Fry is 28 and they have control of him until 2030. They have plenty of time to sign him and it would be foolish to extend him this early. He will be 33 and many players are on the downside of their career at that age. I hope he still is playing well that far in the future but god damn learn how shit works.
Let them finish out the season… Kwans more deserving, Fry needs to show this consistency for the rest of the year.. We’ve all seen flash in the pan type outcomes, But I hear ya, great young talent
Cleveland signed David Fry as a last-minute signing training camp. He didn't think he would make the team but wanted to sign on as try out! Now he is a very important piece to this team! David Fry has same story as Michael Bradley. That both players were thrown in a trade because they didnt look like they will never become MLB starters.
That’s not true at all, Cleveland already had control of his contract, if he didn’t make the big league team he still would have been in the Cleveland organization. He wasn’t in camp as a “try out”
Kwan's face at 0:50 responding to Fry's comment about "hoping to make the team" 🤣
That was gold 😂
I came to the comments for this 😂😂😂
@CrafteyBucket For real! Also a genuine indication of how much these guys believe in each other. Awesome to see!
great job men
They both deserve contract extensions!!!
