see you approach it that way and aligned with the design.
3 voices, 3x the fun- it’s a very unique voice, going from mild to wild quite easily. It having multiple types of synthesis per voice is pretty swag too, almost hitting Swiss Army knife type of drum synthesis
I've been contemplating jumping into the Modular world, but I don't have the money to start. Getting this module will be the help I need to start my journey
The size of trinity with the amount of modulation capabilities and ergonomics of the layout make it undeniably one of the best drum modules out in the market today, not to mention three drum voices!
I could really use this. I'm a fan of Modbap Modular the hue is also pretty cool but I never have the money. I've even seen Corry Banks perform he seems like a really great dude. The Trinity is really awesome and if I win it would be just the sign I need to start posting youtube videos again. Thanks!
I was literally browsing thomann for a new drum machine and saw this giveaway, that couldn’t be a better time to participate :) I didn’t know about the trinity but the possibilities of sound design with it are incredible
I read about the module in the synmag and found it really refreshing. I'm currently searching for new drum modules and to be honest: this one was on my list. :D I love the compact format with many possibilites. Reminds me on Plaits.
I just started my Eurorack/modular synth journey this summer, and have been having an absolute blast. Currently looking for several pieces to help flesh out my rig. The biggest ones are a drum module, and a sequencer. Trinity looks absolutely amazing and would fill out my needs for a drum module splendidly!
Modbap Trinity has been in my wishlists at numerous retailers from the hour I saw the demo on the Modbap TH-cam channel. While I have a couple drum modules none of the 3 have the timbral characteristics Trinity exhibits. My kit is sorely lacking the range & palette for what I hear in Modbap device demos, a feature set demanding help. I personally have a thing for slider controls when making finer adjustments & I’d love to work with the toolset this array of voices offers with such thoughtful & inspiring percussion sculpting potentials. Yes, please that’s merely a quick survey of the reasons I’d love to operate in new territory with this instrument!
@@Alpaccasilber yeah it’s a deep module. I mean we call it a filter but it’s so much more… mangler, effects drive, bit crusher, phase shifter, stereo paneer…. Not to mention the filter combos… you’d love it
Having such a versatile drum module which can create such a wide variety of drum tones would be extremely useful. Also Modbap seems like a really cool company!
Honestly, I'd love to win one. I had a Trinity before, but have been wanting one again. Most versatile and interesting eurorack drum synth IMO. It just sounds great. Equally good at doing experimental stuff as it is doing "basic" electronic drums, or almost sample-like hits.
I'm just starting to look into modular, feel like the tactile element would add a lot to my production/process esp in regards to drums/percs - this module seems really fun.
Both modules offer so much in terms of both sound design and performance. The meridian stands out to me since its a very characterful filter and thats very unique for a digital filter
I have been messing with trying to make analog style drums in ableton for the longest time because I dont have a modular system, this would be a perfect fit for my sound design workflow. It would also be the first ever modular synth I would own!
I love percussive approach in tones synthesys, it lays in between the the percussive and tonal world, which is experimental in its core, and its how I love composing
When I hear Trinity I am psyched to dive into the vast range of percussive sounds that I usually have to build out of other module like Rings which i would often like for other uses. Secondly i think its potential to build percussion more fitting for longer, evolving, ambient drones is very exciting. I have loved my other module from @ModbapModular , Osisris, and use it in patches constantly for both its highly modulate-able Wave-table oscillator and great sub sound options. Thanks for the great video @ThormannSynthesizers hope to see more.
I've just started thinking about expanding my Eurorack for drums in the future. This module would be an excellent starting point. Good luck to all players. 😀

What I love is actually tangible, physical controls that make it a great application for live performances. Whilst I love Ableton, the fact that it your faced by mappings, system delays and nearly too many options makes it harder than a drum/rhythm device for live performances.
The Trinity is something I've wanted since it came out. I think it would be immensely useful to me with sound design while also providing my modular with a myriad of percussive sounds to go with the many types of music I like to make with my small setup. This was a fun video and the bitcrushing sounds were super nice.
I have been building my modular system with the aim of performing live techno sets. This is such a flexible drum voice that could add so much interest and character to the rig

I would be thrilled to win the Trinity, as my current setup omits modular drums, which almost always require way too much - either multiple modules, or ones that demand half of your rack. But this is different, just need a few triggers, 20HP, and you're set! And the sounds are soooo nice, I already have a ton of ideas how to incorporate them into all kinds of things
@@MaxStrother exactly right. The design is more of a drum machine in eurorack format than drum module. We often say it would take 6 or more modules to get the functionality contained in Trinity otherwise. Plus it’s just really fun and performable.
Thanks Modbap & Thomann, for this awesome modules and reviews ! Trinity is a so powerful module, fit perfectly with every systems. I wish I can have one once 🎉

After having messed with a lot of standalone drum machines and get into the Eurorack world, I have understand there is not better way to build your personal drum sound than Trinity and the combination of it with other modules like effects, filters and envelopes
I’ve had the opportunity to demo the Trinity and I was blown away at the sonic possibilities it has. If I had this module it would up my live show because of how fast you can switch the synthesizer types and keep beats fresh and not static 🔥
I'd love to win the Modbap Trinity because I always find my drums to be kinda static, and to make them more dynamic takes a lot of modules. The amount of modulation options on the Trinity looks really cool. My friend also has one and it always sounds good.
I love the sound of the Trinity, and it would be my first dedicated drum module. My modular setup is very small so far and I’ve really been wanting to get into modular percussion.
I met Corry at the Brooklyn Synth Expo a few years ago. I hadn't gotten into eurorack yet but heard demos of his modules and absolutely loved them. I also loved seeing a Black developer bring the vibe of hip-hop to this world. I told him one day I'd have a rack and they'd be in it. I finally got a eurorack case and I'd be honored to have Modbap in there. Much love! 🙏🏽
Im16 yr so I dont really have my own that I can spend on music equipment. ive been learning about modular synths and it is definitely something i want to use in my music, i think this would be a really cool module to start and learn.
This would be the perfect gift for me, not just because my birthday is this very month. I am new to modular. I have started my journey with the Moog Mavis purchased on Thomann. I try to proceed with caution. However the modbap Trinity seems to be the logical next move. It has great sounds and plenty of patch points to explore.
Not just my modular journey, or my sonic adventures, but my entire life could highly benefit from more rhythm. Something steady, a pulse, creativity in meter, this beautiful module :)
Would love to have this in my rack, it sounds great and the fact it's has three voices and four modes makes it really versatile, probably the last drum module I would ever need. 🖤

Been wanting to add drums to my case and the Trinity has been high up the list of things to try - would be incredible to win one!
Love Modbap, and the Trinity is a blast to play with! Great drum sounds and highly playable!
I'd love one of these as a start to my modular journey! I'm obsessed with sound design in my work and I genuinely think I could amazing things with this
