Good eye! Yes, I sure did. It's because they had transparency applied. The opacity I applied also in the headline lost the transparency on export to EPub. I guess transparency doesn't carry over to EPub (Fixed Layout). Thanks for watching and learning!
despues de tener el diseño como hago para que el cliente puedo abrir un doc epub sin necesidad de instalar un software? como podria publicarlo y copiar un link para que lo vea en fullscreen? gracias por el video!
Hi - these Indesign to EPub formats are quite popular and look like a cool easy way to do interactivity. I have gone thru a few of your tutorials, but i have found very few playback devices that play them back correctly, especially in Android and Windows. The only place i see it working is Microsoft Edge. Android Play Books and virtually every e-book player on Android cant render them. Can you suggest some non-apple players?
Thank you Angelo, great, is it anyway to create a full scroll down not a slider?, i mean you created two pages when the first one is finished you have to slide to see the second one, is there any possibility to make a complete scroll down?, thank you
Hi Preeti! Yes, this will work with both platforms. If you're on iOS it's a little easier as it'll open in Apple Books. I am not on Android, so you will have to find one that works best for you. Some options: • Google Play Books • Lithium • Moon+ • Adobe Digital Editions
Hi Angelo, I had a play around with creating a text EPUB for a user guide. The interaction worked well in iBook. But not so great in Adobe Digital Editions. In ADE the first page looked fine. But the following pages appeared very zoomed in. Not sure why. In Google Play Book, non of the interactions, eg. scrolling or sliding to the next page worked at all. Do you have any further tips on what could be causing these issues?
@@preetinayee6296 Hello how are you? sorry for the question but I'm in the same situation as you, were you able to find how to open it on android?, if so could you tell me how please please
Hey Luis! The best EPub reader I have come across from Windows/Android users is called Calibre. It holds all the interactivity and animation. I know because I tested it out for Mac. Give it a try. calibre-ebook.com/
Hey there. Do you mean a pop-out box with text that you can close? I cover that in this tutorial. I am sharing where I go over the specific topic, but you're more than welcome to watch the entire lesson. Take care. th-cam.com/video/8UCb9IYkrhc/w-d-xo.html
@@AngeloMontilla No no. I've seen this tutorial too. I mean, I want to pop up different text with the same button in a different state. Suppose, I want to see details of every pic by clicking on the same button. These pictures are in different states. Pictures and texts will be in different states and they will be managed by only one button... Hope you got it.
@@shahadatakborshakit7390 Yes you can add multiple "Go to State" actions to a single button so that it opens multiple text frames on click or tap. Create the button, add the first action, then click the + icon to add the second and third action to the same button.
Hi Nicole. You wouldn't be able to scroll up or down on mobile if it wasn't in a scrolling frame. Also, the scrolling frame is a great feature if you have too much text that doesn't fit on a page. Instead of cutting the copy, you can contain everything in a scrolling frame. Hope that helps.
Awesome. I learn so much from your channel. You lost the pink circles behind the buttons, btw, Did you notice?

do you have a video on a scrollable PDF Catalog you can view on your computer?
Thank you very much Angelo Montilla. Your video really informative.

Hi there, because this a EPub, pages will transition side ways by clicking a next/previous button or swiping left/right on mobile.
Awesome tutorial
Hi, is there an indesign cs6 program? Good luck with.
Hi Angelo, your video was super helpful. Thank you. Can you tell me, can EPUB be supported by Android as well as Apple?

Hiperlink is working in computer bt not in mobile please help me!
the scrolling Frame ad on doesn't work with the newest inDesign version
can you please help me?
Hey there. I haven’t tried it in the 2022 version. Let me try and get back to you. You may have to go back a version to use scrolling frames from in5.
absolutely great
If it wasnt Apple Books, where and how would you publish this for easier access for all the android peoples?

Does this e-pub catalogue works like that if I send it to the client by message app (like Whatsapp)?
Hey Helner. Yes, however the recipient will need an e-reader for mobile. Apple Books or Google Play Books for Android are best ones.

What did the scrolling frames part actually do? That part confused me.
