HMAS Ballarat Operation MANITOU Rotation 67

Over the last 9 months deployed it would be a surprise if i didn't have a GoPro or two ready to set up somewhere. After hours of trimming, editing and vetting footage I've put together this video for the ship's company and their families to enjoy and look back on some of the memories from such a successful deployment to the Middle East Region.

i was on the launch crew of the ballarat in williamstown some guy upset john howard when he was giving his speech he was with steve bracks vics labor leader on the day, did much fabrication work on the ballarat .

The Adelaide Class FFG's got decommissioned in 2019, technically their role has been taken over by the Hobart class DDGs. CSO is a really good job you can get posted to any of the major fleet vessels (not sure about Patrol boats?)
