I'm 62 and took early retirement and just found your channel today. Very interesting videos, so just subscribed. Just bought your budget planner too, which I think will be very useful. I actually hate autumn and winter, I'm definitely a spring and summer person! Good luck with your future journey through life as a single parent, I was one too! 💖
Great budget. I totally agree that prices are still going up maybe at a slower rate but still rising. I am semi retired but still work a few hours a week. I have always been able to save my small wage which is usually about £275 a month but this last few months I have had to include that in my budget. Although I am in my mid 70’s I am really questioning if I can afford to stop working completely. I do have some savings but really fear if I start to dip into them I will never be able to put the money back into savings. I really can not understand how people who have only the state pension manage to live. I have a small occupational pension, no debt and my house is paid off I live frugally but could not stay out of debt is I only had my state pension. You are doing a great job building a new life for yourself and your sons and as they grow your life will become easier.
Thanks for sharing. This year has just flown by I feel. I think it was the poor weather, we didn't get round to doing most of our usual summer outings and it's now Halloween season 🎃. Would love to see more about your food budget and how you make the money stretch. We shop aldi and we were in morrisons during the summer and I thought it was a lot more expensive. P.s. I also love a sticker and a bit of washi 🤣
I totally feel the same, time is going by so quickly and the kids are growing up too fast! I love Autumn too one of my favourite seasons 🍂 I’ve been thinking about buying your budget book for a while and finally bit the bullet. I’ve been struggling a bit with my budget these last few months so I’m excited to get it! 🎉
Im a huge fan of autumn i love everything about it. I think the next month or so will be a very tight food budget think i will need to get in down a bit, but we do have full freezer so think this is doable. I guess of u can allow a little extra for food even if u dont use it, it qill put ur anxiety around it to rest a little. Great vid as usual.

I need to share more about my food budget but not sure what would actually be interesting? 🤔

Oh gosh I’m going through this with my children. Time is going so fast ! X
It really does!
Did you manage to stick to the food budget last week? Really enjoyed your check ins for your no spend month.
Thank you for watching them! I’ve got a video going up on Wednesday with the final numbers ☺️
Just ordered your budget book.
Thank you for your order 💜
I don’t drive, but is petrol really that high 😮
I drive a lot of miles in a week 😕
@@NicolaatTheFrugalCottage yeah, it’s way more expensive then I would of thought. 😮
Hi
I've just set up an envelope sinking fund system, I love it.
Could you work nearer home? - that seems like a huge petrol budget
I will look at that at some point - my petrol costs are high 😕
