When Cap and Thor accidentally switched weapons and Thor takes Stormbreaker back and hands Cap Mjölnir. "No, no. The bigger one's mine. You can have the small one." Also, when Dr. Strange is like "Is that everyone?" and Wong looks at him like he's insane and goes "What, you wanted more?!"
Remember that Mjornir holds the Thor spell and Stormbreaker doesn't. With Mjolnir Cap can summon lightning, with Stormbreaker he couldn't. This was not an ego thing on Thor's behalve. And Cap still is the best Avenger out there,,,
@Ben Daulton Let me guess, you're a DCEU fan, right? While you are of course right, I know there are many mistakes in this film too (as there are in any other movies) and Jeremy has some pinpointed, but dude... give us all a break and enjoy what you see instead of pouring all the joy out of it,
@Ben Daulton I repeat my earlier remark about draining the fun out of things, and cannot agree on any of your remarks; but I do wish you a fruitful life as you are obviously quite young.
“Everything special about you came out of a bottle”- Lifts Mjolnir “Your not the guy to lay down on the wire and let the other guy crawl over you” - Sacrifices himself for the universe
Ultron: "Uuughh! Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war." Lays down shield. Chooses Peggy over being Captain America.
@Cole Pratt Stark's daughter told him "I love you 3000" as a cute way to tell him how much she loved her dad. Stark then proceeded to use it as the writers way to milk our emotions. I teared up at that and when the daughter told Happy that she liked cheeseburgers.
Revisiting this 4 years later, and Jeremy's end comments about Marvel doing whatever they want to try hasn’t aged well considering where the MCU is now😂
But it HAS aged very well. The trash fire that is the MCU presently doesn't take away from the success they enjoyed for over a decade. That was his whole point, and the current state of affairs only proves his point even more. Regardless of where the MCU is now, there has never been another studio or film franchise to do what Marvel did in the Infinity Saga. Even if they are struggling right now, that doesn't diminish what they accomplish pre-covid.
@@mathsalot8099 that's not what I'm talking about. Of course the Infinity Saga was an incredible achievement. It's where we are now. The occasional banger, blended with "that was okay" experience of now...but I do have faith in Kevin Feige that things will start firing on all cylinders again soon
Captain America wielding Thor's hammer was the most hype moment I've ever seen in a theater in my entire life. The screams and applause were deafening!
I'm glad they did that for Cap in this film, without those powers he would have been regulated to fighting foot soldiers in the background instead of at the front where he belongs. I was disappointed in Thor this film though.
HONESTLY. When she came down and stood her ground against Thanos I was like "OH HERE WE GO! REVENGE!" And then the fact that she was actually winning too! Like dang. She really couldve killed him if he didnt have yelled for help. Honestly I've always loved Scarlett Witch and feel like shes just so underrated and powerful.
My "holy shit" moment was when we really got to see how powerful Scarlet Witch is. If Thanos hadn't called "rain fire," I genuinely think she would have killed him. Also, no mention of Sam's "On your left" comment? That made me cheer.
The “End Credit” scene was just a sound. Listen closely. Tony Stark hammering his original Mark1 armor in the cave during his initial capture. Perfect closing.
The scene that really got me early on was the scene where Scott reunites with Cassie. A huge part of his character motivation is to be a good dad and the first thing he wanted to find out when he got back was "what happened to Cassie" Then she's a teenager who hasn't seen him in 5 years since he's presumed dead. It was a really heartwarming meeting.
@@StajoLaBell I think about that often. His MCU arc is pretty tragic. He was in jail for 5 years(?) in Ant-Man, had a few years with her (unknown exactly) but then lost another 5 years in the Qauntum Realm. He missed out on his daughter's entire childhood. Idk I just feel like it's often unappreciated for his character.
Happy ending for him after all he went through. A man out of time, willing to sacrifice everything for everyone else's benefit but his own. Him being selfish for once and staying in the past to marry peggy made me happy
In the theatre I watched in, three biggest cheers from the crowd: 1. “Hail Hydra” 2. Cap wields Mjolnir 3. Avengers Assemble The nerdgasm we all wanted. Standing ovation Russo Bros. We can’t thank you enough.
Fat Thor Hail Hydra That is America’s ass Cap holding Thor’s hammer Falcon on your left Black Panther and Spider-Man returning Thor dual wielding his hammers Spider-Man instant kill mode So much more. This movie is the kind you have to see 10 times just to admire the references and visuals and fan service
In mine it was Cap w/ hammer Captain Marvel kicking Thanos ass Spiderman going killmode Black Panther walking through Iron Man with the stones in his gauntlet
Here are a couple of excuses I have for some of the problems people seem to have. 1) Iron Man's gauntlet holding the Infinity Stones no problem. From what I remember from Infinity War, they never said Thanos actually needed a special gauntlet from Nivadellir in order to hold the Infinity Stones. I just assumed that he had gotten it there because he knew he needed some kind of weapon to fight for the Stones and this way it would be extra durable and powerful for battling the Avengers. So basically, any type of durable gauntlet can withstand the power of the Stones, but Thanos just wanted a powerful one 2) Hulk burning and Tony being fine before he snaps. I just assumed that this was because Hulk was only wearing the gauntlet and had no protection underneath, whereas Tony was wearing his full Iron Man suit, so all of the Infinity Stones energy was going through Tony's armor instead of his flesh. 3) Thanos being able to wield Stormbreaker. People seem to be under the assumption that Stormbreaker works the same way that Mjolnir did, where someone has to be worthy in order to wield it. But this is not the case. As we saw in Thor (2011), there was a special Asgardian spell that was placed on the hammer that made this the case, but do we ever see this type of scene at Nivadellir when they forge Stormbreaker? No, we don't. Case in point, when they're finishing up building it, Groot picks it up to create the handle. Sure, Stormbreaker is an extremely powerful and badass weapon, but you don't need to be worthy in order to wield it. EDIT: I just realized another explanation for a possible plot hole. The Ancient One said that if you remove one of the Stones from a reality, then that reality will supposedly suffer. Because of this, people are questioning how Thanos could destroy the Stones at the beginning without causing any sort of problems. Here’s my explanation. You can’t create or destroy matter, so even though Thanos said he “destroyed” the Stones, they’re still in the form of atoms. This means that they still technically exist in the universe, just not in the form that the Avengers need them to be in. That may sound like it’s grasping at straws, but to me it makes sense.
Gamora being returned to the timeline kills the bulk of any actual death. They could have gotten Natasha From The Day Before. They could have gotten Tony From a Half Hour Before the Fight.
Thanos destroyed the stones in the main timeline reality where the stones served his purpose. It almost killed him because he literally wished to destroy something that almost can't be destroyed. When The Ancient One was referring to the stones, she was talking about it's existence in the time line so when she was referring it as being removed, she wasn't talking about it being destroyed but simply it's involvement within the timeline. These stones were a reoccurring theme as part of the whole history of the MCU. Without it's existence in that history, reality would splinter into something alternate. What's interesting is that Marvel is planning a What if? project series. Is it possible the disruption of the the stone's place of existence would be the narrative of this project that shows these alternate branches?
You remember that the storm breaker is so powerful that only the mighty can wield it (Thor tells quill why they can't have the god-killing weapon in infinity war) Cap: wields storm breaker anyway Me:DIDNT KNOW U COULD DO THAT
I like that doctor strange told tony that if he told him the future it might not happen and that's exactly what happened to thanos. Thanos saw the future through nebula so it didn't happen.
But near the end doctor strange did sorta informed Tony. It was when Strange was holding back the water and he looked at Tony and slowly "pointed up". At first I thought he was signalling something coming but that was his way of saying "yes this is the one where we win".
@@Bleza_2jz I didn't see it as "This is the one where we win." I saw it as a reminder, "We only get one chance to win." I could almost hear his voice. "One Chance, Tony. One."
@@Bleza_2jz Really? I thought he was saying only one sacrifice more to do. And with Tony's vision from scarlet witch, it reminded him to sacrifice for the team.
Yeah Peter talking to Tony while he was dying seemed like it had a little bit of an underlying uncle Ben call back since we didn't see this version of Spider-man's origin.
Keeping in mind, the power of the iron man suit (arc reactor) is based off the teaseract. So it’s not crazy to think that his suit could somewhat harness that power since it’s powered off one of the stones
Endgame doesn't have an end-credits scene, but is does conclude with the audio stinger of Tony forging the original Iron Man helmet, which is fucking beautiful.

When Cap and Thor accidentally switched weapons and Thor takes Stormbreaker back and hands Cap Mjölnir. "No, no. The bigger one's mine. You can have the small one."
Also, when Dr. Strange is like "Is that everyone?" and Wong looks at him like he's insane and goes "What, you wanted more?!"
And then Giant Man Rocket and Iron Patriot pop up
I wanted more. The defenders were missing.
Remember that Mjornir holds the Thor spell and Stormbreaker doesn't. With Mjolnir Cap can summon lightning, with Stormbreaker he couldn't. This was not an ego thing on Thor's behalve. And Cap still is the best Avenger out there,,,

But is being worthy more powerful than The High ground?
About as hype as when yoda was walking down the hall towards palpatine and lit up the saber

Simultaneously, it is sad that he missed those 5 years of her life...
He stood alone and was ready to face Thanos' whole army, was worthy of Mjölnir, and he got that dance.
It was absolutely PERFECT!
Happy ending for him after all he went through. A man out of time, willing to sacrifice everything for everyone else's benefit but his own. Him being selfish for once and staying in the past to marry peggy made me happy

LOVED THIS SCENE
Didn't he yeet his head into the rubble with a kick, though? Lol
So basically, any type of durable gauntlet can withstand the power of the Stones, but Thanos just wanted a powerful one
2) Hulk burning and Tony being fine before he snaps.
EDIT:
I just realized another explanation for a possible plot hole.
Thanks for clearing that up. I wouldn't care if the movie had problems because I loved the film anyway
You remember that the storm breaker is so powerful that only the mighty can wield it (Thor tells quill why they can't have the god-killing weapon in infinity war)
Cap: wields storm breaker anyway
Me:DIDNT KNOW U COULD DO THAT
Thanos states that the stones are "Gone, reduced to atoms." They still exist, but not in any usable state.
The true hero of this film is the rat that got Ant-man out off the quantum realm.

I like that doctor strange told tony that if he told him the future it might not happen and that's exactly what happened to thanos. Thanos saw the future through nebula so it didn't happen.
That's Profound.
But near the end doctor strange did sorta informed Tony. It was when Strange was holding back the water and he looked at Tony and slowly "pointed up". At first I thought he was signalling something coming but that was his way of saying "yes this is the one where we win".
Thor's mom says the same thing to his son in a different way. He wanted to save her from being murdered but she refuses.
