    The screaming could have been an elk bugle. an elk bugle is a mating call that sounds like something is in serious pain or dying, so it is possible that it could've been that.

    • @lynn69jackson
      @lynn69jackson 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +38

      Some animal mating calls sound ungodly.
      I heard an ungodly sound in my back garden a few years ago.
      When I switched on my security light, it was just a female fox in heat.
      I am from the UK, and on still summer nights, you can hear lions, tigers, and baboons roaring.
      I'm not joking either.
      I live less than 1 mile away from one of the UKs safari parks.
      The most scary noise(until you knew what it was) used to be the low rumblings of the African elephants.
      We don't hear the elephants anymore as they have been sent to European zoos on captive breeding programmes.

      My thoughts. Everyone saying it's a big cat needs to re-watch big cat screaming videos. That sound was far too deep to be a big cat.

    The scream in the woods, given the slight warble at the trailing end of the scream, it sounds like either wolves or wild dogs. The woods are dense and there's likely caves in the area as well, so there's a lot of things for the sound to get distorted and echo off of. A wildcat scream tends to sound more high-pitched, even when they're using sounds to lure prey in. Those sound more bass, and have a sort of ongoing barking warble when the sound trails off.

    That first one, with the cabin and all of the IDs from various people......people that apparently were not the person staying in the cabin.....Damn. Gives off serious serial killer vibes, y'know? Serial killers like to build themselves remote little hideouts....and they really like to keep trophies.... IDs being one of their faves.....

    • @nuthinmuffins5073
      @nuthinmuffins5073 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      Exactly what I was thinking. I’m really curious about if the I.D.s were a mix of men and women, all one or the other, all men who look roughly the same around the same age, all petite women in their 20s with long brown hair and green eyes… etc. What they do and don’t have in common would narrow down the likely reasons they were there. The whole story left me wanting more details. And I wonder what might’ve happened if they’d looked for remains after it was gone, or just what they would’ve found if they’d investigated instead of leaving the notice. I’m so annoyed they did that. If the I.D.s hadn’t been there, what else there was would’ve provided a weak reason to look into the situation (or even if it had just been two different I.D.s - something like that), but put it all together and there’s good reason to investigate, It sure feels like a narsty criminal was given a chance to find another hiding place and completely escape scrutiny. There’d have to be some interesting and very convincing reasons for all of that weirdness otherwise.

    • @LizFromDecencyUnited

      @@nuthinmuffins5073 Also, I'm assuming the photos shown were ones taken by the forestry guy, before the shed was removed. Was that the only pic of the inside? Were there more? If so, what were in them? Did he take pics of any of the IDs? Yeah, there's so much more to this story that just isn't here. Like, there had to have been SOME indication of how/where the shed was taken, y'know? I mean, I know woodcraft, and can move pretty 'seamlessly' thru a forest, but NO ONE can move completely seamlessly, without leaving a single trace. It just isn't possible. Expert trackers should have been able to follow the dude. Damn, I want more info on this case! LoL

    I was just back from a tour of Afghanistan and was going to go camping in the mountains of Colorado, one of my soldiers father's owned a guide service and the loaned me some horses and I went up into the mountains and about 20 miles out into the woods, I set up camp in a small clearing with a 6 man tent fed the horses and ate, I was relaxing in the tent reading and it started to rain when I heard someone call out "hello in the camp" I got up grabbed my flash light and looked outside when a man stepped into the clearing looking like grizzly Adams complete with a mule and buck skin cloths, I greeted him a asked him in out of the weather gave him some coffee and he told me he was a Vietnam vet that had retreated into the mountains in 1973, we sat and talked for about another hour the we sacked out, when I woke up the next morning he was gone, all my stuff was still there and I stayed for about a week, never saw him again, my friends dad told me that they saw him every once in awhile but he never messed with anybody

    Perfect timing. Two days ago I decided to take a walk in the woods. I’ve known these woods my whole life, but recently I haven’t visited them. So I’m walking, smoking a J, listening to the sounds of nature. I made a well known to me turn. After half a km I realized I don’t recognize my surroundings at all. I knew that it’s impossible that I just teleported, and I was certain I took the correct turn. I knew there should be an intersection right ahead, so I decided to push on, but as I was walking forward I got increasingly uneasy. I started to look around, and really pay attention to my surroundings. When I returned my gaze to look straight ahead I realized that someone was standing in the middle of the path. It was a tall slim person, dressed in all black, except for orange vest. I didn’t know what to do, but I kept slowly walking forward. I mean it’s not like it was a really remote part of the woods, and even tho it was really really rare to see other people there, it’s not like it was impossible. I kept walking, but then I realized that this person was still just standing there motionless, watching me. I slowly moved forward, but they just kept standing there. After a few more seconds I got so uncomfortable I couldn’t bear it anymore. I turned on my heel, and started walking back. Every few steps I was looking over my shoulder. They were still standing there when I took a turn…

      They can be found in Minnesota, which kinda makes sense, considering they are commonly associated with the winter, and Minnesota is a northern state. I can’t help but wonder if they can be found in Nebraska and Iowa as well. I wonder this, because if you look at Minnesota, Nebraska, and Iowa, you’ll notice that Minnesota borders Iowa, which borders Nebraska. I know in my area of Nebraska, Specifically Seward County, there are quite a few trees there. There’s even a park in my hometown that is surrounded by a creek, which has a lot of trees. People don’t go to this park because they don’t know it exists. But there’s a rumor that the park is haunted, which is why nobody goes to it. There’s even rumors that 5 Kids went missing in this park. There’s still another rumor that a kid ended up choking to death after his jacket got caught on the slide. Why I talked about this park in relation to my original comment, I don’t know.

    There are two stories where I grew up about Hannah.
    One from the town ten miles away and one from the one I lived in, which terrified me, cuz I was 12 and taking my younger sisters trick or treating and a teenage girl dressed as the titular character from the legend followed me for ten minutes referring to me as "My child!" and... Hey, I was 12.
    Winsted - Hannah’s Grave - The story says that a woman named Hannah went crazy and killed her entire family. Afterward she felt so bad about it that she hung herself from a windmill. There were three windmills at her house and she hung herself from the middle one. Now whenever the wind is blowing the windmill in the middle blows the opposite way.
    There are actually a few places in the region with triple windmills, so the story may or may not be true.

More popular content creators like The Infographics Show and Bright Side feature more misinformation than, really, social media influencers. We actually handle them frequently out here in the Texas country to freak out city people who are not aware of their docile nature. The females get very large (for a web spider) when they're about to spin their egg sacks so it makes for some good jokes.

      @@sheyshey1306 I bet you're fun at parties....
      In answer to your comment, humans are actually quite capable of holding conflict thoughts, feelings and emotions at the same time. It's a kind of cognitive dissonance. For example the German concept of "Angslust" is often applied to abandoned places, and is the idea you can be drawn to and yet repulsed by something simultaneously
      So I can find places, eerie and peaceful at the same time. I can also feel it's quite eerie that I find places in that state peaceful. The phrase works on many levels.
      So please, continue to enjoy your limited and prescriptive use of language, but for the sake of everyone, give the "." Key a rest, your keyboard will thank you.

      @sheyshey1306 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@The_Bearded_Wanderer I appreciate your reply and the fact that, that phrase exist, but you must admit those 2 words should not belong together, because sometimes eerie is something that unsettles you and engages your flight response , yet something peaceful is something that settles you, gives you peace, a sense of safety. And the other leaves you in an unease state.....
      How then, can you feel centred in such a conflicting state..... Surely it's impossible, no?
      Imagine the building is ablaze and you are stood inside it... Do you, have a sit down to keep yourself warm because it's the middle of winter and being at the centre stage of the fire gives the perfect vantage were heat is equally distributed to your entire body, and so forth and so forth ? 🧐
      Do you keep warm or do you flee? So yes, at the end of the day, my statement of calling the language police might be somewhat, humorous but the fact remains at the core of it, you are left in a singular state dispite curiosity, which means your curiosity has led you to ignore your other state, because surely you must explore further...... As powerful as curiosity is, you have abandoned 1 state of being and your mind must compensate for the situation you have left your self in...... So, is the place eerie or peaceful? Do you dare to spend the night there? Or are you greatly unsettled so much so, it has surpassed your curiosity?
      If you can answer these questions truthful, you will discover that the state of being eerily peaceful, is a term your minded has coined to justify your actions as to why you, choose to remain in that place....
      Oh and "....." means there is more to be said but I will stop here, and this will allow your brain to understand that, they are more factors at play, ones not particularly relevant, but relevant in the grand scheme of things, allowing your brain to factor in the missing information, thereby leading to a conclusion.
      So I ask again is it eerie (you are unsettled to a point of never ending unrest) or is it peaceful (you welcome the opportunity to remain there until the very end because it leaves you in a state of complete calmness, a safety, a sense of security you dare not leave the place) ? Which is it peaceful or eerie...... The 2 do not and will never co-exist unless you are somehow, able to move your physical body from point A to point B, without moving a muscle and without aid... Can you breathe while holding your breath? Can you walk while laying down, can you exist and at the same time not exist? Are you the embodiment of Schrodinger's cat? For this is the only state that allows you to be physically, eerily peaceful.
      So I ask again what state are you in?

Wendigos are described as powerful monsters that have a desire to kill and eat their victims. In most legends, humans transform into wendigos because of their greed or weakness. Another legend is that they would turn into a Wendigo because of the cannibalization of four people one after another. And it is very painful, and unreversable.

The area was rain forest and beautifully lush with huge tree ferns, so pretty. We got up there one night to stay, went into the shack (it belonged to the scouts and we had permission to go there) we got into the shack and there was blood smeared everywhere with some remnants of some poor animal on the floor. We all stood there so shocked for a minute,then got the heck out. It was like some awful sacrifice! No staying there that night. The other weird thing that happened that night was when we pulled into the long track to take us to the shack the radio in the car stopped working and as soon as we left it came back on at the same location. Had never happened before. This was 1980. We did go back and the shack was clean. Weird!

    I loved that candy store in the woods as soon as I saw it. And the stairs reminded me of one season of Channel Zero.

    There's a lot of strange and unexplained things going on on this world, a years ago I watched a documentary of girl sheds crystal with tears. I hope you make more video about these people with strange medical condition.

    For the noise in the woods I think it’s a mountain lion but I could be wrong

      There's no predators , where I live , unless the odd predatory human Is included .
      The howling heard by the hunters , wasn't a Bear , nor mountain lion , or a stag in Rutt , not even a Canis Lupus - wolf .

      My grandpa's bloodhounds would sound like this to alert they had their target up a tree. I only heard two actually sound this way and they were older, like 10 & 12.
