in this video we look at how to use a surpass hobby Programming Card for a esc on a rc car these are really easy to use if you know how to use them so i thought i would take the time to show how to do it as i had no idea myself

Thanks. Excellent timing. I can confirm that your process works on a racestar 60a esc, using the racestar card (which appears to be identical to the surpass card)

Yeah it's easy to do but some people have struggled with incompatibility

Did you make a video for recalibrating the ESC if you did not how do I recalibrate it thanks I have a red soils light on my surpass hobby esc I have steering but no throttle I messed with my th trim and it's still not doing nothing

Please help me with my rc I have a deerc 300E brushless rc car with a 25a 2-3s lipo esc I want to get a program card as my card chogs and I have to pull trigger fully to get it moving
i just got a new brushless motor and esc system from surpass rc and the programming card came with the kit. my work state light only flashes. i’ve tried flipping the wires. plugging it into the motor unplugging the motor nothing seems to be working could you help me out
If my surpass hobby queen esc 80a is not wanting to make my motor to start moving it’s just making my motor kind of kicking for a little bit and after a few minutes it finally goes and when I let go of the throttle it starts doing the same thing
It's called cogging,either bad connections or the esc isn't working right sometimes happens with cheaper escs
anyway to calibrated the esc for throttle range on the controller?
Not on the surpass but some controllers like the dumborc have a built-in function for doing it

Yes my light activates on throttle and reverse on the esc.unfortunately I don't think there is a way of resetting without the card sorry buddy

Yes buddy you unplug the esc from receiver and connect

My brake is set to forward for some reason so when I go in reverse the brake activates when I go forward I need help
You have 3 stages fwd brake and reverse so if you are going forward and move to brake it brakes the same works with reverse

Will this help with throttle delay? When I pull the throttle and it takes about 1 to 2 seconds before the car starts to move
It may help a little but setting your end points will help more
How do I set end points? Sorry I’m new to the rc family.
@@jacobevans7079 i have a video on setting end points pyt each esc manufacturers are different if using a dumborc with the surpass you,can use the manual for the dumbo
I have a goolrc 3500kv motor and ese combo

Have you flipped the wire round if you have it maybe the wrong card
@@bigbeardrc4145 could be the wrong card. It's a racestar card but a surpass esc. It says it'll work with 120amp but if the racestar one isn't compatible that would be the issue. Looks exactly like yours tho.

hello friend congratulations nice video, a question I have a battery esc 120a 2s 7.4v on the board where but put? 3.1, 2.9, 2.7 ,? please explain to me friend what these values mean 3.1 2.9 2.7 what are they for? heartfelt thanks friend

@@bigbeardrc4145 thank you very professional friend. I have a battery from 7.4 2s so on 3.1 I turn a little and stop? if I put at 0 lap more but I drain the whole battery?

Super late lagg on my first run. Ordered the surpass card since none of the other program cards work with surpass hobbies esc lol
Hey buddy thanks for watching.its a strange one these cards there are lots that are identical but wont work on other esc.mine was a bit slow to react aswell,for the price I think these cards are a good investment
I wish they started the lipo cut of from 3.1 up to 3.6

Shame you can't lower the neutral range lower than 9% for a faster trigger response.
second option is 6%... ;) (they go "9% --> 6% --> 12%")
for me the work state light just blink all time
Either a dodgy card or it's not the correct 1 some a copies and don't work
