I've been searching for a transition chair for my husband with particular features. My husband was unfortunately amputated and part of process is to continue his medical appt. Transferring him from bed to car and vice versa is a struggle due to weight of wheelchair. Special needs is that the arm rests must be uplifted and chair needs to be lightweight so that I can put into trunk of car without breaking my back. Can you steer me to company who might fill requirements or see visual of what's available.

Oh please...look at how bulky and heavy this is not to mention how are you supposed to turn around to put it on and stuff. People want to be independent...not rely on others to help.

$11,000 Australian. I have one. Its great. But my carer has to dismantle and rebuild when I go in car. But its easy once you do it a couple of times.
