SOOOOO crazy!!! i recently got into Horse the band. And IWABO sounds like a crazy mathcore band.....but THIS band when you listen to it, you just CANT relax its like a Rollercoaster that lasts for 3:33!
@hailmetal16 - The definition of music is "an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color." I just couldn't find any of those elements that were readily apparent on my first few listens of psyopus. That was the whole reason I said this wasn't music.
i always wonder how can i play like that for me its really confusing because it looks like its just ransom notes but its not !!!!!!! Satan help me to understand this!!
Saw them with Atheist in July. They were awesome! Put on a much better show than The Faceless. But then Atheist came on and blew everyone away. Best night of my life. After the show I meght Arp and Bauers. I also met every member of Atheist. Autographs and pictures and everything. Again, best night of my life.
@detharmy666 I know that it sounds the same live and in the studio, I've tried to listen to them. Mathcore really can't be classified as music though...although I am a big Dillinger Escape Plan fan
@G0D666 Yeah man never mind. I read their Wikipedia wrong. I thought it said at one point they had 2 guitarists. And I found it hard to believe there's 2 people on earth that can play this stuff, lol.
@hailmetal16 - It's not a lack of ability. Like I said, I am a big Dillinger Escape Plan fan, and I'm obsessed with Between the Buried and Me, so I'm no stranger to crazy complex stuff. I just didn't feel like trying to enjoy it, so I posted my original comment. And I can recognize how complex Psyopus is, but I just don't think they're that great, ok? :)
I guess any sort of surprise in register/modulation/motive was left bleeding on the floor after like 3 seconds. (Still; i enjoy, music must be free over every criteria; there's so much conservative bullshit)

Well the reason that they wouldn't sell you the cd is that it's not actually out yet, it does however, come out on the tour their currently on so that is why they have it.
Arpmandude can't be kicked out of the band because nobody can learn their songs lol. He's beast.
This band makes me happy everytime I listen to it.
This kind of metal was around long before Dillinger Escape Plan. Plus this band is actually very different from Dillinger Escape Plan.
