- During a tour of Yorkshire I visited Mathewsons from Bangers and Cash in Thornton le Dale plus the village of Goathland which was used as Aidensfield in tv’s Heartbeat. More of the Heartbeat video will be on my camper channel.

It’s been well over 2 years she’s left now, I think even she’ll admit she’s an ex tv personality now other than repeats and her fame in the car communities that is, but she’s doing well, we do discuss it in her Ital video I filmed
Hi there yes I have not seen bangers & cash I will be looking that up but like your self's I was brought up with these lovely cars and I have had a few of them my dad & older brother had mobile shops back in the day in the northeast but I have never been to gotland I have been meaning to go and heartbeat its one of my favourite shows it was a shame when they finish the show it was a light hearted look like it was in the 60s I still like watching the repeats well done

Both the TR4As had the hardtop with removable "Surrey top" vinyl panel, the furthest one by the Aston had a TR5 grille fitted.

I liked the old Rover which you did not comment on. Never heard of 'Bangers and Cash' until it recently came up in my YT suggestions. It's not been on TV here (USA), we get 'Wheeler Dealers' and 'The Lazy Mechanic' from the UK.
It’s a very cheaply made programme on a small channel.

That was interesting to see how it really is at Mathewsons, must visit it myself when all the restrictions are lifted.
I’d have liked to see the new place but there wasn’t time for car stuff really (it was Heather’s birthday weekend)

Never seen Bangers and Cash, may have to have a look. That Escort Van does excite me as I do like a mark 5 and 6 Escort. Goathland is a lovely spot in the world, been there a couple of times.
