That last play with the Typhoons in the middle was really good! It kept your chaff and hammers protected with bubbles while shredding the enemy chaff at the same time. That sudden pressure just crushed your opponent.
Typhoons are like mustangs, generalist unit that is fairly durable, fairly fast, and can handle chaff and still shoot up single targets. God get a Typhoon with a big attack buff item or picks and they'd be even scarier. Very good unit all around, a good pick when you ain't sure what you need or need to handle multiple things.
Missed the opportunity to name this episode the "Bubble Boys Boogaloo" or something similar. Typhoon is basically the Scorpion version of a Mustang. So combining them with any hard-hitting units makes for a good combo, but I might be bias course it's one of my favourite units. The overlapping shields are a pretty effective team to fight most things around mid-game. But If the opponent have the Electromagnetic Barrage tech on Melting points you instantly lose late game unless they lose the chaff war super hard. so it's a bit of a risky play.
There's some fun stuff you can do with typhoon missiles and mobile beacon. The missiles have a separate lock to the brrrt. That means you can lock unto a giant for example, walk away while clearing evesything in your path, and still shoot the giant from down range. Works best with lvls and items.
Typhoons are also visually very appealing :)

Typhoons are a fun unit. Just shooting everything with a million bullets is always very fun.

oh good to know MPs counter this
@WujoozBlazemanGaming specifically Elctromag MPs.
Which is probably what your opponent was gearing up for with the MP additions those last 2 rounds.
Very happy to finally see typhoons get the love
