I was skeptical of the Labo at first, but seeing this took my concerns away. I can easily see the bike and piano games alone being incredibly popular with the creative freedom they give to players ( and I can already see the numerous TH-cam videos of people remaking famous VG tracks with the piano game)

I have so many questions with the motorcycle game, that one can possibly sell well if it isn't motion control only and online. Racing each other on custom made tracks sounds like a lot of fun.

Slight misunderstanding, I love all of it, but I'm referring to this being kind of a sequel to AR cards.
The fishing game caught my attention because when they caught a fish it instantly reminded me of the 3DS game. (I have reason to believe it uses the same sounds and music)

I can't believe the party pooper "adults" that think they're too old to like this. You don't have to be rushing out to buy it, but you have to at least admit it's neat little techknowledgy, especially for it's target audience. It really has that wholesome Nintendo charm. Dismissing something for being too "childish" is sometimes ironically the most childish thing you can do.

The whole discussion regarding toys is pretty much selfexplanetory. No matter what people do play with, they 'play' and that pretty much groups them all up in the same boat. The silly part is that certain riders of said boat try to push others overboard by telling them their toys are more childish than their toys. It's stupid. Toys are toys, no matter if its building bricks like LEGOs or a video game system, a puppet or a pair of VR glasses. People who don't have an open mind can't be taken seriously overall. ^^'

I like that already each individual activity packs almost if not more than the likes of Wii Sports ever did. The afct all have some level of customization also adds to the idea that this is suppose to be for kids to create new stuff rather than just a minigame to play for 5 mins and then drop it.

I was more curious about the variety kit than the Robot one, and HOLY CRAP. I want that variety kit now. The creativity that this offers is amazing. This is exactly what I wanted when I was a kid.

Why, the building process is like half the fun. Especially the art and coloring part.
Robotics/RC car. Fishing Simulator. Virtual Pet. Excitebike. Music Maker. That's 5 very different demographics, but each of them could be a great standalone game, getting all 5 means each one hits something great.
When this thing is released, I hope the internet is ready for the sudden influx of dick fish.

This is really going to inspire creativity. I thought it would before, but a part of me felt that that "creativity" was limited since you're just building what Nintendo had layed out on the template. A lot of these games let you create your own things, though. You can create your own fish, music, and race tracks in the fishing, piano, and bike games, all in interesting ways often involving real materials. That IR Scanner on the right Joy-Con sure is nifty, eh? The House game lets you experiment by putting those blocks into the house in different ways to get different effects. I'm sure that the RC Car will have some cool things, too.
Figuring out how these Toy-Con work will also be a great learning experience for kids, especially the RC Car. That little bug is pretty neat, if you ask me!

I'm very surprised by how much depth this kit has. Bravo Nintendo, you've proved me wrong to think this would be another 1 2 Switch. The bike game in particular is amazing, it's basically a bike version of the Mario Kart Maker I've dreamed about!

That motorcycle game has more depth then I was expecting. I assumed it would just be a bunch of simple Wii Sports styled minigames for the Labo projects, I didn't think it would come with a full featured racing game.
